In the construction industry, Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) is considered to be the most suitable approach and determining the attribute weights is an important CBR problem. In this paper, a method is proposed for determining attribute weights that are calculated with attribute relation. The basic items of consideration were qualitative and quantitative influence factors. These quantitative factors were related to the qualitative factors to develop a Cost Drivers-structural equation model which can be used to estimate construction cost by considering attribute weight. The process of determining the attribute weight-structural equation model consists o 4 phases: selecting the predominant Cost Drivers for the SEM, applying the Cost Driers in the SEM, determining and verifying the attribute weights and deriving the Cost Estimation Equation. This study develops a cost estimating technique that complements the CBR method with a Cost Drivers-structural equation model which can be actively used during the schematic estimating phases of construction.

Objectives: Parental socioeconomic status (SES) exerts a substantial influence on children's health. The purpose of this study was to examine factors determining children's private health insurance (PHI) enrolment and children's healthcare utilization according to PHI coverage. Methods: Korea Health Panel data from 2011 (n=3085) was used to explore the factors determining PHI enrolment in children younger than 15 years of age. A logit model contained health status and SES variables for both children and parents. A fixed effects model identified factors influencing healthcare utilization in children aged 10 years or younger, using 2008 to 2011 panel data (n=9084). Results: The factors determining children's PHI enrolment included children's age and sex and parents' educational status, employment status, and household income quintile. PHI exerted a significant effect on outpatient cost, inpatient cost, and number of admissions. Number of outpatient visits and total length of stay were not affected by PHI status. The interaction between PHI and age group increased outpatient cost significantly. Conclusions: Children's PHI enrolment was influenced by parents' SES, while healthcare utilization was affected by health and disability status. Therefore, the results of this study suggest disparities in healthcare utilization according to PHI enrollment.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of the specialized dementia hospital which can confront in the old age society of Korea changing quickly. We need to make the architectural planning guide including the form determining factors which is useful for the domestic dementia hospital. The factors can be extracted from a database by analysing and investigating the documents of the developed nations equips the excellent dementia hospital. The result of this study is like this : at first, it is very important that the patient has to have the feeling of comfort and familiarity through the external space leads a direct participation. Second, the interior space must have the composition for the patients primarily. So, this research can be used the basic document of the dementia hospital planning.

The library as a social agency must study and evaluate its effectiveness and seek to improve its service for achieving the external objectives for which it was created. The study is an attempt to define the determining factors involved in change in library service. Library service evolves as a consequence of social need, which comprises unconventional demands of emerging areas in the subject ratio of literature, change in methods of research, change in the educational level of the community, and change in the user behavior. Since the library is an agency of communication, growth and specialization of information, and increase in variety of information media have effects on library service. The library is one of the many communication agencies in society, and increase or decrease in their programs can be determining factors of change in library service. Today, libraries depend more and more upon interlibrary cooperation to allow them to overcome their limitation in resources and time, and they can bring about changes in their service by adjusting themselves to the interlibrary cooperation arrangements available. Finally, library service is rendered as a result of theorizing as to what the library might or should do, and naturally theories or change in them may be determining factors of library service.

This study examined the factors determining experience of flow in mobile social network games. Built upon the literature on flow experience in the Internet and online games, this study classified the determining factors into three categories. The first category is the content factor which includes graphic design, challenge, and incentive; the second is the device factor including ease of access and ease of control; the third is the social factor including social interaction and community activities. A correlation analysis was conducted to examine the association between each of the seven determining factors and flow experience. Additionally, a hierarchical regression analysis was performed to evaluate which of the selected factors would exert a relatively strong influence on experience of flow. Both analyses reached the same conclusions as follows: Graphic design, incentive, and community activities increase flow experience while challenge and ease of control exert little influence on flow experience. In addition, graphic design was the most influential element in determining flow experience, followed by community activities and incentive, respectively.

The aim of this study is to specifically understand the officetel market by empirical analysis for the determining factors that affect determining the price of the officetel in Busan. In my opinion, it can help officetel providers to select the appropriate size and location that analysis for the factors determining officetel price with market price, and also it can help customers officetel to choice depending on the purpose. So I was conducting this study. In this study, I analyzes the factors determining the price of Officetel using a OLS linear regression, semi-log model, and a robust regression-Busan area Officetel Real Transaction Price as the dependent variable and factors representing the physical characteristics, locational characteristics and regional characteristics as independent variables.

This paper proposes a new DFA methodology that ran estimate the standard assembly time and evaluate the assemblability of parts for small-sized product. We deride some determining and influencing factors related with assembly process and measure the assembly time using notion analysis to estimate of assemblability. We deduce quantitative store of assemblability through analysis of a correlation between determining factors and grade of influencing factors.

This study was conducted to propose the way to develop and strengthen competitiveness of the Korean paper industry by analysing current competitiveness and the factors which determine and influence it. Delphi method was employed to identify determining factors of international competitiveness of Korean paper industry and evaluate the level of competitiveness. The competitiveness both in the domestic and foreign markets was evaluated by analysing each product market faced by the Korean paper industry in light of each of the determining factors. Based on the Delphi survey results, in order of importance, product quality, manufacturing cost, transportation and storage, timely delivery, supply of raw materials, and marketing were identified as the factors determining international competitiveness. Among them, it was revealed that Korean paper industry has a certain level of competitiveness in the factors such as product quality and timely delivery service while supply of raw materials and manufacturing costs were found to be inferior to overseas manufacturers in both domestic and foreign markets.

Objectives : The aim of this study is to investigate the relevant factors which determine the use of oriental healthcare services among subjects with chronic illnesses. Method : This study utilized the data from the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in 2005. Out of all the participants of the survey, 11,665 individuals who are older than 19 years old and have one or more chronic diseases were included in this study. Results : The factors that affect utilization of oriental healthcare services were significantly associated with gender, educational level, job, personal income, the number of chronic illnesses, experiences of nontreatment or delayed treatment and admission experiences for the last one year(p<.001). Although some of these factors need further studies, the determining factors for the use of oriental healthcare services are the presence of chronic illness and the number of chronic disease. That is, the chronically ill are more likely to seek oriental healthcare services. And the more chronic diseases the clients have the higher probability of seeking oriental healthcare services was found. Conclusions : The results suggest that the national integrated care services should be established for diverse development of policy regarding the quality of care of chronic illness and cost-effectiveness.

In this article, we deal with a design problem for determining the levels of noise factors in the Taguchi method. First, the proposed levels by Taguchi method is reviewed in case of smaller-the-better performance characteristics. We obtain the optimal levels of noise factors minimizing the mean square error of SN(signal to Noise) ratio and compare the optimal levels with the levels proposed by Taguchi method under the first and second order models. Secondly, the concept of V-optimality is applied to determining the levels of noise factors.
