5축 가공에 의한 SCM415 롤러 캠 개발과 표면조도 연구 (A Study on the Development and Surface Roughness of Roller Cam SCM415 by 5-Axis Machining)

  • In this study, we carried out the each lines of section, using GC (green silicon carbide) whetstone, the SCM415 material which separated by after and before heat treatments process, in 3+2 axis machining centers for integrated grinding after cutting end mill works, the spindle speed 8000 rpm and feed rate 150 mm/min. For the analysis of the centerline average roughness (Ra), we measured by 10 steps stages. Using Finite element analysis, we found the result of the load analysis effect of the assembly parts, when applied the 11 kg's load on both side of the ATC (Automatic tool change) arm. The result is as follows. For the centerline average roughness (Ra) in the non-heat treatment work pieces, are appeared the most favorable in the tenth section are $0.510{\mu}m$, that were shown in the near the straight line section which is the smallest deformation of curve. In addition, the bad surface roughness appears on the path is to long by changing angle, the more inclined depth of cut, because the chip discharging is not smoothly.

Ti-Al-Si-N 박막 제작을 위한 합금 타겟 제조 및 박막의 기계적 특성 (Fabrication of Alloy Target for Formation of Ti-Al-Si-N Composite Thin Film and Their Mechanical Properties)

  • Prevailing dissemination of machine tools and cutting technology have caused drastic developments of high speed dry machining with work materials of high hardness, and demands on the high-hardness-materials with high efficiency have become increasingly important in terms of productivity, cost reduction, as well as environment-friendly issue. Addition of Si to TiAlN has been known to form nano-composite coating with higher hardness of over 30 GPa and oxidation temperature over $1,000^{\circ}C$. However, it is not easy to add Si to TiAlN by using conventional PVD technologies. Therefore, Ti-Al-Si-N have been prepared by hybrid process of PVD with multiple target sources or PVD combined with PECVD of Si source gas. In this study, a single composite target of Ti-Al-Si was prepared by powder metallurgy of MA (mechanical alloying) and SPS (spark plasma sintering). Properties of he resulting alloying targets were examined. They revealed a microstructure with micro-sized grain of about $1{\sim}5{\mu}m$, and all the elements were distributed homogeneously in the alloying target. Hardness of the Ti-Al-Si-N target was about 1,127 Hv. Thin films of Ti-Al-Si-N were prepared by unbalanced magnetron sputtering method by using the home-made Ti-Al-Si alloying target. Composition of the resulting thin film of Ti-Al-Si-N was almost the same with that of the target. The thin film of Ti-Al-Si-N showed a hardness of 35 GPa and friction coefficient of 0.66.

  • OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 방식은 주파수 선택적 페이딩 (frequency selective fading)과 협대역 간섭 (narrowband interference)에 강한 전송 방식으로 고속 데이터 통신에 적합하다. 하지만, OFDM 신호는 독립적으로 변조된 많은 부반송파들로 구성되므로 이들이 동위상으로 더해질 때 신호의 진폭이 증가하여 PAPR (Peak-to-Average Power Ratio) 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 OFDM의 PAPR 감소는 물론 고주파 성분 제어를 통하여 대역 외 스펙트럼 방출을 줄이고 clipping에 의한 왜곡을 감소시킬 수 있다. 시뮬레이션 과정을 통해 OFDM 시스템에 제안하는 알고리즘을 적용했을 경우, PAPR의 감소 정도와 PSD (Power Spectral Density), BER (Bit Error Rate)을 분석한다.

Knowledge- Evolutionary Intelligent Machine-Tools - Part 1 : Design of Dialogue Agent based on Standard Platform

  • In FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System) and CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing), machine-tools have been the target of integration in the last three decades. The conventional concept of integration is being changed into the autonomous manufacturing device based on the knowledge evolution by applying advanced information technology in which an open architecture controller, high-speed network and internet technology are included. In the advanced environment, the machine-tools is not the target of integration anymore, but has been the key subject of cooperation. In the near future, machine-tools will be more improved in the form of a knowledge-evolutionary intelligent device. The final goal of this study is to develop an intelligent machine having knowledge-evolution capability and a management system based on internet operability. The knowledge-evolutionary intelligent machine-tools is expected to gather knowledge autonomically, by producing knowledge, understanding knowledge, reasoning knowledge, making a new decision, dialoguing with other machines, etc. The concept of the knowledge-evolutionary intelligent machine is originated from the machine control being operated by human experts' sense, dialogue and decision. The structure of knowledge evolution in M2M (Machine to Machine) and the scheme for a dialogue agent among agent-based modules such as a sensory agent, a dialogue agent and an expert system (decision support agent) are presented in this paper, with intent to develop the knowledge-evolutionary machine-tools. The dialogue agent functions as an interface for inter-machine cooperation. To design the dialogue agent module in an M2M environment, FIPA (Foundation of Intelligent Physical Agent) standard platform and the ping agent based on FIPA are analyzed in this study. In addition, the dialogue agent is designed and applied to recommend cutting conditions and thermal error compensation in a tapping machine. The knowledge-evolutionary machine-tools are expected easily implemented on the basis of this study and shows a good assistance to sensory and decision support agents.

RCB트라이를 이용한 빠른 검색과 소용량 색인 구조에 관한 연구 (A Study on Small-sized Index Structure and Fast Retrieval Method Using The RCB trio)

  • 본 논문에서는 CB 트라이와 HCB 트라이의 단점을 보완한 RCB 트라이를 제안한다. 먼저 CB 트라이의 경우 처음으로 축약된 구조를 시도하였으나 데이터의 양이 증가함에 따라 트리의 균형을 맞추기 위해 사용되는 더미노드들로 인해 삽입에 상당한 어려움을 가지고 있다. 반면 계층적으로 표현한 HCB트라이는 map이 오른쪽으로 증가하는 것을 막기 위해 일정 깊이를 주어 깊이에 다다르면 새로운 트리를 만들어 연결시키는 방법을 이용하였다. 결과적으로 입력과 검색 속도를 상당히 빠르게 진전시킬 수 있었으나 CB트라이와 마찬가지로 더미노드를 사용하고 여러 트리의 링크를 사용하기 때문에 저장공간이 커지는 단점을 안고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 RCB트라이는 더미노드를 완전히 없애 treemap을 약 35%정도 줄일 수 있었고 HCB트라이에 비해 전체 색인의 크기를 절반으로 줄였다.

비정렬 적응 격자계를 이용한 비정상 로터-동체 공력 상호작용 모사 (Simulation of Unsteady Rotor-Fuselage Aerodynamic Interaction Using Unstructured Adaptive Meshes)

  • 3차원 비정렬 격자를 이용한 로터-동체 공력 상호작용에 대한 수치적 해석을 수행하였다. 로터와 동체간의 상대적인 운동을 모사하기 위하여 해석 유동장을 회전하는 부분과 정지된 부분으로 나누어 계산하였다. 블레이드 끝단에서 생성되는 끝단 와류를 포착하기 위하여 준 비정상 적응 격자 기법을 도입하였다. 또한 낮은 속도로 전진 비행하는 헬리콥터 해석을 위해서 저 마하수 예조건화 기법을 적용하였다. 로터-동체 공력 간섭현상에 대한 검증을 위해 Georgia Tech 형상과 NASA에서 실험한 ROBIN 형상에 대한 실험 결과와 비교하여 본 연구 해석 기법이 타당함을 보였다.

TTS기반에서 디지털 서명의 실행 인증을 통한 에이전트의 무결성 보장 기법 (Integrity Guarantee Scheme of Mobile Agents through Authentication of Digital Signature with TTS)

  • 여기는 본 논문은 이동 에이전트의 안전한 수행을 보장하기 위한 TTS기반의 디지털 서명 실행 인증 기법을 제안한다. 즉 기존의 연구의 문제점인 처리과정에서 발생하는 시스템의 처리속도와 네트워크의 트래픽을 개선한다. 또한 효율적이고 안전한 이동 에이전트의 실행과 무결성을 보장하기 위해 디지털 서명을 이용한다. 디지털 서명은 합성함수와 공개키 기반의 암호화 알고리듬 그리고 해시함수를 이용한 인증서 체인을 한다. 그리고 디지털 서명의 인증서 체인을 이용할 경우, 공격자에 의해서 체인을 끊고 새로운 인증서를 생성하여 삽입하는 공격으로부터 안전하게 보호한다. 또한 공격자에 의해 정직한 호스트를 악의적으로 이용될 수 있는 위협으로부터 보호한다. 그리고 컴퓨터 실험을 통해 인증서 처리에 대한 시스템의 처리속도와 실시간 처리를 분석한다. 이러한 분석을 통해서 시스템의 오버헤드와 네트워크의 트래픽에 대한 효율성을 증명한다.

스프링 격발형 생검총 구조를 가진 생검 시술 자동화 로봇 말단장치 (A Robot End-effector for Biopsy Procedure Automation with Spring-Triggered Biopsy Gun Mechanism)

  • Biopsy is a typical needle type intervention procedure performed under radiographic image equipment such as computed tomography (CT) and cone-beam CT. This minimal invasive procedure is a simple and effective way for identifying cancerous condition of a suspicious tissue but radiation exposure for the patients and interventional radiologists is a critical problem. In order to overcome such trouble and improve accuracy in targeting of the needle, there have been various attempts using robot technology. Those devices and systems, however, are not for full procedure automation in biopsy without consideration for tissue sampling task. A robotic end-effector of a master-slave tele-operated needle type intervention robot system has been proposed to perform entire biopsy procedure by the authors. However, motorized sampling adopted in the device has different cutting speed from that of biopsy guns used in the conventional way. This paper presents the design of a novel robotic mechanism and protocol for the automation of biopsy procedure using spring-triggered biopsy gun mechanism. An experimental prototype has been successfully fabricated and shown its feasibility of the automated biopsy sequence.

부속품의 계약제도 적용방안에 관한 연구 (Research on Applying Contracting Systems for repair parts)

  • Supply units in each command are multi-tiered and each supply unit keeps a supply level independently, which can cause excess stock, leading false reports to the Logistics Command and increasing difficulties in managing user needs. This causes excess assets and the excess then causes deformation in demand. therefore, the supply support systems of our armed forces have become high-cost/low-efficiency and are insufficient to meet the needs of users in combat units. Civilian corporations and the US Department of Defense are downsizing the aforementioned multi-tiered supply systems thus revolutionizing efficient and effective logistics by adopting Supply Chain Management(SCM), and Prime Vendor policies. Prime Vendor policy is a logistics support method that allows users to directly request and receive supply items from suppliers, based on supply contracts between suppliers and central maintenance organizations like KDA. In other words, it is a system that allows for users to make orders to suppliers directly and suppliers to deliver goods to the users directly, cutting out the middle stage, thus allowing an efficient supply. This is a way forward in finance that cuts costs in net supplies and allows an efficient utilization of civilian assets. which is also known to fasten the speed of logistical support and stripping down the logistical structure. therefore, this report will explore Prime Vendor policies adopted in certain number of units for medical supplies that were taken in consideration of improvements in stock management in civilian organizations and the US Army, and aims to apply such policies for repair parts.

Preparation of Controlled Release Spheronized Beads by a Simple Extrusion and Modified Spheronization Process

  • Beads loaded with the water-soluble drug, phenylpropanolamine HCl (PPA), were prepared using an extruder and double arm counter-rotating roller modified from a traditional pill machine. The mean diameter of the cylindrical rod-like extrudate from the ram extruder was 3 mm; that of the uncoated bead after cutting and spheronization by the modified double arm counter-rotating roller was 3.26~3.28 mm. Although the surface of the beads was moderately rough and irregular, some exhibited hump-shaped protrusions, the sphericity was acceptable (roundness 1.15) and adequate for the subsequent coating process. An increase in mean diameter of the coated beads and improvements in friability and sphericity were observed in proportion to the amount of coating material applied (ethylcellulose or Eudragit?? RS 100). It was also found that the release rate of PPA from the coated beads could be controlled by the amount and type of coating materials applied or with the incorporation of Eudragit ?? RS 100 into the core matrix. Further modifications to the double arm counter-rotating roller, including adjustment of the rotation speed and distance between the rollers, would yield smaller uncoated beads with improved roundness and surface roughness. In conclusion , the present method could be potentially applied to prepare controlled release drug delivery beads or pellet dosage forms.
