  • The purpose of this study is development of the diagnosis system to preventative maintenance in the on-board measuring systems for in-cab electric inspection systems of high speed railway. The on-board measuring systems can inspect precisely whether ground signal system operate stably. In this paper, we recognize characteristics of the track circuits and confirm whether the wave of current matches the on-board measuring data through the electric modeling method for high speed railway. it is necessary to develop GUI visual programs that can simulate abnormalities of the on-board measuring data in many ways, and the visual program is designed to diagnosis in the case of track circuit equipment's function decreased in advance.

유도전동기 베어링의 원거리 실시간 결함진단시스템 개발 (Web-based Real Time Failure Diagnosis System Development for Induction Motor Bearing)

  • The industrial induction motor is widely used in the rotating electrical machine for the transmission of power. It is very reliable equipment, but it could lead to the loss of production and lift when failure occurs. Therefore, the failure data is acquired and analyzed by attaching an exclusive instrument to existing induction motor. However, these instruments could lead to side effects, increasing the production costs, because they are very expensive. The purpose of this study is the development of an induction motor bearing failure diagnosis system constructed using LabVIEW which can be supplied the kernelled function, process monitoring and current signature analysis. In addition, the availability and reasonability of the constructed system was examined for an induction motor with failure defects in outer raceway and ball bearing. From the results, it shows that failure diagnosis system constructed is useful for real-time monitoring with detection of bearing defects over the web.

  • This paper discusses the design of 32Mbyte asynchronous nonvolatile memory modules, which includes self-diagnosis and RTC (Real Time Clock) functions to enhance their data stability and reliability. Nonvolatile memory modules can maintain data even in a power-off state, thereby improving the stability and reliability of a system or device. However, due to the possibility of data error due to electrical or physical reasons, additional data loss prevention methods are required. To minimize data error in asynchronous nonvolatile memory modules, this paper proposes the use of voltage monitoring circuits, self-diagnosis, BBT (Bad Block Table), ECC (Error Correction Code), CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check)32, and data check sum, data recording method using RTC. Prototypes have been produced to confirm correct operation and suggest the possibility of commercialization.

치매, 경도인지장애, 허혈성 뇌졸중 환자에서 인지기능, 우울 및 일상생활수행능력의 변화 비교 (A Comparative Study of Changes in Cognitive Function, Depression and Activities of Daily Living in Patients with Dementia, Mild Cognitive Impairment and Ischemic Stroke)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 치매, 경도인지장애, 허혈성 뇌졸중 환자의 인지기능, 우울과 일상생활수행능력의 변화를 비교하고 도구적 일상생활수행능력의 변화를 설명하는 요인을 확인하기 위함이다. 총 86명(치매=30명, 경도인지장애=32명, 허혈성 뇌졸중=24명)으로부터 진단 시점과 1년 뒤에 인지기능, 우울, 기본적 및 도구적 일상생활수행능력 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 반복측정분산분석과 다중회귀분석을 이용하였다. 집행기능(p=.037)과 도구적 일상생활수행능력(p=.023)에서 측정 시점에 따른 집단 간 교호작용이 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 경도인지장애 집단은 진단 후 1년 동안 집행기능과 도구적 일상생활수행능력의 변화가 거의 없었으나, 시간이 지남에 따라 치매 집단에서는 감소하는 양상이 나타났고 허혈성 뇌졸중 집단에서는 향상되는 양상을 나타냈다. 또한, 집행기능이 저하될수록(p=.030), 기본적 일상생활수행능력이 저하될수록(p<.001) 도구적 일상생활수행능력도 저하되는 것으로 확인되었으며 설명력은 26.9%였다. 이러한 결과는 인지변화를 주요 증상으로 가지는 치매, 경도인지장애, 허혈성 뇌졸중 환자에서 진단 후 1년까지 질병의 초기 단계에 각기 다른 집행기능 변화 양상이 나타났으며, 이로 인해 도구적 일상생활수행능력 변화 양상이 다른 것으로 보인다. 보건의료전문가는 진단 직후부터 집행기능과 도구적 일상생활수행능력 문제를 정기적으로 평가하고 이와 관련된 기능 상태를 유지 및 증진하기 위한 중재를 제공해야 할 것이다.

  • 각종 성인병과 난치성질환인 뇌졸중과 치매, 중풍의 원인으로는 혈액순환장해에 의한 고혈압과 두부혈압의 상승이 주된 요인으로 작용하고 있다. MRI , X-ray 같은 의료장비는 뇌졸중이나 중풍 등의 발병전 예방보다는 발병후의 치료를 위한 목적으로 이용되고 있다. 최근에는 이러한 난치성 질환이 정상인에서도 발생하고 있어서, 상완혈압에 의한 진단보다는 뇌혈류 상태를 반영하는 두부혈압을 진단하는 것이 더 정확한 임상진단을 할 수 있다 그러나 기존 혈압계나 전자혈압계로는 두부혈압을 측정하거나 개선할 수 있는 기능을 수행할 수 없다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 혈압과 두부혈압을 쉽고 간편하게 측정하고, 상완혈압에 대한 두부 혈압의 상관성을 추출하여 뇌혈류 상태 및 건강상태를 조기 진단/예방할 수 있는 시스템 및 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 임상실험 결과, 기존의 혈압계보다 측정오차가 작고 재현성이 우수하여 신뢰성을 확인하였고 ,두부혈압의 최고압은 상완 최고압의 62%, 최저혈압은 상완 최저혈압의 46%에 해당하는 상관성을 확인하였다. 정상인과 환자간의 상관성에 큰 차이가 있고, 이는 상완혈압 측정에 의존한 진단보다 두부혈압 측정에 의해 더 중요한 진단요소론 추출할 수 있어서 더 정차한 진단을 할 수 있음을 의미한다. 따라서, 뇌혈류에 이상이 있을 때 달라지는 두부혈압을 측정하여 상완혈압과의 상관성을 추출하고, 환자를 대상으로 분석하여 뇌혈류 상태를 진단/개선함으로서 새로운 진단체계를 구축할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다.

Dr. Image를 이용한 구강악안면방사선과 의료영상 관리 (Management of oral and maxillofacial radiological images)

  • Purpose : To implement the database system of oral and maxillofacial radiological images using a commercial medical image management software with personally developed classification code. Materials and methods : The image database was built using a slightly modified commercial medical image management software, Dr. Image v.2.1 (Bit Computer Co., Korea). The function of wild card '*' was added to the search function of this program. Diagnosis classification codes were written as the number at the first three digits, and radiographic technique classification codes as the alphabet right after the diagnosis code. 449 radiological films of 218 cases from January, 2000 to December, 2000, which had been specially stored for the demonstration and education at Dept. of OMF Radiology of Dankook University Dental Hospital, were scanned with each patient information. Results: Cases could be efficiently accessed and analyzed by using the classification code. Search and statistics results were easily obtained according to sex, age, disease diagnosis and radiographic technique. Conclusion : Efficient image management was possible with this image database system. Application of this system to other departments or personal image management can be made possible by utilizing the appropriate classification code system.

귀비탕(歸脾湯) 복용전후(服用前後)의 양도락전류량(良導絡電流量) 변화(變化)에 관(關)한 임상적(臨床的) 고찰(考察) (A Clinical Observation on Neurometor Electric Current Charge After Guibitang Administration)

  • A clinical observation was done on 98 cases performed neurometer diagnosis before Guibitang administration first, and rechecked neurometer diagnosis after Guibitang administration for 10 days. Electric current post administration was compared with ant administration. The following result were obtained. 1. A peak incidence was observed in 30-39 age group. 37 cases(37.8%) were in 30-39 age group. The ratio of male to female was 1:31.7. 2. Chief complaints were fatigue, menoxenia, indigestion, anorexia, constipation, headache, palpitation, insomnia etc. 3. The common result of neurometer point checking was that patients who had the pecularity of low electric current were much than patients who had the pecularity of high electric current. 4. By neurometer diagnosis a peak incidence was observed in gallbladder. Increment was also highest in gallbladder. Gallbladder has a function of psychomotility in oriental physiology. ?5. After Guibitang administration the increment of neurometer electric current was comparatively high in kidney, stomach, small intestine meridian. According to the above menthioned results I consider that Guibitang has the curative effects along the meridian selectively. and increases in function or preserves health within physycal limit.

  • A Neural network is possible to nonlinear function mapping and parallel processing. Therefore It has been developing for a Diagnosis system of nuclear plower plant. In general Neural Networks is a static mapping but Dynamic Neural Network(DNN) is dynamic mapping. When a fault occur in system, a state of system is changed with transient state. Because of a previous state signal is considered as a information. DNN is better suited for diagnosis systems than static neural network. But a DNN has many weights, so a real time implementation of diagnosis system is in need of a rapid network architecture. This paper presents a algorithm for RCP monitoring Alarm diagnosis system using Self Dynamic Neural Network(SDNN). SDNN has considerably fewer weights than a general DNN. Since there is no interlink among the hidden layer. The effectiveness of Alarm diagnosis system using the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by applying to RCP monitoring in Nuclear power plant.

생체-전기적 반응에 의한 한의학적 진단시스템의 설계 (Design of Oriental Medicine diagnosis system by Bio-Electric Response)

  • 인체 생리의 부조화에 의한 기능적 이상 진단이 가시화 장비나 임상병리 소견으로도 진단할 수 없는 경우가 있기 때문에, 현대과학과 의공학의 특성을 접목한 EFG(Electro Functio Gram:기능전도) 측정 개념의 진단기술 개발이 요구되고 있다. 따라서 이러한 기능적 진단기술을 이용하여 양ㆍ한방 모든 분야에서 기초 진단기로 사용할 수 있는 재현성과 신뢰성, 편리성을 갖춘 범용의 진단시스템으로 개발하였다. 또한, 한의학적진단 및 치료를 위한 기와 혈의 인체 순환을 진단할 수 있는 사지 8CH(양,음경락), 두부 2CH 동시계측 방법 및 일괄 부착식 전극을 개발하였다. 성인 남자 20명(정상인)을 대상으로 한 임상데이터 분석결과, 인체의 12경락의 상태 및 자율신경계통의 상태를 진단할 수 있어서, 진단장비로써의 유의성을 확인하였다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 인체 12부위의 음경락 양경락을 측정할 수 있는 H/W 및 S/W을 구현하고, EFG 체계를 구축하여 생체-전기적 반응에 의한 한의학적 진단 시스템을 설계하였다.

Recent Update of Advanced Imaging for Diagnosis of Cardiac Sarcoidosis: Based on the Findings of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Positron Emission Tomography

  • Sarcoidosis is a multisystem disease characterized by noncaseating granulomas. Cardiac involvement is known to have poor prognosis because it can manifest as a serious condition such as the conduction abnormality, heart failure, ventricular arrhythmia, or sudden cardiac death. Although early diagnosis and early treatment is critical to improve patient prognosis, the diagnosis of CS is challenging in most cases. Diagnosis usually relies on endomyocardial biopsy (EMB), but its diagnostic yield is low due to the incidence of patchy myocardial involvement. Guidelines for the diagnosis of CS recommend a combination of clinical, electrocardiographic, and imaging findings from various modalities, if EMB cannot confirm the diagnosis. Especially, the role of advanced imaging such as cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging and positron emission tomography (PET), has shown to be important not only for the diagnosis, but also for monitoring treatment response and prognostication. CMR can evaluate cardiac function and fibrotic scar with good specificity. Late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) in CMR shows a distinctive enhancement pattern for each disease, which may be useful for differential diagnosis of CS from other similar diseases. Effectively, T1 or T2 mapping techniques can be also used for early recognition of CS. In the meantime, PET can detect and quantify metabolic activity and can be used to monitor treatment response. Recently, the use of a hybrid CMR-PET has introduced to allow identify patients with active CS with excellent co-localization and better diagnostic accuracy than CMR or PET alone. However, CS may show various findings with a wide spectrum, therefore, radiologists should consider the possible differential diagnosis of CS including myocarditis, dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, amyloidosis, and arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy. Radiologists should recognize the differences in various diseases that show the characteristics of mimicking CS, and try to get an accurate diagnosis of CS.
