우리나라 연안해역을 통항하는 선박에 대한 AIS 데이터 입력 오류의 분석 및 개선 방안 연구 (Studies on the Improvement and Analysis of Data Entry Error to the AIS System for the Traffic Ships in the Korean Coastal Area)

  • The purpose of this study is to survey input data error of ship automatic identification system (AIS) and suggest its improvement. The effects of AIS were observed. Input data error of AIS was investigated by dividing it into dynamic data, static data by targeting actual ships and its improvement method was suggested. The findings are as follows. Looking into accidents before and after AIS is enforced to install on the ship, total collision were decreased after AIS installed. Static data error of AIS took place mainly in the case that ship name, call sign, MMSI, IMO number, ship type, location of antenna (ship length and width) were wrongly input or those data were not input initially. Dynamic data error of AIS was represented by input error of ship's heading. As errors of voyage related data take place as well, confusion is made in sailing or ship condition. Counter measures against the above are as follows. First, reliability of AIS data information should be improved. Second, incessant concern and management should be made on the navigation officers.

  • 일반적으로 수치지도제작을 수행하기 위해서는 종이에 인쇄된 원도를 컴퓨터상에서 작업할 수 있는 수치자료로 변환하는 자료입력과정과 작업이 끝난 자료를 출력하는 도면출력과정에 입출력장비가 이용된다. 본 연구에서는 수치지도 작업과정에 수반되는 입력장비중 벡터형태의 자료를 직접적으로 생성할 수 있는 장점에 의해 부분 도화된 수정도화 원도의 입력시 주로 이용되는 디지타이저와, 작업의 용이성 에 의해 주로 원도의 입력과정에 이용되는 스캐너에 대해 작업방법 및 입출력장비 특성에 따른 위치오차를 분석하였으며, 출력장비에 따른 위치오차분석에서는 플로터방식과 출력도면의 재질에 따른 위치정확도를 분석하였다.

  • 현재 건설공사 사후평가시스템 입력과정에서 자료가 오류 및 누락이 발생되는 경우가 많아 데이터의 신뢰성이 떨어지는 경우가 많다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 사후평가 결과분석의 신뢰성 확보를 위해 건설공사 사후평가시스템의 입력누락 및 입력오류에 대한 세부적인 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 건설사업 초기 단계일수록 자료의 미입력된 자료의 비중이 높게 나타났다. 그리고 분석된 등록오류로는 참고자료의 부정확, "원" 단위 오류, 입력항목에 대한 이해부족 등으로 나타났다.

  • The NHIS provides free or highly subsidized healthcare to all people by providing financial fortification. However, the financial sustainability of the scheme is threatened by numerous factors. Therefore, this work sought to provide a solution to process claims intelligently. The provided Petri net model demonstrated successful data flow among the various participant. For efficiency, scalability, and performance two main subsystems were modelled and integrated - data input and claims processing subsystems. We provided smart claims processing algorithm that has a simple and efficient error detection method. The complexity of the main algorithm is good but that of the error detection is excellent when compared to literature. Performance indicates that the model output is reachable from input and the token delivery rate is promising.

Error Analysis of the Exponential RLS Algorithms Applied to Speech Signal Processing

  • The set of admissible time-variations in the input signal can be separated into two categories : slow parameter changes and large parameter changes which occur infrequently. A common approach used in the tracking of slowly time-varying parameters is the exponential recursive least-squares(RLS) algorithm. There have been a variety of research works on the error analysis of the exponential RLS algorithm for the slowly time-varying parameters. In this paper, the focus has been given to the error analysis of exponential RLS algorithms for the input data with abrupt property changes. The voiced speech signal is chosen as the principal application. In order to analyze the error performance of the exponential RLS algorithm, deterministic properties of the exponential RLS algorithms is first analyzed for the case of abrupt parameter changes, the impulsive input(or error variance) synchronous to the abrupt change of parameter vectors actually enhances the convergence of the exponential RLS algorithm. The analysis has also been verified through simulations on the synthetic speech signal.

However. total error numbers of the existing model and each error time was needed as data for developing the new model. But, maximum likelihood estimation must be used to exponential model of binomial-type and estimating of parameters by using the searched data. Parameter estimation can be done with trial and error or simulation.

신경망을 이용한 RFID 실내 위치 인식 (RFID Indoor Location Recognition Using Neural Network)

  • 최근에 위치 인식 기술이 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 특히 실내에서 주변 환경에 영향을 받지 않고 사람이나 사물의 위치를 파악하고, 유용한 서비스를 제공하는 기술이 대두되고 있다. 기존에 물체나 사람의 위치를 인식하는 방법으로 보편적으로 GPS기술을 많이 사용하였다. GPS는 매우 효율적으로 위치를 감지하지만 실내에서의 위치를 파악하기는 어렵기 때문에 실내에서 위치 인식을 위한 방법으로 RFID의 사용이 대두되었다. RFID는 무선주파수를 이용하여 태그가 부착된 사물 또는 사람의 위치정보를 파악하는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 RFID 시스템을 구성하고 태그를 이용하여 위치를 측정했다. 이때 실제위치와 측정된 위치간의 오차가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 오차를 줄이기 위해 측정된 위치 데이터와 실제 위치 데이터를 이용하여 신경망을 훈련하였다. 이때 측정된 태그의 개수가 일정하지 않아 신경망을 훈련시키기 위한 입력값으로 적합하지 않으므로 무게중심 입력과 중앙값 입력으로 변환하여 입력하여 신경망을 훈련시켰다. 그 결과 신경망에 의한 위치 오차가 줄어든 것을 확인하였다. 또한 훈련시킨 개수를 50, 100, 200, 300개로 실험하여 데이터입력 개수와 오차의 상관관계를 확인하고, 신경망을 이용하여 훈련시켰을 때 무게중심 입력과 중앙값 입력을 사용했을 때의 오차를 비교하였다. 그 결과 훈련시킨 데이터 개수가 많을수록 오차가 줄어들고, 무게중심 입력보다 중앙값 입력을 사용했을 때 오차가 줄어드는 것을 확인하였다.

  • One-port acoustic characteristics of an in-duct source can be measured by the multi-load method using an overdetermined set of open pipes with different lengths as applied loads. The input data. viz. load pressure and load impedance, are usually contaminated by measurement error in the actual measurements, which result in errors in the calculated source parameters. In this paper, the effects of the errors in the input data on the results have been studied numerically, varying the number of loads and their impedances in order to determine what combination of the loads will yield the best result. An error analysis is applied to each case of possible loads, which consist of open pipes. It is noted that, frequently, only a set of open pipes is used when applying the multi-load method to the intake or exhaust sides of internal combustion engines. A set of pipe lengths which cause the calculated results to be least sensitive to the input data error can be found when using open pipe loads. The present work is intended to produce guidelines for preparing an appropriate load set in order to obtain accurate source properties of fluid machines.

Wireless Communication at 310 GHz using GaAs High-Electron-Mobility Transistors for Detection

  • We report on the first error-free terahertz (THz) wireless communication at 0.310 THz for data rates up to 8.2 Gbps using a 18-GHz-bandwidth GaAs/AlGaAs field-effect transistor as a detector. This result demonstrates that low-cost commercially-available plasma-wave transistors whose cut-off frequency is far below THz frequencies can be employed in THz communication. Wireless communication over 50 cm is presented at 1.4 Gbps using a uni-travelling-carrier photodiode as a source. Transistor integration is detailed, as it is essential to avoid any deleterious signals that would prevent successful communication. We observed an improvement of the bit error rate with increasing input THz power, followed by a degradation at high input power. Such a degradation appears at lower powers if the photodiode bias is smaller. Higher-data-rate communication is demonstrated using a frequency-multiplied source thanks to higher output power. Bit-error-rate measurements at data rates up to 10 Gbps are performed for different input THz powers. As expected, bit error rates degrade as data rate increases. However, degraded communication is observed at some specific data rates. This effect is probably due to deleterious cavity effects and/or impedance mismatches. Using such a system, realtime uncompressed high-definition video signal is successfully and robustly transmitted.

비례적분+이중적분 제어기를 이용한 정상상태 응답 개선 (Improvement of Steady State Response Using PI+Double Integral Controller)

  • The performance characteristics of a dynamic control system are evaluated according to the transient and steady-state responses. The transient performance is the controllability of the output for the tracking of the reference or the ability to reduce or reject the effects of unwanted disturbances; alternatively, the steady-state performance is represented by the magnitude of the control error at the steady state. As the effects of the two performances on each other are reciprocal, a controller design that shows a zero steady-state error for the ramp input is uncommon because of the challenge regarding the achievement of an acceptable transient response. This paper proposes a PI+double-integral controller for the elimination of the steady-state error for the ramp input while a sound transient performance is maintained. The control-gain design procedure is described by the second-order response for the step input and the response of the error dynamics for the ramp input. The PI+double-integral controller is designed for the first-order transfer function that is derived from a system identification with the open-loop experiment data of the dc-motor. The simple structure of the proposed controller enables the adoption of a low-end microcontroller for the implementation of a real-time control. The experiment results show that the control performance is as effective as that of the simulation analysis for the operating point of linear system; furthermore, the PI+double-integral controller can be conveniently applied to the control system, which is desirable for the improvement of the steady-state error.
