This paper presents a real-time haptic rendering method for a realistic force feedback in a remote environment with varying communication time-delay. The remote environment is assumed as a virtual environment based on a computer graphics, for example, on-line shopping mall, internet game and cyber-education. The properties of a virtual object such as stiffness and viscosity are assumed to be unknown because they are changed according to the contact position and/or a penetrated depth into the object. The DARMAX model based output estimator is proposed to trace the correct impedance of the virtual object in real-time. The output estimator is developed on the input-output relationship. It can trace the varying impedance in real-time by virtue of P-matrix resetting algorithm. And the estimator can trace the correct impedance by using a white noise that prevents the biased input-output information. Realistic output forces are generated in real-time, by using the inputs and the estimated impedance, even though the communication time delay and the impedance of the virtual object are unknown and changed. The generated forces trace the analytical forces computed from the virtual model of the remote environment. Performance is demonstrated by experiments with a 1-dof haptic device and a spring-damper-based virtual model.

Rapidly increasing internet use has brought beneficial development in many aspect and provide us with abundance and comfort as well as enhancement of quality of life. We try to provide the desirable direction for Internet ethics by mobile SNS. SNS has not only economical values but also social communication toll to exchange and share views of specific issues with other users. Social influential and personal emotion factor is a factor of community relation. Thus SNS contribute to self-construction, interpersonal relations and public sphere. This internet ethics of mobile Era will makes people recognize the correct internet ethics information and do it, suggest the solution for interpersonal internet environment.

This study examined the mediating effects of irrational beliefs on the relationships of middle school students' autonomy of psychological growth environment and behavioral anger responses(impulsive reaction, verbal aggression, physical confrontation and indirect expression). A sample of 346 first and second year students of middle school participated in the autonomy of psychological growth environment scale, the irrational beliefs scale and behavioral anger responses scale. Pearson's correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed. The results showed that: ⑴ The relations among autonomy of psychological growth environment, irrational beliefs and behavioral anger responses were significant. The autonomy of psychological growth environment had negative correlations with irrational beliefs and behavioral anger responses. Irrational beliefs produced positive correlations with behavioral anger responses. There were positive correlations among the subtypes of behavioral anger responses. ⑵ There were mediating effects of irrational beliefs between autonomy of psychological growth environment and behavioral anger responses. The effects of autonomy of psychological growth environment on impulsive reaction, physical confrontation and indirect expression were fully mediated by irrational beliefs. However, the effect of autonomy of psychological growth environment on verbal aggression was partially mediated by irrational beliefs. This study demonstrated that irrational beliefs mediate the relationship between autonomy of psychological growth environment and behavioral anger responses.

The purposes of this study were to explore the differences in maternal parenting behaviors, parents' conflict, social support, and social competence according to boys' and girls' depression level. The participants of this study were 150 children of 4 to 6 grades and their teachers from one elementary school in Seoul. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test. The result were as follows: Firstly, depressive boys perceived less maternal warmth and more parents' conflict than non-depression group. And boys of depression group had less task orientation than non-depression group. Secondly, depressive girls perceived less maternal warmth, supervision, and parents' support, and more parents' conflict than non-depression group. And girls of depression group were rated having less peer social skills, frustration tolerance than non-depression group by teachers.

Nowadays, national critical infrastructures have been known to be highly vulnerable to the EMP threats which are internationally growing. But their realistic solutions have been not made by the lack of detailed rules and regulations in current laws, however, which cover most of cyber threats. This paper takes a look at the domestic and overseas trends on the EMP protections, and proposes the revision directives of relevant laws and the contents included into the proposed legislation. Among them, the amendment of the current "Information Infrastructure Protection Act" is considered to be the most effective, including provisions on protected informations, industrial promotions, R&D supports, education, etc. Anyway, this paper is expected to be helpful for introducing an effective legal scheme on the CIP against EMP threats. domestic rule.

Cyber education fields have been changed a lot with the internee development. One of them is the field of consultation for university admission. As for the business of university admission, there were two ways applicants handed in their applications directly to school which they applied to and to each place to receive applications or sent them through FAX. Recently, highlighted is the internee environment to receive the application for admission which integrated organically the two ways. This paper aims to design and implement a multi-consulting-agent system having intelligence which helps applicants make their right applications for colleges or universities through internet system after guiding a proper department to them.

This study examined preschoolers' usage of internet-games in a family context as well as their level of addiction to these games. Participants in this study were 221 mothers of preschoolers (111 boys, 110 girls) in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Lee's (2006) Internet-Game Addiction Scale for Preschoolers was used to assess preschoolers' level of internet-game addiction. Cho's (2010) questionnaire regarding home environment and internet-games was also administered. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA using SPSS WIN 12.0. Results were as follows: firstly, 74.7% of preschoolers were found to play internet-games. Secondly, the level of internet-game addiction was low, but boys showed higher levels of internet-game addiction than girls. Thirdly, preschoolers' level of internet-game addiction was different according to their number of siblings, time spent using internet-games, that age at which internet-games were first used as well as mother's employment status. Based on the results of this study, the danger of preschoolers' internet-game addiction and future directions of research are discussed.

This research was conducted in order to know how influential the acknowledgment of factors such as the quality of educational contents and the conducting of off-line lectures is in terms of effective learning for leaners. Based on the satisfaction-importance model of the multi-attribute attitude model, this study would like to clarify the degree to which the quality of on-line contents of on-line education and the simultaneous conducting of off-line lectures influences one's learning attitude. On-line contents satisfaction will evaluated through the three categories: audio lectures, video lecture and WEI lectures, which make up the quality of on-line contents. We would also like to do a survey on the transformation of learning attitudes when on-line and off-line lectures were conducted simultaneously.

Earlier program plagiarism check systems are performed by using simple text, attribute or token string base on match techniques. They have difficulties in checking program styles which have nothing to do with program syntax such as indentation, spacing and comments. This paper introduces a plagiarism check model which compares syntax-trees for the given programs. By using syntax-trees, this system can overcome the weekness of filtering program styles and have advantage of comparing the structure of programs by syntax and semantic analysis. Our study introduces syntactic tree creation, unparsing and similarity check algorithms about C/C++ program plagiarism checking for internet cyber education and estimate plagiarism pattern.

The purposes of this study were to explore the gender differences in children's social competence, emotional regulation and maternal parenting behaviors, and to investigate differences between boys and girls in the interrelationships between these kinds of variables. The participants were 214 children in 4 to 6 grades and their teachers from one elementary school in Seoul. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson's correlations, and multiple regressions. The results were as follows: There were statistically significant gender differences in the children's social competence, emotional regulation and maternal parenting behaviors. Children's negative emotion explained boys' and girls' peer social skills, frustration tolerance, and task orientation. Children's positive emotion regulation explained boys' and girls' peer social skills, assertive social skills, and task orientation. Boys, who perceived less maternal supervision, displayed less assertive social skills and task orientation.
