  • In this study, we analyze the case of Moon Jae-In's government based on the specific public enterprises. The public companies that were the subject of the study were evaluated as having done a good job of open innovation through open innovation evaluation. In this study, we analyzed the success factors of open innovation through collaborative in - depth interviews with public corporations, public agencies and local farmers. First, it was important to share goals to form a consensus to seek cooperation among the cooperative actors. It is very important to recognize that each other has a mutually beneficial relationship and move toward a common goal. In addition, it was found that the incentive system for continuously participating in collaborations or innovations is very important. Therefore, in order to encourage collaboration, it is necessary for public institutions to establish an incentive system such as personnel compensation or economic compensation.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of the start-ups' quality management system implementation on differentiated competitive advantage and management performance, and to verify the effect of the moderating effect of company size between the quality management system implementation and differentiated competitive advantage. A questionnaire was conducted for start-ups and 259 samples were analyzed using SmartPLS 2.0. First, it was found that leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation, and improvement have a positive effect on differentiated competitive advantage, and contexts of organization does not have a positive effect. Second, differentiated competitive advantage has a positive effect on financial and non-financial performance. Third, company size has a moderating effect in the relationship between leadership, support, operation, improvement and competitive advantage. The results of the study can be interpreted that the quality management system improves the quality of start-ups and has a positive effect on management performance. In addition, it implies that the organizational situation and the size of the company should be considered when implementing the quality management system.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that the festival image has on the festival satisfaction of visitors, and the effect of festival satisfaction has on the degree of visitors' behavior. In order to accomplish this research purpose, this study collected data of 233 visitors. Regression analysis was conducted in order to achieve the causal relationship between each variables. The result of data analysis revealed that the factors of festival image suitability, convenience, and entertainment had a positive (+) effect on satisfaction. And, satisfaction was verified to have a positive effect on behavioral intention. Therefore, these results implied that this study will contribute to the revitalization of festivals by both discovering images based on unique historical characteristics and presenting them as utilization plans. Especially, it is necessary to find unique contents with history, representative programs by age, and stories related to historical figures. Further validation studies are necessary to ascertain this fact utilizing the image value factors that have negative influences.

  • This paper performed an experimental study to test the validity of the prospect theory proposed by Tversky and Kahneman as an alternative to the expected utility theory. 115 college students attended the hypothetical games to choose one of two lotteries, one is safe option while the other one is risky. The risky options were set up to have low, medium or high probability of payoffs or losses. The amount of payoffs and losses of the lotteries was either large or small. Maximum likelihood estimation of the hypothetical games have shown that in case of high probability of positive payoffs the respondents were risk averse and when the probability of positive payoffs were small the respondents were risk loving. when the possibility of loss is high they were risk loving, while the probability is of loss is low the respondents were found to be risk averse. When the probability of risky options were medium the results were significant statistically in case of only losses. The amount of positive payoff or losses does not affect the results. Overall the results of this experiments support the prospect theory more than those of Laury & Holts (2008).

  • China is the largest e-commerce market in the world. The Chinese online retail market is almost 40% larger than the US, and together these markets account for more than 55% of worldwide e-commerce. The Korea China FTA is likely to facilitate e-commerce activity between the two countries, as well as trade in the goods and services that enable e-commerce. Korean consumer goods can enjoy the benefits of the FTA because it has a competitive advantage in the Chinese market in terms of technology and quality. The purpose of this study is to examine legal issues of e-commerce chapters of the Korea China FTA and policy implications. Results of the study show that several implications based on the export vitalization of cross-border e-commerce of Korean products are offered. • This study focused on appreciative inquiry(AI) of salespeople who have to respond to various types of emotions according to the desires of individual customers at service contact points and the effect of emotional labor on adaptive selling behavior and customer satisfaction. Dyadic questionnaires were administerd to 115 automobile salespeople and 2 customers who received service from each salesperson, and the collected data was analyzed by using structural equation modeling. The results showed that AI had positive influences on deep acting and surface acting. Only deep acting was found to have positive relationship with adaptive selling behavior, but not to surface acting. Adaptive selling behavior had a positive effect on customer satisfaction. This study will contribute to identifying the need for AI access for salespersons and for activating adaptive selling behavior through emotional labor related to AI practice.

  • Convergence-based Smart Work in Korea started from 2010 with a purpose to improve work-life balance. Up to now the previous research on Smart Work has been studied in the context of the pre-adoption or the adoption stage, and shows some limitations not finding out the effort to manage change, the issues occurred in the process of adopting Smart Work, and the performance after adopting Smart Work. The period after adoption is when users continue to use ICT and intended objectives can be accomplished. Therefore, this study investigated the process that the organizations adopting Smart Work have overcome spatial and temporal constraints and the performance that they have achieved after adopting it. Though the framework integrating time-geography theory with technology acceptance stage, this research interviewed four managers of three organizations being responsible for adopting and operating Smart Work and provided its adopting process and performance of each organization.

  • In this study, text mining and main path analysis (MPA) were applied to understand the origins and development paths of research areas that make up the mainstream of Korean studies. To this end, a quantitative analysis was attempted based on digital texts rather than the traditional humanities research methodology, and the main paths of Korean studies were extracted by collecting documents related to Korean studies including citation information using a citation database, and establishing a direct citation network. As a result of the main path analysis, two main path clusters (Korean ancient agricultural culture (history, culture, archeology) and Korean acquisition of English (linguistics)) were found in the key-route search for the Humanities field of Korean studies. In the field of Korean Studies Humanities and Social Sciences, four main path clusters were discovered: (1) Korea regional/spatial development, (2) Korean economic development (Economic aid/Soft power), (3) Korean industry (Political economics), and (4) population of Korea (Sex selection) & North Korean economy (Poverty, South-South cooperation).

  • This study explore how framing affects the consumer's attitude toward the bundle products. On the basis of the framing theory, response compatibility hypothesis and regulatory focus theory, this study examine the impact of framing on the consumer's choice in multi-alternative set and analyzes the manner in which he/she selects or rejects an alternative. The data obtained from experiment shows that : 1. Consumers focus on the positive attributes of in selection task, however, in rejection task he/she will focus on negative attributes. 2. Consumers are not influenced by prevention framing when he/she selects an alternative however, he/she is not influenced by promotion framing when reject an alternative. Understanding the underlying cognitive process of choosing abd rejecting in multiple alernatives can help marketers to create effective framing strategies for the bundle product.
