Second, significant relationships were found between employment preparation behavior and motivation behind choosing a major, work values, and COVID-19 anxiety, in that order. The higher the major selection motivation, work values, and COVID-19 anxiety were, the better the employment preparation behavior was. Conclusion : The study's results indicate that it would be meaningful to provide health college students who were highly motivated to select their major and who possess sound work values with well-prepared job training programs. Various activities organized by the school for improving the students' self-satisfaction and self-efficacy, which can strengthen their long-term work values, could also be provided. In addition, due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, college students may feel anxious about new infectious diseases that might occur in the future. Therefore, considering the contemporary situation, a helpful educational program will be invaluable to fit the pupils for life's battle after they finish their education.

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the quantitative detection of periodontal pathogens before and after scaling by real-time polymerase chain reaction. Methods: Participants were voluntarily recruited at D university, and saliva samples were extracted before and after scaling. Multiple real-time polymerase chain reactions were used to analyze characteristics and the amount of nine kinds of periodontal pathogens; Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans, Porphyromonas gingivalis, Tannerella forsythia, Treponema denticola, Prevotella intermedia, Fusobacterium nucleatum, Parvimonas micra, Campylobacter rectus, and Eikenella corrodens. Results: After scaling, most periodontal pathogens except Eikenella corrodens were significantly decreased in all subjects(p<0.05). In addition, the percentage of microorganisms associated with disease, the microorganism risk index of periodontitis and the prevalence of red complex, orange complex, and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans was also significantly reduced after scaling(p<0.05). Conclusions: Scaling decreased in the amount of major periodontal pathogens and periodontitis prevalence rate.

  • The demand of cyclotron for PET (positron emission tomography) has rapidly grown as the more use of PET or PET-CT equipment requires the increased amount of radioactive isotopes for clinical positron emission. While research on failure statistics of medical equipment used in medical centers has continued to be done, the analysis and study on failure statistics of cyclotron have rarely been conducted. However, the growing demand shows the urgency of systematical management guideline and countermeasures for device failure to minimize any supply delay of radiopharmaceuticals occurred by such failure and complains from waiting patients for PET-CT diagnosis. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the failure report from Minitrace equipped in cyclotron which is owned by the department of nuclear medicine at Yeungnam University Medical Center and draws on the data to build effective management system for cyclotron.
