창의적 문제해결능력 신장을 위한 알고리즘 기반 학습 콘텐츠 개발 (Development of an Algorithm-Based Learning Content for Improve in Creative Problem-Solving Abilities)

  • Education is focused on how to nurture creative problem-solving skills talent in rapidly changing information society. The algorithm education of computer science is effective in improvement of students' logical thinking and problem solving capability. However, the algorithm education is very difficult to teach in elementary students level. Because it is difficult to understand abstract characteristic of algorithm. Therefore we developed educational contents based on the principle of the algorithm for improve students' logical thinking and problem-solving capability in this study. And educational contents contain interesting elements of the game. So, students will be interested in algorithm learning and participate actively through developed educational contents. Furthermore, students' creative problem-solving capability may improve through algorithm learning.

PEOE 수업모형을 적용한 수업이 학습자의 장·단기 파지 및 정의적 영역에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of PEOE-Based Class on Learners' Long- and Short-Term Retention and Affective Area)

  • The purpose of this study is to apply the PEOE class model that can enhance students' scientific creative problem-solving ability and self-directed learning ability in the middle school science subject and analyze the effects of it on students' long- and short-term retention, scientific creative problem-solving ability, and self-directed learning characteristics. And the paper has gained the following results: First, according to the result of analysis through the pre-test, post-test, and delay test to examine the effects of PEOE-based class on learners' long- and short-term retention, it is found to be statistically significant in the significant level of .05. In other words, the class using PEOE influences learners' short-term retention significantly, but it is even more effective in transmitting the concept that students acquire into their long-term memory. Second, according to the result of analysis through the pre-test and post-test to examine the effects of PEOE-based class on learners' scientific creative problem-solving ability, it is found to be statistically significant in the significant level of .05 in general. However, 'elaboration' and 'originality', the subfactors of scientific creative problem-solving ability, do not indicate significant effects. Third, according to the result of analysis through the pre-test and post-test to examine the effects of PEOE-based class on learners' self-directed learning characteristics, it is found to be statistically significant in the significant level of .05 as a whole. However, 'openness' and 'future-oriented self-understanding', the subfactors of self-directed learning characteristics, do not exert significant effects. Based on the above study results, it can be concluded that PEOE-based class is more effective for learners' academic achievement in science, scientific creative problem-solving ability, and self-directed learning characteristics than lecture-method instruction regarding the middle school science unit of 'The Properties of Air and Weather Change'.

초등과학에서 창의적 문제 해결 수업 적용에 따른 학습자 유형에 대한 효과 (The Effects on Students' Leaning Types through the Creative Problem Solving Teaching Model in Elementary Science Class)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyse of the effects on students' leaning types through the Creative Problem Solving Teaching Model in elementary science class. The results of this study were as follows; 1. experimental group in creative problem solving, scientific inquiry skills and academic achievement was higher than control group which was statistically significant (p<.05). 2. for the students' learning type the experimental group was distributed to accommodators (35.7%), divergers (25.0%), convergers (25.0%) and assimilators (14.3%). 3. after the program treatment, assimilator type group students in creative problem solving were higher than other type group students. 4. diverger and assimilator group students in academic achievement, diverger group students in scientific inquiry skills, and accommodator group students in scientific attitude were higher than other groups.

대학 창업교육의 고도화를 위한 창의적 문제해결역량교육에 대한 고찰: 해외의 교육정책 및 사례분석의 시사점 (A Study on the Creative Problem-Solving Education in Entrepreneurship Education of Higher Educational Institutions: Lessons and Implications From Leading Countries' Educational Policies and Cases)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 창업교육에 있어 중요한 창의적 문제해결역량에 관한 연구를 살펴보고, 해외의 창의적 문제해결역량교육 관련 정책과 우수 대학의 교과과정 사례를 분석하여 국내의 창의적 문제해결역량교육의 문제점을 극복하기 위한 교육의 프레임워크 및 대학의 역할에 대하여 시사점을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 이에 문제해결 역량에 관한 기존 연구들과 해외 국가 및 대학의 문제해결 교육 정책 및 교육과정 사례를 중심으로 창의적 문제해결역량교육을 위한 프레임워크를 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 창의적 문제해결역량교육 프레임워크는 크게 문제정의, 문제해결방법, 결과적용의 체계로 다음과 같은 구성을 포함한다. 첫째, 창의적 문제해결 교육의 첫 번째 단계인 이론기반 교육과 지속적인 지도와 멘토링의 구성이다. 둘째, 해외대학에서 교육의 주요 정책으로 내세우는 팀기반 학습법이다. 셋째, 체계적인 교육과정평가 개발이다. 넷째, 현장 연계형 및 융합형 패러다임의 구축이다. 이러한 프레임워크를 통해 국내 창의적 문제해결역량교육의 시사점을 국가, 대학, 교과과정 설계차원으로 제시하고, 창업교육과의 상호관계 및 융합의 중요성을 제시한다.

액션러닝 교수설계에 의한 창의적 문제해결 교과의 학습성과 (Effects of an Action Learning based Creative Problem-Solving Course for Nursing Students)

  • Purpose:This study was conducted to identify the effects of an action learning based creative problem-solving (CPS) course on problem solving, creativity and team-member exchange in nursing students. Methods: A quasi-experimental study applying a non-equivalent control group pre-post design was employed. Sophomore nursing students (32 in the experimental group and 33 in the control group) were recruited from a university in G-city, Korea. Problem solving, creativity and team-member exchange were measured for the pretest and posttest using self-report questionnaires. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Chi-square, Fisher's exact test, t-test, and ANCOVA with SPSS/Win 20.0 program were used to analyze the data. Results: The scores for problem solving, creativity and team-member exchange in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group. Conclusion: Results of this study indicate that an action learning based CPS course is an effective teaching method to improve nursing students' competencies. In the future longitudinal studies are needed to assess the long term effects of the course.

대학생을 위한 창의적 문제해결 기반 학습컨설팅 모형 개발 및 적용효과 (Development and Implementation Effect of a Learning Consulting Model Based on Creative Problem Solving for University Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 창의적 문제해결(CPS) 기반으로 대학생을 위한 학습컨설팅 모형을 개발하고 나아가 이의 실증적 효과를 검증하는 것이었다. 창의적 문제해결 기반 학습컨설팅 모형은 ADDIE 모형에 근거하여 개발하였다. 분석과정에서 컨설팅 과정과 내용 영역을 확인하여 구성요소를 추출하고, 설계과정에서는 모형의 목적에 적합한 컨설팅 과정과 세부내용을 구체화하였다. 개발과정에서는 구체화된 내용으로 창의적 문제해결 기반 학습컨설팅 주요과정과 세부과정 및 주요활동을 구조화하였다. 그리고 실행과정에서는 개발된 모형을 대학생 15명에게 적용하여 모형의 효과성을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 평가과정에서는 학습컨설팅전문가 4명을 포커스 그룹으로 구성하여 인터뷰 한 다음 모형 타당도 검증을 거쳐 최종모형을 개발하였다. 그리고 최종모형을 대학생 20명에게 적용한 결과 자기주도학습능력과 창의적 문제해결능력이 통제집단에 비해 향상되었음을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 창의적 문제해결 기반 학습컨설팅 모형 개발 및 활용에 대한 시사점과 제한점을 논의하였다.

창의적 생산력의 하위 요소 탐색 및 수학영재의 창의적 문제해결 모델 개발 (The Research on Developing Model of Creative Problem Solving for the Mathematically Gifted)

  • 창의적 생산력 신장은 우리나라 영재교육의 목표 중 하나로, 실제 영재교육 현장에서의 학습-지도 및 평가 활동의 주요 초점이 여기에 맞춰져 있다. 수학영재교육의 목표와 교육 활동도 다르지 않으며 이를 위해 수학영재의 창의적 생산력을 어떻게 정의하고 어떤 과정을 통해 이를 신장시킬 것인지에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이 연구는 수학영재의 특성과 능력을 정의하고 파악하는 데에는 어떤 특화된 능력 요소가 고려되어야 할 것인지 고찰하여 창의적 생산력의 하위요소를 인지적 능력, 창의적 문제해결을 해 낼 수 있는 수행능력, 그리고 스스로의 정의적 특성이나 정서적 요인을 조정하고 인지, 수행 과정을 모니터링, 조정, 운영하는 메타-조정능력으로 구분하였다. 이에 창의적 생산력 발현의 핵심과정이 되는 창의적 문제해결 과정을 설명하고 실제 학습-지도 과정에서 활용하기 위한, 수학영재의 창의적 생산력 신장을 위한 방안 모색의 일환으로서 수학영재의 창의적 문제해결 모델을 제시하였다.

산업체 애로기술을 활용한 TRIZ 기반 창의적문제해결방법론 교과목 개선 (Improvement of Creative Solving Problem Method Curriculum based TRIZ Using Industrual Bottleneck Techniques)

  • It is very necessary to have a creative problem-solving capacities to learn various majors and liberal arts based on the major, and to solve the bottleneck techniques led by students. In this study, the existing creative problem-solving curriculums, 'Methodology of Inventive Problem Solving' based on TRIZ, were improved and applied, and industrial bottleneck techniques were provided to students to solve these techniques. To improve the curriculum, 1) improvement of instructional objectives and learning contents, 2) improvement of evaluation methods and contents (reflecting the evaluation of instructor and students), and 3) learning satisfaction survey were conducted in the following order. As a result of the application of the improved curriculum, the level of activities for each team was improved, and when the core process was well understood, the evaluation of team activities was also excellent, but there was a tendency to focus on methods that are relatively easy to apply in the problem solving process. In the final exam (learning contents evaluation), teams with difficult understanding of the TRIZ theory or low team activities showed a relatively high trend, but the difference in level between divisions was slightly reduced.

  • Mathematical creativity is a main topic which is studied within mathematics education. Also it is important in learning school mathematics. It can be important for mathematics teachers to view mathematical creativity as an disposition toward mathematical activity that can be fostered broadly in the general classroom environment. In this article, it is discussed that creativity-enriched mathematics instruction which includes creative problem-solving and problem-posing tasks and activities can be guided more creative approaches to school mathematics via routine problems.

창의적 캡스톤 디자인을 활용한 팀 프로젝트수업 운영에 따른 학습만족도 및 이해도 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Change of Learning Satisfaction and Comprehension of Team Project Instruction Using Creative Capstone Design)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the change of comprehension degree about learning satisfaction and capstone class by applying the subject which draws idea for team project task in college to creative capstone design program. The Capstone Design Program is designed to train fieldworkers with creative problem solving skills and is widely applied as a problem-solving course in team-based projects. In this paper, based on the case study of the 'fusion capstone design' operated in the first semester of 2015 ~ 2017, the capstone design course was established in the course of designing ideas for problem solving. The results of this study are as follows: First, the questionnaire about capstone design instruction process, instruction method, and learning achievement satisfaction were analyzed. As a result, understanding of capstone design was found to be higher than that of class before class, and satisfaction of performance course, method of teaching performance and learning outcome were obtained.
