  • In this study, we developed a software for statistical process control. This software presents $\bar{x}$, R, CUSUM, EWMA control chart and process capability index. In this system, statistical process control methods are integrated into the automated method on a real time base. It is available in process control of specified type and can be performed on personal computer with network system.

  • 소프트웨어 기반의 고장허용이란 장비의 일부분에 소프트웨어 고장이 발생하더라도 허용할 수 있도록 장비를 설계하는 것을 의미힌다. 고장허용을 위한 설계 방법은 크게 하드웨어 기반 고장허용 설계 방법과 소프트웨어 기반 고장허용 설계 방법이 있으며, 시스템의 특징에 따라 적절한 방법의 고장허용 설계 방법 선택이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 하드웨어적으로 이중화로 구성된 비행조종컴퓨터의 소프트웨어 기반 고장허용 설계 기법에 대하여 기술하였다. 소프트웨어 기반의 고장허용 설계를 위하여 소프트웨어 고장을 분류하고, 고장에 대한 검출 방법을 설계한 후, 고장발생시 복구 방법을 설계하였다. 설계된 방법의 유효성을 확인하기 위하여 전용 소프트웨어 시험 환경을 통해 설계된 소프트웨어 기반 고장허용 설계의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • Relaxed Static Stability(RSS) concept has been applied to improve aerodynamic performance of modern version supersonic jet fighter aircraft. Therefore, the flight control systems are necessary to stabilizes the unstable aircraft and provides adequate handling qualities. The initial production flight control system are verified by flight test and it's always an elements of danger because of flight-critical nature of control law function and design error due to model base design method. These critical issues impact to flight safety, and it could be lead to a loss of aircraft and pilot's life. Therefore, development of an easily modifiable RFCS(Research Flight Control System) capable of reverting to a PFCS(Primary Flight Control System) of reliable control law must be developed to guarantee the flight safety. This paper addresses the concept of SSWM(Software Switching Mechanism) using the fader logic such as TFS(Transient Free Switch) based on T-50 flight control law. The result of the analysis based on non-real time simulation in-house software using SSWM reveals that the flight control system are switching between two computers without any problem.

  • This paper proposes a home control system architecture that have network configuration function. The proposed home control system architecture is implemented with partly hardware and software. For implementation of this system architecture, we developed ECONICS which is home automation controller. ECONICS consists of main board and communication modem. This communication modem supply the power line communication. The physical layer and the MAC layer software of EIA 709.1 standard protocol are implemented in communication modem. The upper layer software of EIA 709.1 standard protocol and home configuration software for home network installation, management, diagnostics, control and monitoring are implemented in main board of ECONICS. We verified the commercial feasibility of the proposed system through the home network configuration and operation. As a result, we have concluded that the proposed home control system architecture provides all the key function necessary to easily manage and control home network nodes.

  • 본 논문에서는 웹 기반의 분산 소프트웨어 개발 환경에서 원시 코드 중심의 버전뿐만 아니라 원시 코드 이전 단계의 UML(Unified Modeling Language) 기반의 소프트웨어 개발 환경에서 발생하는 다양한 설계 객체들을 일정한 형태로 구축하여 효율적으로 관리하는 방법론을 제시하였다. 또한, 웹을 기반으로 한 분산 소프트웨어 개발 과정에서 발생하는 버전들을 일관성 있게 관리하기 위해 버전 규칙에 기초한 웹 기반의 규칙 버전 관리 모델을 설계하였다.

  • We proposed a modularization design technique for implementing software of on-board train control system. We already proved the efficiency of CASE Tool(SCADE) for safety critical software design. The several functions of train are implemented on CASE tool each modules. We divided functions of train into modules based on the modularization design. We used MATLAB for design of on-board train control software. We proved that this technique is more useful for the software design of on-board train control for EMU.

  • Risk management or risk-based approach of software project management was developed to explain the effects of requirement uncertainty, control standardization, interactions on software quality. Based on a prior theory, five hypotheses were derived and empirically tested using a survey design. Data from 117 members in 3 SI companies support for the path model, and three of five hypotheses. The results showed that decreases in requirement uncertainty and increases in control standardization were directly associated with increases in the interactions between user and project teams, which, in turn, led to increases software quality. The findings suggested that the direct effect on software quality is primarily due to the interactions between user and project teams, rather than requirement uncertainty and control standardization.

Design of Model-based VCU Software for Driving Performance Optimization of Electric Vehicle

  • This study designed a model-based Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) software for electric vehicles. Electric vehicles have transitioned from conventional powertrains (e.g., engines and transmissions) to electric powertrains. The primary role of the VCU is to determine the optimal torque for driving control. This decision is based on the driver's power request and current road conditions. The determined torque is then transmitted to the electric drive system, which includes motors and controllers. The VCU employs an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and calibrated reference torque to enhance the electric vehicle's performance. The designed VCU software further refines the final reference torque by comparing the control logic with the torque calculation functions and ANN-generated reference torque. Vehicle tests confirmed the effective optimization of vehicle performance using the model-based VCU software, which includes an ANN.

  • 조향계 엔지니어들에게 전동 조향 시스템의 시뮬레이션 및 분석을 위한 새로운 방식의 소프트웨어를 소개한다. 이 소프트웨어 MSAS는 전동 조향 시스템의 시뮬레이션, 분석 및 종합 기능을 제공하며, 기본적으로 조향계 모델과 차량모델 및 제어로직에 기초한다. 부품 공급회사들은 제어로직을 블랙박스 형태로 제공하기 때문에 이 소프트웨어는 로직 설계자의 의도에 따라 블랙박스 형태이든지 또는 화이트박스 형태이든지 모두 사용가능하다. 또한 이 소프트웨어는 공급회사들의 에스함수 제어로직 및 RMDPS와 함께 통합될 수 있다.

  • We are developing a CCD camera named CQUEAN (Camera for Quasars in Early Universe) to search for quasars at z > 7. CQUEAN has a 1024*1024 deep depletion CCD chip and will be attached to 2.1m Otto-Struve Telescope at McDonald Observatory, USA. Although commercial software for the CCD camera is provided by the vendor, we are going to develop our own software to control the other instruments as well, to carry out efficient observation. There are four major parts in our software: Instrument control part controls the camera and filter wheel to obtain imaging data. Quick look window is to display acquired imaging data for quick inspection. Telescope control part interfaces with Telescope Control System (TCS) to move the telescope and to get time or coordinate information. Finally, Observation scripting facility part carries out a series of short exposures in a batch. The whole software will be written in python on linux platform, using the instrument control software libraries provided by the vendors.
