Development of the Semi-Active Controlled Variable Damper System for Passenger Vehicles (승용차용 반능동형 가변댐퍼 시스템의 개발)

  • A control algorithm for multi-stage dampers is developed based on the mode skyhook control concept, and implemented on the full vehicle system environment. The test vehicle system is equipped with the real time controller, four-stage variable dampers and sensors. The real time controller is developed using a digital signal processor(DSP), digital I/O, A/D and D/A converters. The dampers are driven by the electromagnetic actuators of less than 20 msec response time. The sensors include accelerometers, relative displacement transducers, and steering wheel rate sensors, etc. Through a series of tests in laboratory and proving ground, the performance of the semi-active suspension system is evaluated and it is shown that the vehicle dynamic characteristics is improved with the developed damping system. Futhermore, the parameter tuning methods to enhance vehicle dynamic performance are propsoed.

  • This study divides organizational citizenship behaviors into two dimensions, organizational and individual, in order to clarify the out-role behaviors of organizational members more specifically. In addition, we selected Empowering leadership as an input factor that can lead to organizational citizenship behavior and examined the mediating role of trust. To accomplish this purpose, the authors conducted a survey of employees in manufacturing companies in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region and the hypothesis was verified through structural equations model. The results of the study are as follows. Empowering leadership has a significant positive impact on OCB-O and OCB-I. Also, Trust has been found to partial mediate effect the relationship between empowering leadership and OCB_O and OCB_I. The results of this study will be specific guidelines for inducing organizational citizenship behavior in organizations, and will further expand the scope of research into organizational citizenship behavior.

  • Recently, Big Data issue has become a buzzword and universities, industries and research institutes have been efforts to collect, analyze various data enabled. These things includes accumulated data from the past, even if it is not possible to analysis at this present immediately a which has the potential means. And we are obtained a valuable result from the collected a large amount of data via the semantic analysis. The demand for high-performance storage system that can handle large amounts of data required is increasing around the world. In addition, it must provide a distributed parallel file system that stability to multiple users too perform a variety of analyzes at the same time by connecting a large amount of the accumulated data In this study, we identify the I/O bandwidth of the storage system to be considered, and performance of the metadata in order to provide a file system in stability and propose a method for configuring the optimal environment.

Design of Industrial Communication Gateway Using Additive Layer Type Communication Module (적층형 통신 모듈을 이용한 산업용 통신 게이트웨이 설계)

  • There are various networks and communication methods are used in industrial communication. Enterprises need to convert communications between industrial devices and networks for production line expansion, factory upgrades, network segmentation, and SI. This requires designers manufactured by many manufacturers to provide communication equipment for data or protocol conversion in order to connect and transmit various other mechanical devices to the network. This paper designed industrial communication gateway that can support the transformation of industrial communication protocol using multi-layered communication module. Industrial communication gateways have a structure that connects individual communication modules using RS485 communication to multiple layers. Each communication module consisted of analog and digital data card, LAN, and CAN-enabled card. The main board processor used Atmega micro-processor, and the RS485 slot was placed to have a multi-layer communication module structure. These additive layer type communication modules support analog and digital I/O functions and LAN and CAN for wide use in industrial communication control and monitoring.

Effect of exposure energy dose on lateral resolution and flexural strength of three-dimensionally printed dental zirconia

  • PURPOSE. This study aims to evaluate the effects of exposure energy on the lateral resolution and mechanical strength of dental zirconia manufactured using digital light processing (DLP). MATERIALS AND METHODS. A zirconia suspension and a custom top-down DLP printer were used for in-office manufacturing. The viscosity of the suspension and uniformity of the exposed light intensity were controlled. Based on the exposure energy dose delivered to each layer, the specimens were classified into three groups: low-energy (LE), medium-energy (ME), and high-energy (HE). For each energy group, a simplified molar cube was used to measure the widths of the outline (Xo and Yo) and isthmus (Xi and Yi), and a bar-shaped specimen of the sintered body was tested. A Kruskal-Wallis test for the lateral resolution and one-way analysis of variance for the mechanical strength were performed (α = .05). RESULTS. The zirconia green bodies of the ME group showed better lateral resolution than those of the LE and HE groups (both P < .001). Regarding the flexural strength of the sintered bodies, the ME group had the highest mean value, whereas the LE group had the lowest mean value (both P < .05). The ME group exhibited fewer agglomerates than the LE group, with no distinctive interlayer pores or surface defects. CONCLUSION. Based on these findings, the lateral resolution of the green body and flexural strength of the sintered body of dental zirconia could be affected by the exposure energy dose during DLP. The exposure energy should be optimized when fabricating DLP-based dental zirconia.

  • The purpose of this study is suggest the guideline by analyzing and categorizing the case of trends of Beacon technological development and Beacon-Based service in culture and art space of domestic and overseas. I did some literature research followed with theoretical background of beacon service, also did case study of beacon service application in domestic and overseas culture space. The result indicate that beacon technology can provide a variety services in a wide space. Through domestic and overseas case studies, it was found that beacon service in domestic exhibition space should be given as experience-oriented services beyond benefit-oriented services. As this point of time, this study will become a good resource for various communication services through beacon service in Korea.

  • This research analyzed 'esquisse', that is one of among the visual representation tools of designers in design-thinking process. They were classified into five different types(M, N, O, P, Q) and categorized about preferred type of brain dominance area based on Ned Herrmann's 'Brain 4 division theory'. By contrasting and analyzing five types of sketch tendencies and brain tendencies through Structural left -brain type(M), Emotional limbic-brain type(N), Visual right-brain type(O), Plane expressional right-brain type(P) and Text expressional right-brain type(Q), it was deduced that which utilization the designer with each brain type with various Styles and characteristics shows internally in the design thinking process can be analyzed.

  • The article seeks to explore Ukrainian media art and its features in a global context. In particular, it performs an in-depth analysis of the stages of its development from video art of the 1990s, media installations of the 2000s, and to various digital and VR technologies today. Due to historical circumstances, the development of media art was quite rapid, as young artists sought to gain new experience in media art. Most often, their experience was broadened through international cooperation and studying abroad. The paper analyzes the presentation of Ukrainian media art outside the country during 1993-2020 and distinguishes the main thematic areas of the artists' work. It examines how artists present and reveal the peculiarities of the Ukrainian worldview, aesthetics, and culture through the problematization of certain aspects and themes in their work. Specifically, among the principal topics which are problematized in the work of media artists are a sensory experience, limited sensory capabilities, gender issues, the Chernobyl tragedy, the development of utopian models of the city, and global communication. The leading themes of Ukrainian artists also include revolution and war. Notably, political and social sentiments determine the unique energy and vitality of contemporary Ukrainian art, create a revolutionary creative environment, and unite media artists in group art projects. It is concluded that by showing, exhibiting, and presenting them outside the country, artists shape the image of Ukrainian art in a global context.

상부 Au 전극 면적 Size에 따른 PbI2 필름의 전기적 특성 평가

  • 의료용 X-ray는 과거 analog 방식과, 연구가 진행 중이며 현재 많이 사용되고 있는 digital 방식으로 나누어진다. 최근, 광도전체와 형광체 기반의 flat panel X-ray detector의 발전에 따른 상용화가 이루어지고 있으며, 많은 발전 가능성이 제기되고 있다. flat panel X-ray detector 검출방식은 direct method (직접 방식)와 indirect method (간접 방식)로 나누어진다. 본 연구는 일반적으로 상용화 되어있는 amorphous seleinum (비정질 셀레늄)의 큰 일함수에 의한 저 해상력이라는 단점을 보완하기 위해, 작은 일함수를 가지는 물질을 사용하여, 영상을 얻을 시에 높은 해상력으로 표현할 수 있도록 하고, 원자번호가 높은 물질을 사용하여 X-ray 흡수율을 높일 수 있도록 기존 direct method에 많이 사용되고 있는 amorphous seleinum 기반 digital X-ray detector가 아닌, 이러한 장점을 충족시킬 수 있는 PbI2 물질 층을 사용하여 시편을 제작 하였다. PbI2를 같은 두께로 올린 후, 물질 층 상부에 Au 전극 면적을 다른 size로 제작한 시편으로 X-ray에 노출 시켰다. 이는 상부 전극 size 차이에 따른 신호 차이를 측정하여 전기적 특성을 평가하기 위한 것이다. 전도성을 띠고 있는 ITO (Indium - Tin - Oxide) glass를 이용하여 screen printing 방법으로 제작하였다. PbI2층을 약 160~180 um두께, $3cm{\times}3cm$ size로 5개 제작하였으며, 상부 전극으로는 Au를 진공 증착 시켰다. 상부 전극 size는 각각 시편 5개에 $0.5cm{\times}0.5cm$, $1cm{\times}1cm$, $1.5cm{\times}1.5cm$, $2cm{\times}2cm$, $2.5cm{\times}2.5cm$로 PbI2 물질 층 중앙에 증착 시켰다. 이러한 설정으로 X-ray 노출 시 관찰할 수 있는 PbI2의 전기적인 특성을 평가할 수 있었다. 관전압을 40 kVp, 60 kVp, 80 kVp, 100 kVp, 120 kVp, 140 kVp로 설정하고, 관전류는 100 mA로 설정하였으며, Dark current, Sensitivity를 측정하였다. Dark current와 Sensitivity를 측정한 뒤, 그 값을 이용하여 SNR (신호 대 잡음 비)값을 구해보았다.실험 결과 단위면적당 signal과 SNR을 분석할 수 있었다. 80 kVp로 기준을 잡고 결과 값을 보면 $0.5cm{\times}0.5cm$ 시편에서 2.92 nC/cm2, $2.5cm{\times}2.5cm$ 시편에서 0.84 nC/cm2로 상부 전극 크기가 작을수록 더 좋은 신호를 측정할 수 있었다. 똑같은 기준에서 SNR을 계산 해 보았을 때, $0.5cm{\times}0.5cm$ 시편에서 6.46, $2.5cm{\times}2.5cm$ 시편에서 1.91로 SNR역시 상부 전극 크기가 작을수록 더 큰 값을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 edge-effect의 영향으로 인해 나온 결과라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 실험 결과, detector 제작 시, 같은 물질을 사용하여 더 높은 효율을 내기 위해서는 큰 size의 상부 전극 보다는 작은 size의 상부 전극을 증착 시키는 것이 전기적 특성을 더욱 효율적으로 평가할 수 있을 것이라고 사료된다.

Study on the effect of DSSC(Dye Sensitizer Solar Cell) Material on the electrical properties of Mercuric Iodide (염료감응형태양열 물질이 요오드화수은의 전기적 특성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • As a photoconductive material with a high X-ray sensitivity, many researches about mercury iodide has been carried out to substitute for amorphous selenium. However, it has many limitations in commercialization because of the high leakage current. In this study, we fabricated $HgI_2$ unit-cells with mixed silicon oxide($SiO_2$) and titanium oxide($TiO_2$) to reduce a high leakage current and we evaluated an electrical properties of the fabricated unit-cells. As a result, we confirmed that both mixtures were effective in reduing the leakage current of the $HgI_2$ and x-ray sensitivity were significantly increased in fabricated $HgI_2-TiO_2$ unit-cell.
