  • This article analyses frame transition of personal information leakage in Korea from 1984 to 2014. In order to investigate the transition, we have collected newspaper article's titles. This study adopts classification, text network analysis(by co-occurrence symmetric matrix), and clustering techniques as part of social network analysis. Moreover, we apply definition of centrality in network in order to reveal the main frame formed in each of four periods. As a result, accessibility of personal information is extended from public sector to private sector. The boundary of personal information leakage is expanded to overseas. Therefore it is urgent to institutionalize the protection of personal information from a global perspective.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends of wearable keywords using text mining methodology. To this end, 11,952 newspaper articles were collected from 1992 to 2019, and frequency analysis and bi-gram analysis were applied. The frequency analysis showed that Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, and Apple were extracted as the highest frequency words, and smart watches and smart bands continued to emerge as higher frequency in terms of devices. As a result of the analysis of the bi-gram, it was confirmed that the sequence of two adjacent words such as world-first and world-largest appeared continuously, and related new bi-gram words were derived whenever issues or events occurred. This trend of wearable keywords will be useful for understanding the wearable trend and future direction.

  • As development of personal devices have made everyday use of internet much easier than before, it is getting generalized to find information and share it through the social media. In particular, communities specialized in each field have become so powerful that they can significantly influence our society. Finally, businesses and governments pay attentions to reflecting their opinions in their strategies. The stock market fluctuates with various factors of society. In order to consider social trends, many studies have tried making use of bigdata analysis on stock market researches as well as traditional approaches using buzz amount. In the example at the top, the studies using text data such as newspaper articles are being published. In this paper, we analyzed the post of 'Paxnet', a securities specialists' site, to supplement the limitation of the news. Based on this, we help researchers analyze the sentiment of investors by generating a domain-specific sentiment lexicon for the stock market.

  • This study will examine the relationship between women and art education between the 1910s and the 1930s, and how women broke down the feudalistic views on women by changing the perceptions of women and stepped into society through gendered art education. Women tried to restore dignity and realize freedom and equality between men and women through modern education. Nevertheless, women had to receive handicraft education for the cultivation of virtues as part of the Japanese colonial policy and returned to their traditional feminine role. However, this study aims to reveal how a small number of "new women" who studied in Japan took the lead in teaching handicrafts for the independence of women, and how they were officially recognized as in the arts and crafts community and was able to enter the exhibition space through records, interviews, and newspaper articles. In conclusion, this study hopes to provide an opportunity to examine the relationship between handicraft education and femininity, and to consider the role of art education and exhibition in the development of women into social beings.

  • Porosity paper evidence is encountered in case of forgery, kidnapping, fraud and terrorist activity. The present study was designed to evaluate the effect of three chemical reagents (Ninhydrin, 1,8-diazafluoren-9-one (DFO), Iodine fuming) to the quality of developed latent fingerprints on porosity printing papers and newspaper. In case of printing papers, print quality was better with Iodine fuming method than Ninhydrin and DFO treatment to developing latent fingerprints. Developing latent fingerprint on newspapers was achieved with Iodine fuming processing. The processing of Iodine fuming followed by DFO and by using blue light (orange red filter) exhibited better results with Iodine fuming. Enhancement of latent fingerprint detection image using Digital Imaging System was achieved.

  • This study proposed and evaluated electroencephalography (EEG)-based and eye-tracking-based methods to determine relevance by utilizing users' implicit relevance feedback while navigating content in a digital library. For this, EEG/eye-tracking experiments were conducted on 32 participants using video, image, and text data. To assess the usefulness of the proposed methods, deep learning-based artificial intelligence (AI) techniques were used as a competitive benchmark. The evaluation results showed that EEG component-based methods (av_P600 and f_P3b components) demonstrated high classification accuracy in selecting relevant videos and images (faces/emotions). In contrast, AI-based methods, specifically object recognition and natural language processing, showed high classification accuracy for selecting images (objects) and texts (newspaper articles). Finally, guidelines for implementing a digital library interface based on EEG, eye-tracking, and artificial intelligence technologies have been proposed. Specifically, a system model based on implicit relevance feedback has been presented. Moreover, to enhance classification accuracy, methods suitable for each media type have been suggested, including EEG-based, eye-tracking-based, and AI-based approaches.

Total of 24 Q-sample (statements) were sorted by 27 P-sample (journalists) who were selected by their gender, years of service, and the like. The Quanl program finally produced 3 factors that were interpreted and named as follows: Factor I, the Complimentary Journalism, the civic journalism would fulfill the functions that traditional journalism has neglected. Factor II, the Alternative Journalism inducing the citizen's participation in the public areas. Factor III, the Functional Journalism, emphasizing dysfunction of the civic journalism.
