  • The existence, uniqueness and iterative approximations of fixed points for some contractive mappings of integral type defined in complete metric spaces with w-distance are proved. Four examples are given to demonstrate that the results in this paper extend and improve some well-known results in the literature.

  • Three common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappings satisfying three classes of contractive inequalities of integral type are proved. Three examples are included. The results obtained in this paper extend and improve a few results existing in literature.

  • Several common fixed point theorems for a pair of weakly compatible mappings satisfying contractive inequalities of integral type in a metric space are proved. The results obtained in this paper improve or differ from a few results existing in the literature.

  • We prove the existence of common fixed points for multivalued maps satisfying a contractive condition of an integral type. Our results are extent ions of results of Feng and Liu[Y. Feng, S. Liu, Fixed point theorems for multi-valued contractive mappings and multi-valued Caristi type mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 317(2006), 103-112] and also, extent ions of results of Daffer and Kaneko[P. Z. Daffer, H. Kaneko, Fixed points of generalized contractive multi-valued map pings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 192(1995), 655-666]. A main result in Feng and Liu[Y. Feng, S. Liu, Fixed point theorems for multi-valued contractive mappings and multi-valued Caristi type mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 317(2006), 103-112] is proved under necessary additional conditions.

  • In this paper, we prove some fixed point theorems for some weaker forms of compatibility satisfying a contractive condition of integral type on d-complete Hausdorff topological spaces. Our results extend and generalize some well known previous results.

  • In this paper a general fixed point theorem for two pairs of mappings involving altering distance is proved. This theorem generalizes Theorem 9 [5], Theorems 1, 2, 3 [6], Theorems 2.3, 2.4 [7] and other results from [11]. As applications, some results for mappings satisfying contractive conditions of integral type and ${\phi}$-contractive conditions are obtained.

  • The purpose of this article is to establish some fixed point theorems, a common fixed point theorem and a coincidence point theorem via contractive type condition in the framework of complete partial metric spaces and give some examples in support of our results. As an application to the results, we give some fixed point theorems for integral type contractive conditions. The results presented in this paper extend and generalize several results from the existing literature.

  • In this paper, we utilize an implicit relation to improve and extend some strict common fixed point results of the existing literature to two pairs of hybrid mappings in 2-metric spaces via altering distances. As an application, we also prove some strict common fixed point theorems for hybrid pairs of mappings satisfying a contractive condition of integral type in 2-metric spaces.

  • In this paper, we prove common fixed point theorems for $\mathcal{L}$-fuzzy mappings under implicit relation in b-metric spaces. Further, results obtained for an integral type contractive condition. These theorems generalize and improve previous corresponding results.
