Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop the system for safety education needed to develop the textbooks and teachers' teaching-manual for the safety education in elementary schools. Methods: For this study, literature study and survey for the method were combined. the data were analyzed the basic theory on safety and its related contents, utilized the current elementary textbooks for the analysis of safety education and again analyzed the laws and regulations associated with school safety. Furthermore, through the survey, the status of safety education at elementary schools and the requirements for safety education were examined. Results: On the basis of the reality and theory analyzed for safety education, The authors have set up a goal of safety education. The goal is composed of a summative goal and subordinate goals, and the authors categorized safety education areas into 6. Also It is organized the safety education contents based on 17 hours per year by grade into 25 content-goals and 76 activity-factors. The authors, systematizing those activity factors of safety education, suggested a formation by grade. Conclusion: The result of the study is that it is necessary to carry out the safety education at schools on the ground of the contents system related to the safety education. It is expected that this systematic operation of safety education will be a measure which is more efficient and more effective than the current ones and there will be a positive change in the knowledge of, attitude to and behavior for the safety in elementary schools.

As the size of the construction industry becomes larger, there are many tries to change the construction education for growing the pre-engineering who has many directly experience. However, architectural construction education, which requires a lot of practical understanding, is still limited to educational textbooks and field trips. Therefore, this study proposed the development of educational contents which can indirectly experience by combining smart media such as time-lapse, video and animation. Also, we verified the effectiveness of contents developed based on usability, practicality(fitness of education), necessity, possibility of commercialization. We will contribute to enhance the effectiveness of education through building construction education contents that take advantage of contents based on this.

Today the influence of digital video media grows bigger due to the development of information and telecommunication gradually and most of juveniles spend a number of image contents with their smart phones and computers. And they not only consume such image contents but also upload the videos they make at YouTube or Vimeo by recording and editing them by themselves. As we learned from such phenomenon, the education of media that uses and expresses the video in various environment such as making, reading and expressing video media is very important. The education of using the advance digital device and software of producing image contents is essential as current education of media cannot be discussed without that. This study treats the education of media based on the view point of education on image contents production. It discusses the education method that we can learn from the process of image contents production based on Non-Linear Editing System.

Standards-curriculum based archival contents for education is the best effective teaching and learning units for historical thinking abilities. This paper purposes a developing procedures of an archival contents for education that is theoretical instructions of developing an archival contents for education by the National Archives of Korea. This paper can be used of the theoretical bases for the National Archives of Korea by proposing the methodology of development of an archival contents for education. The developing procedures of an archival contents for education is the same with the procedures of developing an e-learning contents that has planning, analyzing, designing, developing and assessing steps but it is characterized by an archival contents for education that is curriculum standards analysis, collection analysis, and detailed design for structured formats in effective-accomplishments for teaching-learning objectives. I propose the procedures for determining teaching-learning subjects that enable the development of an archival contents for education by curriculum standards analysis. I also propose the procedures for deriving the key words from the teaching-learning subjects. Collection analysis methods analyze key records that correspond to the learning subjects according to the selection criteria of primary sources. In the steps of designing, titles of contents and contents structures have to be determined and storyboards based on flowchart of learning have to be made of according to the results of analyses. In the steps of developing contents, making a copy of primary sources like a original is the key points. And also in the steps of assessment, products of teaching-learning contents to effectively achieve the teaching-learning objectives have to be estimated by the appraisal board. Finally I propose that user's survey research after the services have to be reflected on contents updates and new developments of contents.

The purpose of this study was to research university students' awareness of gender equality and practice of clothing and textiles education contents(classifying them into four units; choice and dressing of clothes, textile and management of clothes, design and sewing of clothes, and knitting and embroidery) in their real life. This is the investigation of 344 university students living in Choongchungnam bukdo, Junrabukdo, and Daejeon. In this statistical analysis, SPSS 10.0 for Windows Program was utilized to calculate percentage, mean and standard deviation. Also, these data were verified by t-test, One-way Anova, Duncan's multiple range, Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results of this research were as follows: The more university students have awareness of gender equality, the more they have practice of clothing and textiles education content in their real life. There was a significant difference in practical awareness of contents of clothing and textiles education according to demographic variables and correlation of variables differed significantly. As a conclusion, university students' awareness of gender equality plays an important role in practice of clothing and textiles education contents in their real life. These results would provide fundamental information for improving students' critical practice.

The proportion of cultural education in Korean language education is increasing. Many researchers in Korean language education have used a variety of teaching methods and materials for cultural education, and the range of contents applied to cultural education is wide ranging from literature, drama, film, theater, and music. In addition, the results studied until recently are vast. Nevertheless, cultural education in the classroom is fragmentary and often stays one-off. Since culture is a product that is produced over time, it raises the question that it needs to be more phased, systematic and sustainable. Therefore, this study examines the existing aspects of arts and contents-based culture education, selects literature among the art contents, and presents specific class cases conducted for one semester, and implements the continuous and systematic culture education aspects. I tried to find the direction of Korean culture education.

This study was conducted to provide a foundation for housewife-consumer education programs appropriate in the information society. For this purpose, the authors reviewed existing literature, analysed consumer counseling cases, and conducted focus group interviews. The need for housewife-consumer education was illustrated, and desirable educational contents and methods were proposed. The existing housewife-consumer education programs did not work effectively because the contents were too general, and mostly structured with non-interactive one-way lectures. More effective programs should be designed to accomodate the educational purpose and contents which fitted with the specific needs of housewives as the representatives of the family consumer units. It should also take the family life cycle stages into consideration. The education programs would work better when they were oriented more toward actively participating, locally-based spontaneous small-groups.

Construction safety education plays role to provide necessary skills to workers for working safely. It is also important safety measure be used efficiently without any restriction to construction accident prevention. On this study, to develop effective education contents, we analyzed propriety of education contents used in construction sites, drew problem, and suggested the improvement direction.

In this paper, we propose the elementary school teacher's training direction for effective SW education. In an effort to better understand the efficient SW training contents and methods for teachers, 200 of elementary teachers had been selected from different places in South Korea. The results showed that 1)it should be operated by focusing on the training of female teachers, especially, strengthening the contents of SW ethics. 2)It will need to actively operate the teacher training program to foster the necessary computational thinking and programing for elementary school teacher who work in big cities. 3)It need to create a training program for expanding the SW studying groups. 4)In order to improve the effectiveness of training courses in the development of in-service training programs, the SW ethics contents need to be coordinated with the link the computational thinking and programing. These results are expected to provide the efficient methods to design the future SW training programs.

This paper critically examines the current status of software education and its contents in the 2015 revised curriculum and explores the criteria for content selection. For this purpose the principles of selection of educational contents in general curriculum composition were reviewed. In addition this study explored the criteria for selecting contents of software education from an educational philosophy. In particular Oakeshott's practical knowledge was examined as a philosophical basis for the selection of software educational contents. It emphasized that the contents of software education should be composed of practical experiences rather than knowledge and activities. Based on these discussions five proposals were made as criteria for selecting contents for software education. First consistency with the purpose of the curriculum second reflection of the level of learners third creation and product of creative knowledge fourth reflection of future sociocultural demands and fifth, growth as a digital democratic citizen.
