  • There are various analysis functions(including prediction of path loss, analyzing of capacity and coverage, etc.) of simulation tool to design and optimize the mobile communication network. Its reliability absolutely effects the performance of mobile communication network. Especially as the wireless network highly advancing focused on data service, it more needs to research and develop on the standard establishment of reliability of the simulation tool. Also it is important the systematic research how to improve the reliability of simulation tool. In this paper, to give the concrete process and skill about how to improve reliability, we define the kinds of reliability at first. And then we explain the comparison results between real field measurement data and theoretic simulation data.

  • The introduction of autonomous underwater gliders (AUGs) specifically addresses the reduction of operational costs that were previously prohibited with conventional autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) using a "scaling-down" design philosophy by utilizing the characteristics of autonomous drifters to far extend operation duration and coverage. Long-duration, wide-area missions raise the cost and complexity of in-water testing for novel approaches to autonomous mission planning. As a result, a simulator that supports the rapid design, development, and testing of autonomy solutions across a wide range using software-in-the-loop simulation at faster-than-real-time speeds becomes critical. This paper describes a faster-than-real-time AUG simulator that can support high-resolution bathymetry for a wide variety of ocean environments, including ocean currents, various sensors, and vehicle dynamics. On top of the de facto standard ROS-Gazebo framework and open-sourced underwater vehicle simulation packages, features specific to AUGs for ocean mapping are developed. For vehicle dynamics, the next-generation hybrid autonomous underwater gliders (Hybrid-AUGs) operate with both the buoyancy engine and the thrusters to improve navigation for bathymetry mappings, e.g., line trajectory, are is implemented since because it can also describe conventional AUGs without the thrusters. The simulation results are validated with experiments while operating at 120 times faster than the real-time.

  • In this paper, we develop the probability matching priors for the parameters of non-regular Pareto distribution. We prove the propriety of joint posterior distribution induced by probability matching priors. Through the simulation study, we show that the proposed probability matching Prior matches the coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense. A real data example is given.

  • In this paper, we develop noninformative priors for two parameter Pareto distribution. Specially, we derive Jereys' prior, probability matching prior and reference prior for the parameter of interest. In our case, the probability matching prior is only a first order matching prior and there does not exist a second order matching prior. Some simulation reveals that the matching prior performs better to achieve the coverage probability. A real example is also considered.

  • In this paper, we develop the reference priors for the common location parameter in the half-normal distributions with unequal scale paramters. We derive the reference priors as noninformative prior and prove the propriety of joint posterior distribution under the general prior including the reference priors. Through the simulation study, we show that the proposed reference priors match the target coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense.

  • In this paper, we develop the noninformative priors for the common scale parameter in the inverse gaussian distributions. We developed the first and second order matching priors. Next we revealed that the second order matching prior satisfies a HPD matching criterion. Also we showed that the second order matching prior matches alternative coverage probabilities up to the second order. It turns out that the one-at-a-time reference prior satisfies a second order matching criterion. Some simulation study is performed.

  • An efficient test method based on march test is presented to cover line leakage failures associated with bit and word lines or mega bit DRAM chips. A modified column march (Y-march) pattern is derived to improve fault coverage against the data retention failure. Time delay concept is introduced to develop a new column march test algorithm detecting various data retention failures. A built-in test circuit based on the column march pattern is designed and verified using logic simulation, confirming correct test operations.

  • This paper proposes a sequential procedure which can be used to determine a truncation point and run length to reduce or remove bias owing to artificial startup conditions in simulations aimed at estimating steady-state behavior. It is based on the idea of Lyapunov exponent in chaos theory. The performance measures considered are relative bias, coverage, estimated relative half-width of the confidence interval, and mean amount of deleted data.

  • The bootstrap calibration method for empirical likelihood is considered to make a confidence region for the regression coefficients. Asymptotic properties are studied regarding the coverage probability. Small sample simulation results reveal that the bootstrap calibration works quite well.
