It was analysed that the 43 guidebooks(2009 Educational activities and materials guidebooks for kindergarten, 11 and the Nuri curriculum teacher guidebooks for the age of 3-5, 32) were analysed using the UCINET 6 program with multicultural education contents frameworks. The findings were as follows: First, multicultural contents' density is connected to life theme of the Nuri curriculum was higher than the 2009 kindergarten curriculum. And life theme with high connectivity was 'I and my family' in the 2009 kindergarten curriculum and 'animals, plants and nature'(3 years old), 'kindergarten and friends' & 'I and my family'(4-5 years old) in the Nuri curriculum. Second, the highest connection content was 'having interests in culture' & 'knowing similarities and differences' in the 2009 kindergarten curriculum, and 'having interests in culture' & 'promoting a sense of community' in the Nuri curriculum. • In order to facilitate the process of designing a fusion curriculum, this study used the learning outcomes presented in KEC2015 to design a fusion goal dimension. The three dimensions of fusion education in the fusion curriculum framework are fusion goals, fusion approach and fusion context. As a result of examining the curriculum learning activities in order to confirm that the developed curriculum meets these three dimensions, it can be confirmed that it contributes relatively evenly to the fusion goal, fusion approach and fusion context dimension. In addition, it provides a procedure to develop the fusion curriculum through the concrete procedures and examples from the design to implementation of the developed fusion curriculum, and to confirm the result of the fusion dimension.

And then the conceptional inquiry activity is about 2.3 times as many as the inquiry experiment. 3) According to the analysis of each inquiry task by SIEI. textbook A has 268, textbook B 328, textbook C 207 and textbook D 304. 4) In the analysis of the structure of inquiry activity, the evaluation of the competition and cooperation scale shows more emphasis on common tasks. no pooled results(87.1 %). • The purpose of this study is to find out the level relevance of the kindergarten curriculum in terms of the kindergarten and elementary school curriculum articulation. For this purpose, a model was developed to assess the level relevance of the curriculum. Next, the achievement standards of the curriculum were analyzed by using this model. Finally, teachers' guidebooks were analyzed, too. The following results were obtained from the analysis. First, five of the 14 achievement standards are rated as 'relevant', and nine of them were 'irrelevant'. Also, six of the irrelevant achievement standards were rated as 'overlap', two of them were rated as 'retrogression', and one of them was rated as 'gap'. I found a lot of problems with the level relevance in the kindergarten curriculum. As the results to analyze teachers' guidebooks, I found that there were the great frequency difference in the activities of teachers' guidebooks.

  • This paper investigated the effect of music and science integrated activities using instruments designed to test both musical concept and science inquiry process skills of children. The subjects of this study consisted of two classes of children aged 5 at H Kindergarten in Busan city. This study involved a class of 31 children using a music and science integrated curriculum as the experimental group and another class of 32 children using a traditional music and science curriculum as the control group. The integrated activities were used 12 times over a 6-week period. A test was taken to evaluate the effects of the integrated activities on the children's understanding on seven sub-categories of musical concepts and six sub-categories of science inquiry process skills. The results were that the experimental group showed significantly higher improvements in all subcategories of musical concept and science inquiry process skills, compared to the control group. Based on these results, we concluded that these integrated activities were effective in the development of both musical concepts and the science inquiry process skills of children.
