The purpose of this article is to explore the modern branding - its nature, history, originality, spirit and value to consumers. In particular, graphic design of the brand is an important component in terms of the modern European culture. The scientific novelty of the work implies the study of the contemporary design, which widely embraces the sphere of cultural and social life and can contribute to the development of progressive phenomena in society, as the design can literally be defined as a rethinking, a search for new meanings. The design itself is a versatile means of communication at the level of feelings and meanings. One of its main goals is the harmonization, and even formation of perception of the world, creation of new images or rethinking the essence of ordinary things. Culture and art can be said to be an important medium that enhances people's creativity and satisfies our desire for cultural experience as well as emotional cultivation. These arts and culture are spreading all over the world through Hallyu, etc. to this day, and it is naturally positioned as an industry that creates the highest added value. However, rapid industrialization and development of industrialization also provided many negative causes, such as damage to nature due to the decline of factories and equipment industries, pollution and damage to the surrounding environment due to the use of fossil fuels. Therefore, in this study, we investigated the factors necessary for improving the image of the local community and maximizing tourism classes by actively utilizing the idle space abandoned due to industrialization and industrialization as a complex space for culture and art. As a result, empirical analysis was conducted through a total of six factors excluding typology through factor analysis. The results showed that reliability, certainty, and empathy had a positive effect, but responsiveness did not. In addition, the economic effect was found to have a positive effect on customer satisfaction.

The purpose of this research is to make a basic study of a small theater planned to be built on the university campus for the exclusive use of performing arts. For this, the documents and records of small theaters in Seoul was first reviewed. And then, some selected theaters among small theaters opened since 2000 was examined and analyzed by their blueprints, design maps and actual measurement on the spot. Since 1990s, the increase in per capital income, the advancement of culture and arts, and the accompanying increase in demand have prompted universities to open performing arts courses. Going beyond the concept of a multipurpose auditorium a space devoted to professional performances has been increasingly needed by many universities. Small theaters that have been the subjects of study have become extinct or changed for other uses due to the rapid changes in the performing environment. This research examined theaters that have opened since 2000 and analyzed the data on their stages and seats. This study is intended for providing preliminary data for building of a small theater on the university campus.

Furniture is a medium to interconnect the living space to human, and it is the closest environmental element that limits the functions of the space, defines the style of the living, and adjusts the actions and behaviors of human. Therefore the furniture can be said to be one of the craft arts that reflects the culture and living style as they are according to the periodical, regional, and social stratum characteristics. Within this context, this study tries to suggest new design and living culture that can harmonize with the modern residence living culture and incorporate the traditional varnishing technique with lacquer that had been discontinued. Coming to the modern days, the varnishing with lacquer is getting attention again with its environment friendly characteristics and antibiotic functions, and is being applied to various applications. To inherit and maintain such an excellent traditional culture, I would like to improve the practicality by applying to modern furniture, and to contribute to develop and tell the world about the superiority of our culture.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the attitudes and perception of Yeosu citizen towards cultural arts and city policy of Yeosu for establishing the culture city. The results of the study shows that first, the citizens of Yeosu is dissatisfied with the local culture and arts. It is necessary to provide a variety of cultural arts space, and the facility for the citizen. Second, the citizens are dissatisfied with their culture and arts policy and administration. For successful promotion of urban cultural art as well as the for successful hosting of the 2012 Yeosu World Expo, the policy to participate of local people in the culture and arts administration should proceed. Third, as the policy of culture and arts city of Yeosu, the established facilities for the World Expo 2012 should be transformed and be leased out for small-scale of local arts and cultural events. Finally, the study shows that opportunities for artistic creation and cultural activities should be available to local artists and the opportunity to participate for the arts is necessary to expand for Yeosu citizens.

The purpose of this study is to explore the issues and alternatives in the promotion of space and exhibition support projects in visual arts, and to suggest an applicable direction of the government grant program. For this study, FGI and in-depth interviews were conducted in the direct beneficiaries of the grant program, the staff of the grant program, and the group of visual arts expert. As a result, the deliberation and selection of the support project should be carried out with sufficient time in consideration of the specificity of the support project. And the project requires to divide into two kinds of the projects based on the understanding of the social role and differentiation of non-profit exhibition spaces and private art museums. For the grant application and assessments, a long-term support is necessary to bring the capability and issues in efficient allocation of the budget, flexibility of budget item, and the budget shortfalls. Furthermore, the reliability between the grant program and beneficiaries needs to form a healthy partnership, and the evaluation criteria and eNARADOEUM system should be more practical and rationally established. Through this analysis, the implications of understanding the specificity of visual arts support projects, establishment of sustainable visual arts creation policies, and budget utilization were derived. Consequently, cultural and artistic support projects were directed to place more emphasis on efficiency than control, direction considering the position of consumers than suppliers, and long-term business planning rather than short-term perspective.

Purpose: This study started with interest in sport culture and is meaningful as an exploratory study to help with the basic understanding of sport culture research. Research design, data, and methodology: The approach of this study is the exploratory approach by literature reviews. This study carried out exploratory research on thinking about diversity of sports culture and the development process of sports culture by human history periods. Results: First, in thinking about cultural diversity, cultural absolutism and cultural relativism were identified. The characteristics of sports culture can identify universality, individuality and diffusion, and the attributes of sports culture included sharing, learning, accumulation, whole systematic relationship and change. Second, the characteristics of sports culture were identified by the approach of each historical era. The historical stages were divided into ancient civilizations, ancient Greece and Rome, middle ages and early modern period, and late modern period. Sports have historically been found to have a British-centered European origin or popularized in the United States. Conclusions: with the characteristics of modern sports culture, the globalization of sports culture, the prominence of sports industry and sports space marketing, and the symbiotic influence relationship of sports and mass media were examined and future directions were discussed.

The article discusses the use of modern technologies in the learning process. It has been determined that the modern period of the development of society is characterized by a strong influence of computer technologies on it, a new education system is being formed, focused on entering the world information and educational space. This process is accompanied by significant changes in the pedagogical theory and practice of the educational process associated with making adjustments to the content of learning technologies, which should be adequate to modern technical capabilities, and contribute to the harmonious entry of a teenager into the information society. Part of public arts, environmental sculpture not only enhance the beauty of a building, but also a landmark having intimate values with the city environment and symbolic meanings. 'Space storytelling' is not only a connecting bridge between the space and human, but also plays a role in promoting creation of story like a catalyst. Storytelling is expanding to many related industries and one of which is artistic structure, and the storytelling of residental space is getting widely applied to establish the competitive superiority. The purpose of this study involves logically examination the service deliver process of space storytelling based on the residential space. And this study expected to research the influencing factors about purchase and service delivery process of artistic structure.

In June, the City of Seoul held a design competition for $\ulcorner$Seoul Park$\lrcorner$in Paris to promote friendly relations with its sister city. The purpose of this paper is to articulate the design concept of a scheme submitted by the author. The author interpreted the object of this design competition as follows: if we regards a park not as one of urban planning facilities but as a space for expressing a culture, $\ulcorner$Seoul Park$\lrcorner$in Paris is a space expressing Korean culture, or a culture of the City of Seoul in Paris, France. Three points were emphasized in this scheme: 1. Physical and non-physical aspects of Korean culture, or a culture of the City of Seoul were expressed separately. In physical part, a traditional Korean garden was reappeared to express its authenticity compared to its counterpart, French classical garden - its formal and grand style. In nonphysical part, Seoul's features and its citizen's facial expression were engraved on 'free standing walls' named 'Seoul Expression'. In addition, Korean traditional and modern performing arts will be performed in a square named as 'Seoul madang' surrounded by the free standing walls. 2. A space clearly divided by the fence was necessary to distinguish a traditional Korean garden from the place which looks like an amusement park. Traditional wall, mounding and pine tree groves were included. 3. Bamboo grove with the way taking a walk was introduced. The author expected that Parisian feels oriental mystery, the sound of wind, and the time lag of past and present in this sounding bamboo grove.
