Recently, the expertise of workers in residential facilities for the disabled has been emphasized and the need for education has increased. Therefore, this study analyzed cognition of job importance and educational needs according to workers of the disabled residential. Data were collected from 162 workers of the residential facilities for the disabled in Gyeonggi and were analyzed using t-test and IPA analysis. As results of this study, case management practice (basic), case management practice (advanced), life support for disabled persons (basic), program development (basic), business planning and evaluation (basic), business planning and evaluation (advanced) were both job importance and education needs high. The results of this study can be used as a basic reference for the direction of the education system of the residents of the disabled.

Objectives We analyzed and organized present studies related to medical care for the disabled to establish an appropriate model of visiting health management for the people with disability. Methods To analyse study of medical care for the disabled, 11 electonic databases (PubMed, Chinese Academic Journals, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Medline, Oasis, KMBASE, KISS, KISTI, NDSL, RISS) were searched from 2009 to 2018. There's no limit to the type of study. Results The search showed 20 domestic studies and 113 foreign studies that were screened for final inclusion of 37 studies. The all of domestic studies were relevant to dental research. The foreign studies have reported on the treatment of underlying diseases and medical services for the disabled. Conclusions Most studies have reported that government institutional support were needed for systematic treatment of the disabled. In the future, institutional support would be needed to establish the model of oriental doctor's visiting health management for the disabled.

This study is to investigate what the factors motivating the wheelchair basketball club members to participate in the wheelchair basketball club are and what the factors hindering the members from participating in the wheelchair basketball club are, based on which it has been conducted to explore the effective direction of the management of the wheelchair basketball club for the physically disabled persons in the future. For this study, a survey targeting 180 members currently participating in the wheelchair basketball clubs in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, Gyeongnam, Jeju areas has been conducted and the data gained from 144 respondents of them have been analyzed and its key results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the results of analyzing the physically disabled persons' motives of participation in the wheelchair basketball club show that the respondents have most frequently participated in the wheelchair basketball club by their motives of the pastime-oriented type, which was followed by the health-oriented one, then by the home-oriented one. The results of examining the difference in the motivations for participation based on the degree of participation in the wheelchair basketball club and on the social demographic characteristics of the club members show that there was a significant difference depending on the group by residence, the subjective health condition in the light of the pastime-oriented motives and there was significant difference depending on the age, the occupation, the group by residence, the frequency of participation. Secondly, according to the results of investigating and analyzing the factors hindering the members of the club from participating in the wheelchair basketball club for the physically disabled persons, the structural factors are found to have been the biggest hindrance factor of participation and there was a significant difference depending on the age, the highest level of education, the occupation, the frequency of participation in the club in verifying the difference in the hindrance factors of participation in the club in accordance with the social demographic characteristics of the club members and the frequency of participation in terms of internal factors. Based on the abovementioned research results, some future effective management strategies of the wheelchair basketball club for the physically disabled persons have been discussed.

Purpose: This study analyzed the effects of meridian massage on the muscle power, ROM, and ADL in persons with cerebral palsy. Method: A non-equivalent pre-test/post-test design was used. The data were collected from August to October, 2000 from 10 persons with cerebral palsy (a control group of 5 and an experimental group of 5). Muscle power was evaluated with the Brunnstrom-Dennen gravity test, ROM with a goniometer, and ADL with a self developed ADL scale. T-test, repeated measure ANOVA were used for statistical analysis. Result: The results are; 1. For muscle power, both time series group difference (F=10.66, p=0.000) and the total period group difference (F=72.67, p=0.000) were significant between the two groups. 2. ROM was not significantly different between the two groups. 3. For ADL, both time series group difference (F=7.09, p=0.001) and total period group difference (F=35.99, p=0.000) were significant between the two groups. Conclusion: Overall, this study shows that Meridian massage is effective for muscle power, ROM, and ADL in persons with cerebral palsy person. So it can be used to develope effective nursing programs to improve the function of motion of persons with cerebral palsy.

Ago the passenger who using a wheelchair was denied boarding from the airline. The ACT ON THE PROHIBITION OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST DISABLED PERSONS prohibits discriminatory treatment of persons with disabilities in transportation. But there are situations that limits the movement on persons with reduced mobility. The international community promote to protect disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility against discrimination and to provide them with assistance when travelling by air. According to news report, the governing Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has established new global core principles on air transport consumer protection. The principles cover three phases of a customer's experience: before, during and after travel, and will now be considered by ICAO's 191 Member States when they develop or review their applicable national regimes. The international community are recognizing that passengers can benefit from a competitive air transport sector, which offers more choice in fare-service trade-offs and which may encourage carriers to improve their offerings, passengers, including those with disabilities, can also benefit from consumer protection regimes. In accordance with these we will also be provided to regulations that can prevent and protect the air passenger. In this paper analyze the regulations of the international air passenger rights, point out the lack of policy.

This study examines the status quo of the support system for companies of persons with disabilities in Korea, and then estimates the corporate income tax reduced from a special taxation system, same as one applied to social enterprises and standard workplace for persons with disabilities, using 「Data for registered companies of persons with disabilities」(2020.6) by the Disable Enterprise Business Center. Now companies of persons with disabilities have more than 87% in the business continuity rate, and their employment rate of the average rate for 2015-2017 is higher than public institutions and private companies, which is in line with the government's employment promotion policy for the disabled. However, article 14 (Support in Taxation) of the 「Act On The Facilitation Of Entrepreneurial Activities Of Persons With Disabilities」 is still declarative and optional. Meanwhile, the corporate income tax reduced by a simulation method was calculated to be about KRW 130.1 billion for 5 years (KRW 26.02 billion per year). In this context, when comparing the tax revenue to be reduced with a positive effect by securing the effectiveness of Article 14, it can be said that the tax support for companies of persons with disabilities is feasible.

Background: General anesthesia is a necessary method for successful dental treatment for children, compromised patients and the disabled who have difficulty in cooperation. The aim of this study was to assess dental treatment under general anesthesia at the department of pediatric dentistry, Ajou university hospital on children and the disabled. Methods: 217 general anesthesia from June 2010 to June 2014 were assessed for this study. Patient's distribution, treatment pattern, reasons for general anesthesia, distribution of combined operation, duration of anesthesia, treatment, frequency of general anesthesia and agents for general anesthesia were examined. Results: The proportion of male, the disabled were higher and above 19 years age group was the highest. Combined operation with otolaryngology was highest. Main reasons for general anesthesia were mental retardation for the disabled and uncooperative behavior for the non-disabled. Percentage of restorative treatment was the highest. Average anesthesia duration was 186 minutes and average treatment time was 143 minutes. Most of the airway was maintained by nasotracheal intubation and induction was done by sevoflurane. Conclusions: General anesthesia for dental treatment has been increasing for children, the disabled who have a difficulty of cooperation. The demand for dental treatment under general anesthesia is expected to continuously increase. Therefore, continuous research and studies should be done to establish efficiency and safety of general anesthesia and provide an enhanced environment for treatment.

This article tried to suggest ways to improve satisfaction of their life, as finding the determinants of the disabled through the cross-section research by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. This article used data from the 2011 investigation of actual condition for the Disabled, which is a representative of the disabled in Korea. For statistical analysis, this paper used PASW statistics 18.0 (SPSS Inc, Chicago, USA). Analysis of frequency, descriptive statistic and multiple regressions were conducted. The level of significance was set up as 0.05. As the result, we found that life satisfaction of the disabled was influenced by all factors such as factor in discrimination, socioeconomic factors, disability and health factor. Therefore, we think that the government needs to prepare a systemic method for extending right of the disabled and improving rehabilitation and independent living.

Purpose: It is necessary to prepare more groundbreaking measures to prevent recurrence in order to reduce the number of industrial accidents in Korea that occur steadily. In particular, since workers with disabilities are much more vulnerable to disaster safety than non-disabled workers, there is a great need to build a customized safety environment system suitable for the characteristics of the work in which workers with disabilities work and to promote management efficiency. Research design, data and methodology: Based on the analysis of the actual status of safety and health management of workplaces for the disabled, such as small, medium-sized and major businesses in Korea, an app was designed and developed to improve safety and health management efficiency of workplaces for the disabled. First, it was designed so that managers of workplaces with disabilities can understand at a glance key legal information that managers need to know and it was improved to suit the eye level of disabled workers so that they could self-evaluate the risk of their work by applying the risk assessment model for workplaces with disabilities. In addition, a mobile education environment was created in which safety and health education contents suitable for the characteristics of disabled workers can be learned by themselves. Results: When this app is applied to domestic workplaces, it is possible to check the exact contents of occupational safety and health education and easily search and check various legal information anytime, anywhere, allowing managers and disabled workers to quickly and efficiently manage various safety information. Conclusions: In addition, the establishment of a mobile safety and health management system that can quickly identify and clearly respond to various legal standards and risks of workplaces with disabilities can be expected to help prevent industrial accidents at workplaces with disabilities in Korea.

Number of disabled persons in Japan that have been registered in 2011 was about 2.5 million people, it is continuously increasing. Given the potential failure considering the aging, to increase more and more. This fault is open, and how to use the facilities, we examined Disabled Facilities DB how to build, how to take advantage. In the development of information technology, the use of technology to increase smartphone, fused evolves, disabled and was able to get the information easily. It is possible to take advantage of this amenities DB, to ensure convenient facilities for handicapped and provide equipment and position information of the user easily by using the audio position.
