The purposes of this study was to develop household debt management education and counseling programs. The issues related with the consumer use of credit were identified and the selected programs of the United States were analyzed to develop the education and counseling programs for Korean households. Curriculums for the debt management education in three subjects and the process for debt counseling were suggested. Debt management education program included the issues related to general credit management strategy, credit card usage, and debt burden. For debt counseling, worksheets of problem identification, budget analysis, and action planning were developed.

This study has described information literacy standards have been chosen for teaching students the methods for developing the information competency, closely connected with other subjects in school curriculums beyond the traditional school library users education. According to the Bloom's educational objective texonomy, the information literacy standards have been classified into two domains, cognitive domain and affective domain, and investigated. Desirable information literacy standards have been developed and chosen.

The purpose of this article is to introduce the gifted education of mathematics in Korea. We first discuss what is going on in Korea for mathematics education for gifted students. The curriculums for the institutes for gifted education are mentioned. Some focus of this article is proposing some teaching materials that are actively utilizing many basic concents of cryptography and super-string theory, along with careful use of calculators and computers. Many of the materials haven been designed with problem-posing approach on through invoking the cognitive conflict.

The constitutional court decide a negative expression in their judgement. It is a dismissal. In the dismissal, they suggest that the legislative body can resolve it and Parliament can an enactment or not for the physical therapist. Therefore, dismissal of constitutional court is not only dismissal but also it is a suggestion for legislation. Another suggestion of the constitutional court that study about curriculums of physical therapy department, duration of education, relation of between medical doctor and physical therapist, work contents of physical therapy and effect on national health.

We have studied the issues of the current math war in America. Traditionalists and the reformers have been arguing about the curriculums, teaching methods, use of calculators, basic skills, and assessment methods in K-12 mathematics. They both have strengths and weaknesses depending on the situation have contributed for the development of mathematics education. Instead of choosing between traditionalists and the reformist sides, we suggest to adopt an eclectic view point i.e., rigor and creativity, memorization and understanding that may seem at odds with each other are quite compatible and mutually reinforcing. Also teacher's deep knowledge in mathematics is extremely important as his/her knowledge in pedagogy.

The purpose of this paper is to attract electrical and electronic engineering community's attention to electromagnetic nondestructive testing (NDT). Various electromagnetic NDT methods of detecting defects in materials are presented to help understand the underlying physics associated with these techniques. This understanding would provide a way to interpret the test signal to describe about the defect. In the meantime, the author hopes, one may realize how perfectly fit such a subject as electromagnetic NDT is to current curriculums of electrical and electronic engineering.

In this paper we compared and analyzed the Korean and German mathematics textbooks for the middle school students. For the research we investigated only the area of algebra, which is consisted of the three sections-section of numbers and arithmetic operations, section of letters and expressions, and section of rules and functions. We expect that this paper would contribute on the development of the whole area in our nation's mathematical educations, including the organization and exploitation of the curriculums for the middle school students.

With the changes in the pharmacy curriculum from a 4 year program to a 6 year program in 2009, a new subject called Pharmacy Practice Experience (PPE) has been launched into the curriculum. The purpose of introducing this subject is to increase the competency of new pharmacy graduates in providing quality healthcare to the community. This study has been done, via comparison among different pharmacy schools in Canada and Korea, to ensure that the competency of future Korean pharmacists can be increased with the introduction of this subject. In general, the Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) in Korea consists of 60 hours while Canada consists of 320 hours (minimum). Furthermore, the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) required in Korea is 1340 hours while Canada requires minimum of 960 hours. Specifically, comparing the Korean PPE curriculum to the PPE curriculums of University of Toronto (UT) and University of Waterloo (UW), UT and UW required a minimum of 75% and 89% direct clinical patient care experience respectively, either in hospital or community setting, compared to 45% in Korea; the remaining percentage in any of the universities can be fulfilled by taking other electives that may not require direct patient care experience. Observing these differences, it seems clear that the current PPE experience in Canada takes more of a patient focused approach than in Korea. Thus, with the recent movement in the Korean pharmacy community towards a more patient focused approach rather than a product focused approach, it would be beneficial to learn the differences between the PPE curriculums in Korea and Canada and apply any new understandings to the relatively newly introduced PPE program in Korea to further enhance the value of the new curriculum in helping to deliver quality patient care.
