The paradigm of SW industry has been rapidly changing into mobile and cloud technology environment. Research model based on PEST-SWOT analysis was employed to derive internal and external factors connected with PEST factors through analyzing the current status and problems of SW HRD system in Korea. Survey was conducted by 20 experts who are involved in SW companies, university, and R&D research institute using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) model. The empirical result showed that SW fusion HRD, creativity-oriented university education in the field of software, global education and exchange, and revitalization of SW venture ecosystem are derived as policy visions of SW HRD for smart industry ecosystem. Another findings are that SW fusion HRD, revitalization of SW venture ecosystem, Job Creation through revitalization of SW start-up, Creation of coexistence between SW large enterprises and SMEs, creativity-oriented university education in the field of software, and global education and exchange are presented in order in terms of the importance of policy priority.

This paper is about implementation issues for use of the Internet technology in education. An examination of the current status of virtual university provides guidance for subsequent prototype development. A virtual university is the Internet based process by which students increase their specific knowledge and skills via electronic interaction with content and people. Virtual university enables colleges and universities to provide students and faculty with network access to courseware and educational materials on multimedia servers free from time and geography constraints. In this paper, we present a prototype instruction support system (ISS). The ISS consists of the following components in architecture: Internet, software, hardware, database systems, users, and workflow. The ISS also assists several functions as follows: lecture notes, register processes, attendance checks, built-in boards, grading systems, questions and answers, electronic libraries, chats, and search engines. Our work will provide a guideline for the development of a virtual classroom for distance education and learning.

Disaster safety education that can respond when a disaster occurs is very important in Korea, where many human resources are generated due to safety insensitivity. Recently, with the development of virtual reality devices and manufacturing technology, the possibility of using a training system incorporating virtual reality technology in the field of safety education is attracting attention. The virtual training system is very effective for training and education because it has an excellent sense of immersion and allows you to experience various disaster situations without time and space limitations. In this study, cases of disaster safety virtual training contents in Korea are collected and investigated, and the current status of domestic disaster safety virtual training contents is identified and analyzed to identify problems and suggest improvement plans.

Recently, interest in safety education based on VR has been increasing, but it started rising doubts are growing over its effectiveness. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis project is to research the current status of safety education contents based on VR and present situations and future prospects for safety education based on VR. As a result of researching about safety education contents using VR, the movement or condition of characters in the contents in the VR environment was very unnatural. Especially, in simulations such as driving a VR device, the controller was skeptical about its efficiency because the operation was different from the actual environment. As a result, we would like to make suggestions and forecasts as follows: First, the production of real and twin environment in VR should be realized. Second, the natural movement of the character should be performed. Third, various controllers should be released in VR devices. Fourth, a realistic scenario should be developed.

The purpose of this study is to explore the implications for the systematic operation of the AI curriculum by analyzing the current status of the AI major curriculum in universities. To this end, This study analyzed the relevant curriculum of domestic universities(a total of 51 schools) and overseas QS Top 10 universities based on the industry demand-based standard of AI major curriculum developed through prior research. The main research results are as follows. First, in the case of domestic universities, Python-centered programming subjects were lacking. Second, there were few subjects for advanced learning such as AI application and convergence. Third, the subjects required to perform the AI developer job were insufficient. Fourth, in the case of colleges, the ratio of AI mathematics-related subjects was low. Based on these results, this study presented implications for the systematic operation of the AI major education.

Data science is a scientific discipline that defines problems while finding meaningful information from collected data to solve problems. Along with artificial intelligence technology, the field of data utilization is gradually expanding, and awareness of the importance of data science education is also increasing. Despite the rapid growth of the domestic data industry market, it has recently been predicted that the shortfall of data experts will reach 31.4% within the next 5 years according to an analysis of the current status of the data industry by the Korea Data Agency. In the field of elementary education, various studies have been conducted to introduce data science in order to improve students' computational thinking and creativity. This paper proposed the contents of data science lectures developed for the purpose of educating elementary school teachers, who are mostly non-majors in the computer field. The developed contents were applied to a group of elementary school teachers attending graduate school for artificial intelligence convergence education. Points for improvement were derived by identifying the contents that were difficult for learners to understand and analyzing the causes of difficulty.

This study utilized qualitative research to understand the changes taking place in adolescent dietary behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic and the current status of school-provided nutrition counseling. These, along with barriers and strategies for improvement, were derived from focus group interviews with 10 nutrition teachers. Throughout the pandemic, adolescents experienced various dietary problems, including frequent meal skipping, unbalanced diets, increased obesity, and difficulties building positive attitudes towards food. To resolve these dietary problems, nutrition teachers recognized the need for school-provided nutrition counseling. However, nutrition teachers faced various barriers, such as a lack of time for nutrition counseling among students, lack of support from parents, and insufficient space and resources. To revitalize school-provided nutrition counseling, strategies such as home-connected nutrition counseling, the development of standardized guidelines, manuals for school-provided nutrition counseling, software support for nutrition diagnosis, and implementation of nutrition counseling in connection with cooking activities were proposed. This is important as school-provided nutrition counseling can help develop the foundation for healthy dietary behaviors and health promotion in adolescents.

The purpose of this study is to analyze objectively the current state of preparation of SW education in Korea based on the survey of educational technology of elementary and secondary school which is investigated periodically every year. For this purpose, we extracted indicators related to SW education from educational technology level indicators such as human, material, and utilization and analyzed the change in the level of domestic educational technology level from 2014 to 2016. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the ratio of teachers who have informatics teacher certificates among middle school informatics teacher is continuously decreasing from 2014(71%) to 2016(54%), and the number of information and the number of informatics teachers moving from informatics subject to other subjects is steadily increasing. On the other hand, there is a paradoxical situation in which the total number of teachers in informatics subject is continuously increasing for three years. Secondly, the total amount of ICT related budgets for elementary and secondary schools has been steadily decreasing since 2014. Thirdly, The ratio of informatics(computer) related creative activities in elementary schools dropped to 87.7% in 2015 and 84.6% in 2016. Also, the ratio of informatics subject operating school in middle school is gradually decreasing from 34.8% in 2014, 30.8% in 2015, and 28.2% in 2016. Based on the results of this analysis, this study suggested a method for stable settlement of SW education in elementary and secondary public education field.

The need for integration of knowledge and technology among SMEs has been acknowledged, and lacks ways of convergence in practical education. Therefore contents of convergence in practical education of high quality are needed. In this study, a case-oriented curriculum and contents were developed to enhance employee's skills of SMEs. The curriculum consists of 3 steps. The first step is analysis of trends and current status of convergence of SMEs in the domestic and foreign areas. Thus drawing up measures of standards to analyze a successful case. The second step is collection of materials, and development of models through successful cases of convergence. The third step is the analysis of a curriculum to enhance employees' of SMEs and the development of an education program. This study may lead to strengthening competition of SMEs through knowledge and technology convergence based on developed curriculum.

The purpose of this research is to build a mid- and long-term strategic plan for strengthening the status of Gangwon Metropolitan Office of Education as public libraries with the main functions of education, knowledge and culture in the community and helping facilitate the local growth. The current status and needs of Gangwon Metropolitan Office of Education was analyzed with a review of literature and websites, various library statistics, and user surveys and professional focus group interviews conducted during November and December 2019. Based on this analysis, a mission, vision, objectives, strategies, and main tasks of Gangwon Metropolitan Office of Education were established, and 4 strategic goals and 16 major projects were drawn to strengthen the strategic basis of 22 libraries, build specialized collections with a focus on education, recreate user-friendly spaces, and promote services, distinguished from public libraries under the supervision of Gangwon local government. It was necessary for Gangwon Metropolitan Office of Education to enhance and strengthen all of Hardware, Software and Human-ware, equipped with well-organized library building and facilities, collection and services, and professional librarians. In this research, the direction of a mid- and long-term strategic plan was presented for its dynamic operation and sustainable development in the future.
