  • This paper describes the development of a wireless communication controller of gripper contact signal for industrial robot. The wireless communication gripper controller is composed of a robot wireless communication controller and a gripper wireless transmitting/receiving controller. The robot wireless communication controller transmits the data of gripper sensors, and the gripper wireless communication controller receives the data. And the controller sends the data to the robot controller of industrial robot. As a result of the characteristics test of the wireless communication gripper controller, it is thought that the robot wireless communication controller A transmits and receives three gripper wireless transmitting/receiving controller A1, A2, A3 another. Thus, the developed wireless communication gripper controller can be used for transmitting/ receiving the data of gripper sensors for industrial robot.

  • Although some CASE tools supported conceptual data design, they required for users too much preliminary knowledge to learn how to use and handle them. In addition, in a number of studies on conceptual data design with natural language, they claimed passive participation for users with conforming to messages predefined by CASE tools. As an alternative to these traditional CASE tools, we proposed an ERD formulator for automated data design tool, called ERDF, so that even ordinary users, not necessarily data modeler, are capable of formulating ERD on business requirements by use of ERDF. We, first of all, introduced NSM as the standard methodology. We also designed the structure of ERDF including main controller, input controller, operation controller, regulation controller, schema controller, and output controller. We then defined conceptual domains and basic operations to lay down schema operations as well as sentence rules to handle input sentence in natural language. To get an ERD that is faithful to business requirements, we laid out supplementary design for dialogue and confirmation of soundness and completion.

  • This paper presents a data based low-order controller design algorithm for a linear time-invariant process with a time delay. The algorithm is composed by combining an identification step based on open loop pulse test with a low-order controller design step to obtain the entire set of controllers achieving multiple performance specifications. The initial information necessary for this algorithm are merely the width and amplitude of a rectangular pulse, a controller of four types (PI, PD, PID, first-order), and design objectives. Various parametric approaches that have been developed are merged in the controller design algorithm. The resulting controller set satisfying the design objectives are displayed on the 2D and 3D graphics and thus it is very easy for us to pick a controller inside the admissible set because we can check the corresponding closed-loop performances visually.

  • This research introduces the architecture of managing products based software. There are many of the architectures for managing products using software instead of manpower. In case of MVC and existing architectures, The architectures transfer redundant data so the architectures cause a problem that unnecessary data moved. This research presents VMDC(View, Model, Dispatcher, Controller) architecture to solve the problem. Dispatcher of VMDC grasps necessary data and reconstructs objects to efficient transferring data. This research shows usecase that designed VMDC(View, Model, Dispatcher, Controller) and demonstrate efficiency of VMDC(View, Model, Dispatcher, Controller) together. after demonstration this research present with next research.

  • Software defined networking (SDN) is considered to be one of the most promising paradigms in the future. To solve the scalability and performance problem that a single and centralized controller suffers from, the distributed multi-controller architecture is adopted, thus forms multi-domain SDN. In a multi-domain SDN network, it is of great importance to ensure a reliable control plane. In this paper, we focus on the reliability problem of multi-domain SDN against controller failure from perspectives of backup controller deployment and controller replication. We firstly propose a placement algorithm for backup controllers, which considers both the reliability and the cost factors. Then a controller replication mechanism based on shared data storage is proposed to solve the inconsistency between the active and standby controllers. We also propose a shared data storage layout method that considers both reliability and performance. Besides, a fault recovery and repair process is designed based on the controller backup and shared data storage mechanism. Simulations show that our approach can recover and repair controller failure. Evaluation results also show that the proposed backup controller placement approach is more effective than other methods.

  • In this paper, we describe an implementation of the B-Link bus interface logic for a directory controller and a remote access cash controller in the SCI-based CC-NUMA multimedia server developed by ETRI . The CC-NUMA multimedia server is composed of a number of Pentium III SHV nodes and a SCI interconnection network. To communicate with remote nodes, each node has a CC-Agent which consists of a processor bus interface(PIF). a directory controller(DC), a remote access cash controller(RC), and two SCI 1ink controllers(LCs). The B-Link bus interface logic is developed for a directory controller and a remote access cash controller in order to communicate with a SCI link controller on a B-Link bus. It consists of a sending master controller a receiving slave controller, and asynchronous data buffers. And It performs a self-arbitration, a data packet transmission, a queue allocation, an early terminal ion. and a cut-through data path.

  • In this paper, the arc welding robot controller using a touch sensor and a arc sensor is presented. The controller is composed of robot controller parts for moving torch, and arc welding controller for welding and tracking. In the controller, an compensated data is generated to control robot trajectory and seam tracking by the arc sensor function. The data is obtained by integration of arc current. Experimental results are presented confirming the controller performance.

  • We propose a method of generating data to train a neural network controller. The data can be prepared directly by an iterative learning technique which repeatedly adjusts the control input to improve the tracking quality of the desired trajectory. Instead of storing control input data in memory as in iterative learning control, the neural network stores the mapping between the control input and the desired output. We apply this concept to the trajectory control of a two link robot manipulator with a feedforward neural network controller and a feedback linear controller. Simulation results show good generalization of the neural network controller.

  • We, in this paper, design the Sugeno-models fuzzy controller by using the membership function modification algorithm and ANFIS, which are clustering and learning the input-output data. The membership function modification algorithm constructs the more concrete fuzzy controller by clustering the input-output data from the fuzzy inference system. ANFIS construct the Sugeno-models fuzzy controller by learning the input-output data from the above controller. We showed that the fuzzy controller designed by our method could have the stable learning and the enhanced performance.

  • This paper presents the development of the I/O Interface for the real time parallel data communication between controller of a six-axis industrial robot(CRS-A460) and an external computer. The proposed I/O Interface consists of the hardware I/O interface and the software that is downloaded to the robot controller and executed by the controller operating system. The constitution of the digital I/O Port for CRS-A460 robot controller and the digital I/O board for IBM-PC are presented as well as the Process Control Program of the robot controller. The developed protocol for the parallel data communication is described. The data communication is tested, and the performance is analysed. In particular, it is shown that the real-time constraint of the robot controller process is satisfied.
