  • In this paper, we further investigate the local Hermitian and skew-Hermitian splitting (LHSS) iteration method and the modified LHSS (MLHSS) iteration method for solving generalized nonsymmetric saddle point problems with nonzero (2,2) blocks. When A is non-symmetric positive definite, the convergence conditions are obtained, which generalize some results of Jiang and Cao [M.-Q. Jiang and Y. Cao, On local Hermitian and Skew-Hermitian splitting iteration methods for generalized saddle point problems, J. Comput. Appl. Math., 2009(231): 973-982] for the generalized saddle point problems to generalized nonsymmetric saddle point problems with nonzero (2,2) blocks. Numerical experiments show the effectiveness of the iterative methods.

  • Recently, research and development to revitalize smart construction are being actively carried out. Accordingly, 3D mapping technology that digitizes construction site is drawing attention. To create a 3D digital map for construction site a point cloud generation method based on LiDAR(Light detection and ranging) using MMS(Mobile mapping system) is mainly used. The purpose of this study is to analyze the accuracy of MMS LiDAR-based point cloud data. As a result, accuracy of MMS point cloud data was analyzed as dx = 0.048m, dy = 0.018m, dz = 0.045m on average. In future studies, accuracy comparison of point cloud data produced via UAV(Unmanned aerial vegicle) photogrammetry and MMS LiDAR should be studied.

  • In this paper, we propose a user-dependent mid-point navigation system using a time weighted mid-point navigation algorithm and a user preference based mid-point neighborhood recommendation system. The proposed system consists of a mid-point navigation module for calculating an mid-point by applying a time weight of each user based on a departure point between users, and a search module for providing a search for a route to the calculated mid-point. In addition, based on the mid-point search result, it is possible to increase the utilization rate of users by including a place recommending function based on user's preference. Experimental results show that the proposed system can increase the efficiency of using by the user-dependent mid-point navigation and place recommendation function.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a new adaptive echo canceller improving convergence speed and near-end-talker detection performance of the conventional echo canceller. In a conventional adaptive echo canceller, an adaptive digital filter with TDL(Tapped-Delay Line) structure modelling the echo path uses the LMS(Least Mean Square) algorithm to cote the coefficients, and NET detector using energy comparison method prevents the adaptive digital filter to update the coefficients during the periods of the NET signal presence. The convergence speed of the LMS algorithm depends on the eigenvalue spread ratio of the reference signal and NET detector using the energy comparison method yields poor detection performance if the magnitude of the NET signal is small. This paper presents a new adaptive echo canceller which uses the pre-whitening filter to improve the convergence speed of the LMS algorithm. The pre-whitening filter is realized by using a low-order lattice predictor. Also, a new NET signal detection algorithm is presented, where the start point of the NET signal is detected by computing the cross-correlation coefficient between the primary input and the ADF(Adaptive Digital Filter) output while the end point is detected by using the energy comparison method. The simulation results show that the convergence speed of the proposed adaptive echo canceller is faster than that of the conventional echo canceller and the cross-correlation coefficient yield more accurate detection of the start point of the NET signal.

  • Computer simulations were conducted to demonstrate the generation of microwave-induced thermoacoustic signal. The simulations began with modelling an object with a biological tissue characteristic and irradiating it with a microwave pulse. The time-varying heating function data at every particular point on the illuminated object were obtained from absorbed electric field data from the simulation result. The thermoacoustic signal received at a point transducer at a particular distance from the object was generated by applying heating function data to the thermoacoustic equation. These simulations can be used as a foundation for understanding how thermoacoustic signal is generated and can be applied as a basis for thermoacoustic imaging simulations and experiments in future research.

  • The aim of this article is to study an implicit iteration process with errors for a finite family of non-Lipschitzian asymptotically non expansive mappings in the intermediate sense in Banach spaces. Also we establish some strong convergence theorems and a weak convergence theorem for said scheme to converge to a common fixed point for non Lipschitzian asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the corresponding results of [1], [3]-[8], [10]-[11], [13]-[14], [16] and many others.

  • In this paper, we prove two strong convergence theorems for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Hibert spaces by hybrid methods. Our results extend and improve the recent ones announced by Nakajo, Takahashi [K. Nakajo, W. Takahashi, Strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and nonexpansive semigroups, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 279 (2003) 372-379], Kim, Xu [T. H. Kim, H. K. • We consider fixed-point iterations constructed by simple transforming from a quadratic matrix equation to equivalent fixed-point equations and assume that the iterations are well-defined at some solutions. In that case, we suggest real valued functions. These functions provide radii at the solution, which guarantee the local convergence and the uniqueness of the solutions. Moreover, these radii obtained by simple calculations of some constants. We get the constants by arbitrary matrix norm for coefficient matrices and solution. In numerical experiments, the examples show that the functions give suitable boundaries which guarantee the local convergence and the uniqueness of the solutions for the given equations.

  • The purpose of this article is to prove strong convergence theorems for weak relatively nonexpansive mapping which is firstly presented in this article. In order to get the strong convergence theorems for weak relatively nonexpansive mapping, the monotone CQ iteration method is presented and is used to approximate the fixed point of weak relatively nonexpansive mapping, therefore this article apply above results to prove the strong convergence theorems of zero point for maximal monotone operators in Banach spaces. Noting that, the CQ iteration method can be used for relatively nonexpansive mapping but it can not be used for weak relatively nonexpansive mapping. However, the monotone CQ method can be used for weak relatively nonexpansive mapping. The results of this paper modify and improve the results of S.Matsushita and W.Takahashi, and some others.
