Factors Affecting User's Repurchase Intention towards Chinese Internet Shopping Malls

  • More and more researchers and practitioners in the field of e-commerce are paying attentions to the retention of online customers. However, only a few researches can be addressed in the context of internet shopping mall repurchase intention. This study aims at investigating and delineating the important characteristic factors which affect consumers' repurchase intentions by conducting an empirical analysis. In order to fulfill this purpose effectively, a comprehensive review of previous studies regarding information system success model was performed in order to render a stronger theoretical foundation for our study. Finally, based on the DeLone and McLean (2003) IS success model, information quality, system quality, service quality, customer satisfaction and repurchase intention were employed as five constructs in the research model and hypotheses on mutual relationships between these constructs were established accordingly. Structural equation modeling was employed to analyze the data collected from 204 internet shopping mall consumers in China. Our theoretical model exhibited a good fit with the observed data. The empirical results showed particularly strong support for the effects of information quality, service quality and user satisfaction. The findings of this research contributed to the extension of repurchase intention study in the context of Internet shopping malls. Our research also offered implications for practitioners in regards to devising internet shopping malls so as to increase consumers' repurchase intention to use these services.

교육행정정보시스템(NEIS) 사용자 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Factors in Influencing Satisfaction with the National Education Information System)

  • As National Education Information Systems (NEIS) is supposed to broadly introduced all over the country, we need to understand factors that would affect its successful use. Studies regarding the NEIS have been made in terms of a social issue according to its introduction and use, however there has been only little research made in terms of the use of the system so far. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the factors that would have effect on a successful use of the NEIS. A research model of the study is based on the extended DeLone and McLean's information systems success model with two characteristics of computer self-efficacy and perceived fairness. Based on the survey data from 168 subjects, the present study performs SEM analysis with PLS. The results show that perceived usefulness and computer self-efficacy improves the user satisfaction. However, the user' satisfaction does not cause system characteristics- system quality, information quality, service quality -and perceived fairness not effect. The study provides characteristics which can effectively and smoothly introduce the NEIS for its successful use on the upcoming full scale execution on the NEIS.

융복합 병원정보시스템 품질이 시스템 만족과 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impacts of Convergence Hospital Information System Quality on Satisfaction and Performance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 DeLone과 McLean이 제안한 정보시스템 성공모형을 기반으로 병원정보시스템에 대한 성공모델을 제안하는 것이다. 병원정보시스템의 정보품질, 시스템품질, 서비스품질과 사용자 만족, 개인성과, 병원성과와의 관계를 살펴보기 위하여 연구를 수행하였다. 정보품질은 정보의 정확성과 적시성, 시스템품질은 보안성과 신뢰성, 서비스품질은 편리성과 유희성으로 살펴보았다. 2020년 10월부터 12월까지 병원에 근무하고 있는 직원들을 대상으로 209부의 설문지를 회수하였고, AMOS 25를 활용하여 구조방정식 모델로 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과를 보면, 병원정보시스템의 정보의 정확성은 사용자 만족에 영향을 미쳤지만, 정보의 적시성은 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 시스템품질인 보안성과 신뢰성은 사용자 만족에 영향을 미쳤지만 편리성은 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 반면, 유희성은 사용자 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 사용자 만족은 개인성과와 병원성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 병원정보시스템뿐만 아니라 헬스케어 관련 분야의 연구자들과 실무자들에게 의미 있는 가이드라인을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

e-러닝의 시스템품질과 동기화요인이 학업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 학습몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로 (A Study on the Influence of System Quality and Synchronization Factors for Learning Performance in e-Learning: The Mediating Effect of Learning Flow)

  • Recently, the development of ICT(information & communications technology) with the advent of new media paradigm shift in learning has brought a dramatic impact on the competitiveness of universities. The previous studies on the academic performance of e-learning mainly targeted on e-learning users, studying additional synchronization and system quality factors to measure academic performance. This study empirically analyzed the learning flow and academic performance considering both DeLone & McLean model system quality and synchronizing factors based on ARCS model. Relating to quality and synchronization factors, the academic performance of e-learning system was tested, and the difference between learning flow and academic performance was also analyzed based on time-series data, by the test difference(in the beginning, during, and final of the semester). The results of the study are as follows. First, the study shows that both system quality and synchronization directly affected the learning performance. Thus, when designing e-learning system, it is necessary to consider these two factors at the same time. Second, the indirectly mediating effect on the system quality and synchronization factors turned out to be significant in learning flow. Third, the result of regression analysis on the contents of utilizing dummy variable presents that the teacher's explanation has greater influence than multimedia has to the academic performance, and furthermore, the test difference showed no significance. Further research should be undertaken to consider the learner's degree of acceptance which reflects various aspects for building m-learning or u-learning.

오픈마켓의 웹서비스 품질과 사용자 만족 (A Study on the Web Service Quality and User Satisfaction at Open Market)

  • 오픈마켓의 지속적 성장으로 인해 업체간의 경쟁이 예상되므로 높은 품질확보를 통한 기존 사용자의 이탈방지와 새로운 사용자창출을 위해 노력하고 있다. 마케팅분야에서 서비스 품질에 대한 평가척도로 사용되던 서비스 품질을 확대하여 오픈마켓에 맞게 e-서비스 품질로 변환하여 사용하기도 한다. Udo et al.[6]은 정보시스템의 관점에서 Parasuraman et al.[2]의 e-서비스 품질과 DeLone and McLean[7]의 정보시스템 성공모델을 결합하여 웹서비스 품질로 제안하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Udo et al.[6]의 모형을 기반으로 한 오픈마켓의 웹 서비스 품질 영향요인으로 웹사이트 개인정보보호, 웹사이트 컨텐츠, 웹사이트 편의성 그리고 오픈마켓 이미지를 제안하였다. 부산지역에 거주하는 대학생과 대학 내 평생교육원 수강생 301명을 대상으로 설문한 결과 네 가지는 모두 오픈마켓의 웹 서비스 품질에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 궁극적으로 웹서비스 품질은 오픈마켓 사용자의 정보시스템 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 발견하였다.

사물인터넷(IoT) 전시 서비스품질이 전시수용에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Internet of Things (IoT) exhibition service quality on exhibition acceptance)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the causal relationship between exhibition acceptance through the quality factors of Internet of Things (IoT) exhibition services and ease and usefulness of technology acceptance factors for domestic exhibition visitors. Through this, the company intends to present effective and efficient development plans in the IoT exhibition industry. Therefore, we present a research model that applies DeLone & McLean's quality factors to key variables in the information system success model and ease and usefulness in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A survey was conducted on ordinary people with experience using the Internet of Water (IoT) exhibition service. The survey was conducted for two weeks from July 15 to August 20, 2021. A total of 276 surveys were used for data analysis during this period. The hypothesis results related to the information system success model of the Internet of Things (IoT) exhibition show that, first, system quality had no significant effect on usefulness, but significantly on ease. Second, information quality has been shown to have a significant effect on usability and ease. Third, service quality has been shown to have a significant impact on usability and ease. Fourth, usefulness has been shown to have a significant effect on exhibition acceptance. Fifth, ease has been shown to have a significant effect on usability. Sixth, ease was shown to have a significant effect on exhibition acceptance.

토털 아웃소싱 환경 하에서 IT서비스 수준관리(Service Level Management) 프로세스 성숙도가 정보시스템 성공에 미치는 영향에 관한 분석적 사례연구 (The Impact of Service Level Management(SLM) Process Maturity on Information Systems Success in Total Outsourcing: An Analytical Case Study)

  • As the utilization of information technology and the turbulence of technological change increase in organizations, the adoption of IT outsourcing also grows to manage IT resource more effectively and efficiently. In this new way of IT management technique, service level management(SLM) process becomes critical to derive success from the outsourcing in the view of end users in organization. Even though much of the research on service level management or agreement have been done during last decades, the performance of the service level management process have not been evaluated in terms of final objectives of the management efforts or success from the view of end-users. This study explores the relationship between SLM maturity and IT outsourcing success from the users' point of view by a analytical case study in four client organizations under an IT outsourcing vendor, which is a member company of a major Korean conglomerate. For setting up a model for the analysis, previous researches on service level management process maturity and information systems success are reviewed. In particular, information systems success from users' point of view are reviewed based the DeLone and McLean's study, which is argued and accepted as a comprehensively tested model of information systems success currently. The model proposed in this study argues that SLM process maturity influences information systems success, which is evaluated in terms of information quality, systems quality, service quality, and net effect proposed by DeLone and McLean. SLM process maturity can be measured in planning process, implementation process and operation and evaluation process. Instruments for measuring the factors in the proposed constructs of information systems success and SL management process maturity were collected from previous researches and evaluated for securing reliability and validity, utilizing appropriate statistical methods and pilot tests before exploring the case study. Four cases from four different companies under one vendor company were utilized for the analysis. All of the cases had been contracted in SLA(Service Level Agreement) and had implemented ITIL(IT Infrastructure Library), Six Sigma and BSC(Balanced Scored Card) methods since last several years, which means that all the client organizations pursued concerted efforts to acquire quality services from IT outsourcing from the organization and users' point of view. For comparing the differences among the four organizations in IT out-sourcing sucess, T-test and non-parametric analysis have been applied on the data set collected from the organization using survey instruments. The process maturities of planning and implementation phases of SLM are found not to influence on any dimensions of information systems success from users' point of view. It was found that the SLM maturity in the phase of operations and evaluation could influence systems quality only from users' view. This result seems to be quite against the arguments in IT outsourcing practices in the fields, which emphasize usually the importance of planning and implementation processes upfront in IT outsourcing projects. According to after-the-fact observation by an expert in an organization participating in the study, their needs and motivations for outsourcing contracts had been quite familiar already to the vendors as long-term partners under a same conglomerate, so that the maturity in the phases of planning and implementation seems not to be differentiating factors for the success of IT outsourcing. This study will be the foundation for the future research in the area of IT outsourcing management and success, in particular in the service level management. And also, it could guide managers in practice in IT outsourcing management to focus on service level management process in operation and evaluation stage especially for long-term outsourcing contracts under very unique context like Korean IT outsourcing projects. This study has some limitations in generalization because the sample size is small and the context itself is confined in an unique environment. For future exploration, survey based research could be designed and implemented.

계산과학공학플랫폼 품질 특성이 사용자 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (An Analysis of the Factors Affecting User Satisfaction in Computational Science and Engineering Platforms: A Case Study of EDISON)

  • Computational Science and Engineering is a convergence study that understands and solves complex problems such as science, engineering, and social phenomena through modeling using computing resources. Computational science and engineering combines algorithms, computational and informatics, and infrastructure. The importance of computational science is increasing with the improvement of computer performance and the development of large data processing technology. In Korea, Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) has been developing national computational science engineering software and utilization technology by combining basic science and computing technology through EDISON project. The EDISON project builds an open EDISON platform and integrates and services information systems in seven areas of computational science and engineering (computational thermal fluids, nanophysics, computational chemistry, structural dynamics, computational design, and computational medicine). Using this, we have established a web-based curriculum to lay the groundwork for fostering scientific talent and commercializing computational science and engineering software. The purpose of this study is to derive the quality characteristic factors of computational science platform and to empirically examine the effect on user satisfaction. This paper examines how the quality characteristics of information systems, the computational science engineering platform, affect the user satisfaction by modifying the research questions according to the propensity of the computational science platform by referring to the success factors of DeLone and McLean's information system. Based on the results of this study, we will suggest strategic implications for platform improvement by searching the priority of quality characteristics of computational science platform.

기업 모바일 소셜네트워크서비스 특성요인이 사용자 만족과 지속적 사용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Study of the Effects of the Enterprise Mobile Social Network Service on User Satisfaction and the Continuous Use Intention)

  • 본 연구는 기업 모바일 SNS 특성요인들이 사용자 만족과 지속적 사용의도에 영향을 미치는지를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있으며, 이를 위하여 정보시스템 성공 모형과 기술수용모델 그리고 수용 후 모델을 근거로 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위한 자료는 서울소재 100명 이상의 종업원을 가진 기업체 9곳을 대상으로 기업 모바일 SNS의 사용 경험이 있는 종업원 276명으로부터 수집하였으며, 자료수집 도구로는 구조화된 자기기입식 질문지를 사용하였다. 주된 자료분석 방법으로는 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 사용하여 구조방정식모형분석기법을 적용하였다. 연구결과 3개의 기업 모바일 SNS 특성인 시스템적 특성요인(시스템 품질, 정보품질, 서비스 품질), 사용자 특성요인(개인의 혁신성, 개인의 친숙도), 시회적 특성요인(사회적 영향, 사회적 상호작용)이 지각된 유용성, 지각된 용이성, 지각된 즐거움을 통해서 사용자 만족과 지속적 사용의도에 영향을 미치며, 영향의 방향은 이론적 예측과 일치한다는 것을 발견하였으며, 이들 결정변수들과 매개변수들은 사용자 만족과 지속적 사용의도에 중요한 영향을 미치는 변수라는 것이 밝혀졌다. 이러한 연구결과를 위해 이론적 실천적 함의를 논의 하였고, 이들 연구의 문제점 및 향후 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

카 쉐어링 서비스 특성이 사용자 평가와 순 편익에 미치는 영향 (The Effectiveness of Service Characteristics of Car Sharing on User Evaluation and Net Benefit)

  • 공유 경제의 대표적인 사례 중 하나의 카 쉐어링 서비스는 차량을 공유하여 사용자가 원하는 시간, 장소에서 원하는 만큼 공유하여 사용할 수 있는 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 카 쉐어링 서비스의 시스템이 제공하는 기반적 특성인 희소성과, 시스템 품질, 서비스 품질이 사용자의 평가 요소에 영향을 줄 것이라 가정하고 사용자의 평가를 통하여 사용자의 순 편익을 확인하고자 하였다. 분석결과 희소성의 쿠폰과 시간제한은 사용자 평가 요소인 인지된 사회적 지지와 앱 신뢰에 영향을 주었으나 제한 수량은 영향을 주지 않아 카 쉐어링 서비스에서 수량에 대한 제한은 관련 없는 것으로 나타났다. 시스템 품질의 대부분의 변수들이 인지된 사회적 지지와 앱 신뢰에 영향을 주었다. 사용자 평가는 사용자 만족과 추천의도에 영향을 주었다. 사용자가 얻을 수 있는 순 편익으로써 만족감과 조직적 측면에서의 간접적 성과인 추천 의도가 채택되어 순 편익 변수의 역할을 하였다. 공유경제와 관련된 연구는 주로 탐색적 연구에서 국한하는 점으로 비추어 볼 때 본고에서 언급하고 있는 비즈니스 성공 모델의 적용과 사회적 변수 적용 등 실증적으로 분석했다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다.
