The number of foreign residents is expected to increase with the increase of international marriage in rural area and the avoidance of 3D jobs, which is also anticipated to cause various problems more serious. This kind of phenomenon will bring about the increase of the students from the multi-cultural families and a big change in the schools along with the decrease of the students in rural area. Currently, school's interest in and support for those students from multi-cultural families are focused on the promotion of their learning capability. However, I think that not just the support for the students from multi-cultural families but a new space for the two student-groups' smooth communication in schools is to be arranged. Accordingly, this study suggests. The support limited to educational programs for those students from multi-cultural families should be expanded to the school facilities. What kind of preparation should be done by school facilities in the future. There should be five steps of intermediate space with the additional function other than that of communication between Korean native students and those from multi-cultural families along with the utilization of existing rooms and space.

According to the growing interest in the digital convergence throughout society, the convergence of creative and new forms is emerging recently in various fields. Research methods to explore the diversity of academic studies have been studied in the field of study. As one of these methods, research on electronic cultural atlas that has features of convergence studies is gradually spreading. In this paper, we examine existing electronic cultural atlas and then, compare and analyze them. In details, existing electronic cultural atlas are comparative analyzed on the basis of base map, interface, and function. Through the results of comparative analysis, the efficient production of electronic cultural atlas are examined.

The current research utilized as its target population who are current users of web based information system in Korea. The research validated the dimensions by studying he constructs within the context of the web based information system user population. Correlation was found between Flow dimensions retained as components of a ross-Cultural Model. It was determined that these two dimensions-Intrinsic Interest and Control-are significant predictors of user success. The Cross-Cultural Model was validated, and it is therefore suggested as a basis for further study of user success indicators in he cross-cultural enterprise environment.

This study aimed to provide data for planning of a small-sized complex-cultural facility for not only artists but also the common. The main interest of the study was to make them understand spirit related to the culture to each other. The data was collected from 100 artists in various art fields and 100 the common by a questionnaire and a visiting survey. The result of this study indicated that people had a little of chance to share their cultural opinions with others because there were not enough appropriate places even though they wanted it. Besides, they would like to use the place for their communication which consists of a range of their needs such as watching a play, listening to music, spending tea-time, etc.

The representative cultural heritage showing relatively clearly the growth and development of the Mahan culture in Jeollabuk-do is the tombs in Sangun-ri, Wanju. The tombs were excavated in the early 2000s; however, little effort has since been made to investigate or preserve the wider area around the tombs. Thus, only the status quo has been maintained except for the conservation of a few relic parks. In recent years, active cultural management has become necessary to maintain the historic areas in the Mahan cultural region, so these tombs are once again receiving attention. To further the preservation efforts in the area, it is important to actively discuss budget adjustments, consider additional investigation, and re-examine the academic value of the historic site. Practical limitations mean that it is necessary to approach the conservation strategy in stages. The first step is to have the areas of cultural interest and any adjacent lands urgently designated as provincially protected cultural heritage. Consequently, historically important areas on private land should be identified and purchased. Thereafter, a preservation plan should be established to reinforce the historical value of the sites as nationally designated historic sites. This can be achieved through the restoration of the landscape adjacent to the historic sites, as well as additional investigations and designation of sites in surrounding areas. These goals can only be achieved with the active interest and support of relevant institutions.

This study aimed at developing tea furniture with beauty of traditional Korean furniture. As the population which drinks tea increases day by day in the light of LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) era, the importance of the tea culture has been brought out and the interest of the pieces has increased with the cultural space. But the study is still not only insufficient for Korean tea cultural space, it is but also hard for us to find such pieces as holding the original culture's charm. Thus, after studying concepts and spatial qualities of the tea cultural space based on the traditional culture and after investigating the tea objects including the integral parts, a piece of tea shelf with table which hits the emotion of Korea necessary to tea cultural space was created with solid wood. As a result, if we rediscover and develop the tea pieces with beauty of traditional Korean furniture mentioned as the green furniture, the objects will be standing on tiptoe as contemporary tea pieces conveying the identity of Korea. In addition, they will have a competitiveness across the world pursuing LOHAS beyond well-being.

The purpose of this study is to present foundational data to promote the cultural welfare status of youth. The actual condition of the youth's cultural welfare was investigated by investigating the degree of youth's cultural welfare satisfaction and needs by regional groups. A total of 1486 questionnaires were used for the final data analysis. The analysis revealed the following results. 1. Actual conditions of adolescents cultural welfare. 1) Among various cultural activities, adolescents find leisure and social activity, artistic, mass media and video-media activities very boring and one-sided, Instead, they have greater interest in computer- and Internet-related activities, such as getting and sharing information and communication. 2) While adolescents living in urban areas benefit from well developed social infra-structure, those living in rural areas seldom take advantage of it. 3) The obstacles against cultural welfare of the youth can be categorized as: 'lack of money,' 'lack of time,' and 'lack of cultural facilities. ' In urban areas 'lack of time' becomes an issue, whereas in rural areas 'lack of money' and 'lack of cultual facilities' are important. 2. Degree of cultural welfare satisfaction of the youths. Youths generally appear either 'unsatisfied' or 'neutral' concerning their satisfaction degree about leisure and social activity parts, and art and play-activity paris. On the other hand, they appear 'neutral' concerning their satisfaction degree about computer- and Internet-related information and communication parts, and mass- and video-media activity parts. In addition, urban youths show a higher degree of satisfaction than rural youths. 3. What the youths need To improve their culture welfare status, they need a lot of supplements for cultural activity in the form of cultural infra-structure. Regarding the cultural infra-structure, rural youths need more than urban youths.
