유기물-무기물 용액법을 이용한 지르코니아-알루미나 복합체의 제조 및 특성 (Fabrication and Characterization of Zirconia-Alumina Composites by Organic-Inorganic Solution Technique)

  • Zirconia-alumina 고분자 전구체가 유기물-무기물 용액 방법으로 zirconium acetylacetonate (ZA), aluminium nitrate (AN), polyethylene glycol (PEG), 그리고 에탄올을 이용하여 제조되었다. 고분자 전구체의 열적 특성 및 점도를 시차주사열용량분석기(DSC), 열중량분석기(TGA), 그리고 동적유변측정기를 이용하여 측정하였다. 부피 팽창을 동반하는 강렬한 발열반응이 $140^{\circ}C$에서 일어났다. 고분자 전구체의 부피팽창은 금속물질중에 유기물의 분해반응과 금속양이온과 PEG 사이의 반응에 의한 것이다. 이들 분해반응과 금속양이온과 PEG 사이의 반응에 대한 여부를 적외선분광기(FT-IR)와 $^{13}C$ solid-NMR 결과로부터 확인하였다. 고분자 전구체의 온도가 증가함에 따라 N-O, O-H, 그리고 C=C에서의 피이크 강도가 감소하였다. 이 결과는 강렬한 발열반응시 금속 물질의 분해반응과 PEG와 금속양이온의 반응이 일어났음을 나타내는 것이다. 다공성 파우더는 $800^{\circ}C$에서 2 h 동안 소결과정을 거쳐 결정성 $ZrO_2-Al_2O_3$ 복합체가 되었다.

효소적 Acyl migration을 이용한 비대칭형 재구성지질(1,2-disaturated-3-unsaturated glycerol)의 합성 및 분석 (Enzymatic synthesis of asymmetric structured lipids containing 1,2-disaturated-3-unsaturated glycerol using acyl migration)

  • The enzymatic interesterification was performed to produce structured lipids (SLs) with palm mid fraction (PMF) and stearic ethyl ester (STEE) for 1, 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15 hr at $80^{\circ}C$. The reaction was catalyzed by Lipozyme TLIM (immobilized lipase from Thermomyces lanuginosus, amount of 20% by weight of total substrates) in a shaking water bath set at 180 rpm. The optimum condition for synthesis of asymmetric SLs were: substrate molar ratio 1:0.5 (PMF:STEE, by weight), reaction time 6 hr, enzyme 20% (wt%, water activity=0.085) of total substrate and reaction temperature $80^{\circ}C$. After reaction at optimized condition, triacylglycerols (symmetrical and asymmetrical TAGs) from reactants were isolated. POP/PPO (1,3-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl glycerol or 1,2-palmitoyl-3-oleoyl glycerol), POS/PSO (palmitoyl-oleoyl-stearoyl glycerol or palmitoyl-stearoyl-oleoyl glycerol), SOS/SSO (1,3-stearoyl-2-oleoyl glycerol or 1,2-stearoyl-3-oleoyl glycerol) were obtained by solvent fractionation. Finally, refined SLs contained stearic acid of 16.91%. Solid fat index and thermogram of the refined SLs were obtained using differential scanning calorimetry. The degree of asymmetric triacylglycerol in the refined SLs was analyzed by Ag-HPLC equipped with evaporated light scattering detector (ELSD). The refined SLs consisted of symmetric TAG of 41.15 area% and asymmetric TAG of 58.85 area%.

Mercaptan 경화제에 의한 저온속경화 에폭시의 경화거동에 관한 연구 (Study on Cure Behavior of Low Temperature and Fast Cure Epoxy with Mercaptan Hardener)

  • 본 연구에서는 DGEBA(diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A)를 사용한 에폭시/mercaptan 경화제의 경화 반응 거동을 에폭시/아민 유도체형 경화제와 비교하여 연구하였다. 경화 반응 거동은 DSC 분석에 의해 승온 및 등온의 조건에서 경화되는 과정을 연구하였다. DSC의 승온 실험에서는 Kissinger 법을 이용하였으며, 등온 실험에서는 Kamal의 속도모델을 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과적으로 활성화 에너지는 아민 유도체형 경화제를 사용하였을 때 약 40 kcal/mol이고, mercaptan 경화제를 사용하였을 때 약 28에서 19 kcal/mol로 -SH 관능기가 증가할수록 감소하였다. 에폭시/아민 유도체형 경화제는 약 $90^{\circ}C$ 이상에서 경화 반응이 개시되는 반면, 에폭시/mercaptan 경화제에서는 경화 반응 개시 온도가 약 $80^{\circ}C$ 이내로 낮아지고, 반응 속도가 상승하여 반응 시간이 10분 이내로 단축되었다. 또한 에폭시/mercaptan 경화제계는 자기 촉매 반응 모델을 따르는 것을 확인하였고 약 20~40%의 경화도에서 최대 반응속도를 나타내었다.

Prevalence of Bordetella bronchiseptica, Mycoplasma felis, and Chlamydia felis using a newly developed triplex real-time polymerase chain reaction assay in Korean cat population

  • Bordetella (B.) bronchiseptica, Mycoplasma (M.) felis, and Chlamydia (C.) felis are considered as main bacterial pathogens of feline upper respiratory tract disease (URTD). In this study, a new triplex quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (tqPCR) assay was developed for the rapid and differential detection of these bacteria in a single reaction. The assay specifically amplified three bacterial genes with the detection limit of below 10 copies/reaction. The assay showed high repeatability and reproducibility, with coefficients of intra-assay and inter-assay variation of less than 1%. Based on the diagnostic results of the assay using 94 clinical samples obtained from cats with URTD signs, prevalence of B. bronchiseptica, M. felis, or C. felis was 10.6%, 36.2%, or 6.4%, respectively, indicating that the diagnostic sensitivity was comparable to those of previously reported monoplex qPCR assays. The dual infection rates for B. bronchiseptica and M. felis or M. felis and C. felis was 2.1% or 3.2%, respectively. These results indicated that M. felis has been widely spread, and its co-infection with B. bronchiseptica or M. felis has been frequently occurred in Korean cat population. The developed tqPCR assay will serve as a promising tool for etiological and epidemiological studies of these three bacterial pathogens and the prevalence data obtained in this study will contribute to expanding knowledge about the epidemiology of feline URTD in Korea.

IN VITRO STUDY ON EXOTHERMIC REACTION OF POLYMER-BASED PROVISIONAL CROWN AND FIXED PARTIAL DENTURE MATERIALS MEASURED BY DIFFERENTIAL SCANNING CALORIMETRY

  • Statement of problems. The heat produced during polymerization of polymer-based provisional materials may cause thermal damage to the vital pulp. Purpose. This study was performed to evaluate the exotherm reaction of the polymerbased provisional materials during polymerization by differential scanning calorimetry and to compare the temperature changes of different types of resins. Material and methods. Three dimethacrylate-based materials (Protemp 3 Garant, Luxatemp Plus, Luxatemp Fluorescence) and five monomethacrylate- based material (Snap, Alike, Unifast TRAD, Duralay, Jet) were selected. Temperature changes of polymer-based provisional materials during polymerization in this study were evaluated by D.S.C Q-1000 (TA Instrument, Wilmington, DE, USA). The following three measurements were determined from the temperature versus time plot: (1) peak temperature, (2) time to reach peak temperature, (3) heat capacity. The data were statistically analyzed using one-way ANOVA and multiple comparison Bonferroni test at the significance level of 0.05. Results. The mean peak temperature was $39.5^{\circ}C({\pm}\;1.0)$. The peak temperature of the polymer-based provisional materials decreased in the following order: Duralay > Unifast TRAD, Alike > Jet > Luxatemp Plus, Protemp 3 Garant, Snap, Luxatemp Fluorescence. The mean time to reach peak temperature was 95.95 sec $({\pm}\;64.0)$. The mean time to reach peak temperature of the polymer-based provisional materials decreased in the following order: Snap, Jet > Duralay > Alike > Unifast TRAD > Luxatemp Plus, Protemp 3 Garant, Luxatemp Fluorescence. The mean heat capacity was 287.2 J/g $({\pm}\;107.68)$. The heat capacity of the polymer-based provisional materials decreased in the following order: Duralay > TRAD, Jet, Alike > Snap, Luxatemp Fluorescence, Protemp 3 Garant, Luxatemp Plus. Conclusion. The heat capacity of materials, determined by D.S.C., is a factor in determining the thermal insulating properties of restorative materials. The peak temperature of PMMA was significantly higher than others (PEMA, dimethacrylate). No significant differences were found among PEMA (Snap) and dimethacrylate (P >0.05). The time to reach peak temperature was greatest with PEMA, followed by PMMA and dimethacrylate. The heat capacity of PMMA was significantly higher than others (PEMA, dimethacrylate). No significant differences were found among PEMA and dimethacrylate (P >0.05).

LiMn2O4의 Mn용출 현상 연구를 위한 전기화학적 Mn(II) 정량 분석법 (Electrochemical Quantitative Analysis of Mn(II) for the Study of Mn-Dissolution Behavior of LiMn2O4)

  • [ $LiMn_2O_4$ ] $Mn^{2+}$이온 용출현상 연구를 위한 간단하고 신속한 전기화학적 $Mn^{2+}$이온 분석법을 정립하였다. 이 분석법은 완충용액에서 $Mn^{2+}$이온이 $Mn^{4+}(MnO_2)$로 산화되는 원리를 이용한다. 최적조건 (pH 8.9 0.04 M $NH_3-NH_4Cl$ 완충용액 및 glassy carbon 작업전극)에서, Linear sweep voltammetry(LSV) 측정에 대해 $5{\mu}M-100{\mu}M$ (0.275-5.5 ppm) $Mn^{2+}$이온 범위에서, differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) 측정에 대해 $0.2{\mu}M-10{\mu}M$ (0.011-0.55 ppm) 범위에서 선형적 응답 특성을 확인하였다. 또한, 측정용액에 리튬 이차전지용 전해액 ($LiPF_6$, EC, EMC)이 첨가할 경우, 첨가량에 비례하여 $Mn^{2+}$ 이온의 산화 전류 감소하였는데, 이러한 감소의 주요 원인은 EMC보다는 $LiPF_6$와 EC성분임을 확인하였다.

Candidate Genes with Ovulation by Differential Display PCR in Small Tail Han Sheep

  • To find the candidate genes concerned with ovulation rate of sheep, Differential Display Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction was employed to find the differently expressed cDNA controlling ovulation in the Small Tail Han sheep of polyembryony and in Tan sheep of single birth. Twenty-four primer pairs of three anchored primers and eight arbitrary primers were assembled to amplify the specialized bands from these sheep. Positive cross tests were applied to optimize the ascertainable PCR conditions in which different special bands can be identified by silver strain in one PCR tube. After eliminating the false positive PCR products by Northern hybridization, 24 differential display bands were acquired from the ovary in the Small Tail Han sheep. These EST bands were sequenced and 18 different ESTs were found in which five ESTs had several copies and 13 ESTs had only one copy. Comparing these ESTs with homologous sequences by BLAST in the GenBank, there were six ESTs with known open reading frame (ORF) and function, three ESTs with known ORF and no function, and 9 ESTs without homologous sequence. These ESTs partly represent several genes such as NOS2, tensin, TCRA, CDKN1A, ESR1 and ACTB which express especially in Small Tail Han sheep.

도로경관의 시각적 특성 및 선호도에 관한 연구 -청주시 주진입로를 대상으로- (A Study on the Visual Character and Preference of Roadscape -In Case of the Main Entrance Road in Chongju-)

  • The purpose of this study was to figure out visual character and preference of roadscape for the main entrance road in Chongju. We took 9.6km which was from the Chongju interchange of Kyungbu expressway to Sangdang park and was thought to have a peculiar characteristics. This main entrance road was seperated into 4 parts according to arranging patterns of roadside trees and buildings. To investigate the visual characters, the sementic differential scale experiment was used. The visual characters, the sementic differential scale experiment was used. The visual preference was examined by analyzing visual volume of 4 factors. The results of the study based on these analyses were as below : 1. Factors that compose the visual characters of roadscape were classified by the emotional factor, the individual factor and the physical factor. These 3 factors showed a64.14% total variance. Among 3 factors the emotional factor which represented psychological reaction was appreciated to be the highest and the physical factor was assessed to be the lowest. 2. 24 items in total 14 adjectives showed the following ranking of mean values in sementic differential experiment : Road I -->RoadIII-->RoadII-->RoadIV. The mean values between Road I and RoadIV showed a significant difference, which can be explained to be a contrast between the natural factor and the artificial factor. 3. The mean value of the visual preference was the highest at Road I and the lowest at Road IV. While Road II and Road III showed 3.51 and 4.71, respectively. 4. The effect of 4 factors on visual preference was analyzed by regression as follows : Visual preference =1.2983+0.0627 + 0.0230+0.0203, R-Square=0.5

학습자 수준에 맞는 차별적 콘텐츠 구성 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of the Differential Contents Organization System based on Each Learner's Level)

  • 많은 학습시스템이 학습효율을 높이기 위해 자기 주도적 학습을 적용하고 있다. 동일한 수준의 학습자라 할지라도 학습 내용을 이해하는 정도는 서로 다를 수 있다. 따라서 제공된 콘텐츠를 이해하기 어려움에도 불구하고 정해진 난이도와 학습과정에 따라 획일적으로 학습이 진행되는 방법은 효율적인 학습효과를 나타내기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 런타임시 변화된 학습자의 수준에 적합한 학습 콘텐츠를 재구성할 수 있도록 SCORM의 기능을 확장하고, 이 확장된 SCORM을 기반으로 DCOS(Differential Contents Organization System)을 설계 및 구현하였다. DCOS는 학습자의 수준에 적합한 학습 콘텐츠를 효율적으로 재구성하기 위하여, 학습자의 수준 이외에 학습 콘텐츠의 구성단위인 학습객체 간의 관련성 및 학습 목표 달성 정도를 기반으로 콘텐츠를 재구성하도록 하였다. 각 30명의 학생이 기존 시스템과 DCOS에서 학습한 결과, DCOS에서 학습한 학습자들의 평균점수와 시스템 만족도가 전체적으로 높은 것을 알 수 있었다.

DSC를 이용한 고에너지 물질의 반응속도식 추출과 활용 (Kinetic Analysis of Energetic Materials Using Differential Scanning Calorimetry)

  • DSC 실험 데이터를 이용하여 고에너지 물질의 반응속도식을 추출해내는 이론적 방법을 제안하고 알루미늄 고함유 화약(RDX/HTPB/Al)에 대한 반응속도식 추출을 수행하였다. DSC 실험 결과는 Friedman 등전환법으로 분석되며 AKTS software를 사용하였다. 질량분율에 따른 활성화에너지와 빈도인자를 추출해 내어 반응속도식을 완성하였다. 추출된 반응속도식은 기존의 ODTX 실험을 통해 추출되는 화학반응속도식 형태에 비해 이론적 측면과 정확성 측면에서 상당한 장점을 갖는다. 추출된 반응속도식의 검증을 위해 화학반응률 그리고 생성물 질량분율에 대해 DSC 실험과 동일한 조건하에서 전산모사를 수행하였으며 실험값과 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 또한 붕소 질산칼륨($B/KNO_3$)에 대한 완속가열 전산모사를 수행하였으며 실험결과와 비교하여 DSC 반응속도식의 전산모사에의 적용가능성을 확인하였다.
