CGM 알고리즘을 이용한 중계기 간섭제거기 구현 (Implementation of Interference Cancellation System for Relay Utilizing the CGM Algorithm)

  • This paper shows a novel interference cancellation method of relay utilizing to the CGM algorithm in wireless communication environments. It is a problem that relay have interference cause by feedback signal of it. CGM algorithm obtained weight value that can remove the interference due to feedback signal of relay. In this paper, we confirm that performance of CGM algorithm is far superior with suitable cancellation value to remove the feedback signal. Also, we implement CGM module to verify the real-time processing of CGM algorithm using to DSP. Based on the analysis from computer simulation, it is observed that proposed algorithm is suitable for the relay in time-varying environment.

  • Owing to technical advances in very large-scale integrated circuits (VLSI), high-speed digital signal processing (DSP) chips become fast enough to allow for real-time implementation of hearing aid algorithms in units small enough to be wearable. In this paper, we present a digital hearing aid processor (DHAP) chip built around a general-purpose 16-bit DSP core. The designed DHAP performs a nonlinear loudness correction of 8 octave frequency bands based on audiometric measurements. By employing a programmable DSP, the DHAP provides all the flexibility needed to implement audiological algorithms. In addition, the has a low power feature and $5.410\times5.720mm^2$ dimensions that fit for wearable devices.

  • In this study, a signal processing and related techniques for development of a weight measuring system using a digital loadcell which is able to satisfy the important properties of WIM (weighing-in-motion) system have been investigated. A fast and high accurate signal processing of the digital load cell sensor for weighing-in-motion system is presented. A/D conversion system is constructed to realize a stable A/D conversion and signal processing algorithm using DSP and microprocessor. A new technique for vibration and measuring speed of the system is also investigated. The proposed method was applied to the actual design and the experimental results showed good performance of the weighing speed and stability.

초정밀 평면 X-Y 스테이지의 시뮬레이션 및 제어성능 평가 (Simulation and Control performance evaluation of Ultra-Precision Single Plane X-Y Stage)

  • In this study, actuator, sensor, guide, power transmission element and control method are considered for ultra-precision positioning apparatus. Through previous process, single plane X-Y stage with ultra-precision positioning is manufactured. Global stage for the purpose of materialization with robust system, is combined by using AC servo motor and ball screw and rolling guide. And ultra-precision positioning system is developed by micro stage with elastic hinge type and piezo element. global servo and micro servo for the purpose of materialization positioning accuracy with nm(nanometer) are controlled simultaneously by using incremental encoder and laser interferometer as displacement measurement sensor. Through previous process, ultra-precision positioning system(100mm stroke and $\pm$ l0nm positioning accuracy) with single plane X-Y stage are materialized.

  • 본 논문에서는 포터블 뇌파 바이오피드백시스템을 위한 전치증폭부 및 디지털 신호처리부의 하드웨어 구현에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 뇌파의 특성을 고려하여 외부 잡음을 제거할 수 있는 뇌파 획득용 전치증폭부를 구현하였다. 측정된 뇌파에는 안전도, 근전도, 심전도 등의 신호들이 포함되어 있으며 이들은 뇌파 분석에 방해가 된다. 따라서 이러한 신호들을 제거하기 위하여 적응여파기 알고리즘을 수행하고 전치증폭부를 실시간으로 구동하는 디지털신호처리부를 구현하였다. 시뮬레이션 파형과 실제 뇌파를 적용한 실험결과를 통하여 개발된 시스템의 성능을 확인 할 수 있었으며 휴대형 뇌파바이오피드백 시스템에 적용 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • Digital fetal monitoring system based on the personal computer combined with the digital signal processing board was implemented. The DSP board acquires and digitally processes ultrasound fetal Doppler signal for digital rectification, FIR filtering, autocorrelation function calculation, its peak detection and MEDIAN filtering. The personal computer interfaced with the DSP board is in charge of graphic display, hardcopy, data transmission and on-line analysis of fetal heart rate change including and variability. I used a recursive technique for autocorrelation function computation method and MEDIAN filter which can greatly reduce the amount of calculation and accuracy. I also implemented analysis algorithm of fetal heart rate change based on normal fetal sample data in order to exact diagnosis.

  • 본 논문은 비터비 복호(Decoding)를 DSP(Digital Signal Processor)에서 효율적이고 빠르게 구현 할 수 있는 명령어 집합 및 하드웨어 회로를 제안한다. 제안하는 하드웨어 구조는 기존의 DSP 칩에 비터비 복호 알고리즘의 연산 구조에 효율적인 명령어 및 이에 가장 적합한 연산 유닛의 배열과 데이터 패스 구조를 추가하여 비터비 복호뿐만 아니라 일반 신호 처리 알고리즘들을 구현 할 수 있다. 기존의 DSP 칩이 수십 Kbps 대의 전송률에서 비터비 복호를 수행하는 반면 본 구조는 100MHz 동작 주파수를 갖는 DSP 칩에서 6.25 Mbps의 전송률의 비터비 복호를 수행할 수 있어 전용 비터비 프로세서에 근접한 성능을 갖는다. 따라서 본 구조는 IMT-2000의 요구 전송률인 2Mbps 환경에서도 사용 가능하다.

Application of Digital Signal Analysis Technique to Enhance the Quality of Tracer Gas Measurements in IAQ Model Tests

  • The introduction of tracer gas techniques to ventilation studies in indoor environments provides valuable information that used to be unattainable from conventional testing environments. Data acquisition systems (DASs) containing analogue-to-digital (A/D) converters are usually used to function the key role that records signals to storage in digital format. In the testing process, there exist a number of components in the measuring equipment which may produce system-based inference to the monitored results. These unwanted fluctuations may cause significant error in data analysis, especially when non-linear algorithms are involved. In this study, a pre-processor is developed and applied to separate the unwanted fluctuations (noise or interference) in raw measurements and to reduce the uncertainty in the measurement. Moving average, notch filter, FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filters, and IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filters are designed and applied to collect the desired information from the raw measurements. Tracer gas concentrations are monitored during leakage and ventilation tests in the model test room. The signal analysis functions are introduced to carry out the digital signal processing (DSP) work. Overall the FIR filters process the $CO_2$ measurement properly for ventilation rate and mean age of air calculations. It is found that, the Kaiser filter was the most applicable digital filter for pre-processing the tracer gas measurements. Although the IIR filters help to reduce the random noise in the data, they cause considerable changes to the filtered data, which is not desirable.

선박용 레이더 신호처리부를 위한 시뮬레이션 테스트보드 구현 (Simulation Test Board Implementation of Digital Signal Processor for Marine Radar)

  • 본 논문에서는 자동적으로 충돌을 예방하는 선박용 레이더 시스템의 표적 탐지 및 추적 알고리즘, 충돌위험 계산 및 위험 경보 알고리즘을 개발하고 이를 적용시켜 일련의 동작을 수행하는 신호처리 보드부를 디지털 하드웨어적으로 구현하였다. 근거리에서 성능이 우수한 FMCW (Frequency Modulation Continuous Wave) 신호를 송신신호로 사용하고 1도 간격으로 빔포밍하는 기계식 스캔방식의 안테나 사용을 시뮬레이션 환경으로 설정하였다. 테스트보드는 DSP칩, FPGA 등으로 구성되며 이를 이용하여 개발된 알고리즘의 시뮬레이션을 수행하는 임베디드 시스템을 구현하였다.
