업사이클드 푸드: 정의, 소비자 인식 및 식품공급망에서 발생하는 부산물의 활용 (Definition, Consumer Awareness, and Utilization of By-products from Food Supply Chain)

  • Food upcycling has emerged as an effective approach to sustainably utilize the food waste generated within the food supply chain. This review article examines upcycled food with respect to its definition, consumers' knowledge and perception on it, and the process by which by-products from the food supply chain are utilized for the creation of upcycled food products. The definition of upcycled food varied among manufacturers, research institutions, and the Upcycled Food Association, depending on the specific values and objectives of each sector. This has resulted in the use of different keywords to highlight the distinctive characteristics of their respective interpretations of upcycled food. This review also summarizes the various consumer traits that can influence the awareness and acceptance of upcycled food, encompassing functional, empirical and emotional, symbolic and self-expressive, and economic benefits. Additionally, the review presents strategies to utilize by-products produced in large quantities in Korea, while also addressing the control of hazardous components to ensure biological or chemical safety and the changes in nutritional value that may occur during the utilization of these byproducts.

소셜커머스에 대한 인식과 구매경험 등이 구매태도(만족도)에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Awareness and Shopping Experience about Social Commerce on Intention to Purchase Attitude(Satisfaction))

  • The mobile market in South Korea is about 4trillion and the social commerce market is also growing. Social commerce market was started from small venture company and in nowadays, its status is getting higher enough to compete with such as Gmarket and 11st. As social commerce market is rapidly growing, the interest of consumer is getting higher and we need to research about how consumers to recognize and make a purchase. For the research, I set hypothesis about consumer's recognition about social commerce, shopping experience, purchasing disposition, a trust influence on purchase attitude and we analyzed through actual investigation. I did a survey for male and female in 20s. An analysis result showed that the recognition about social commerce, shopping experience, purchasing disposition and a trust can affect on purchasing satisfaction. The most popular category in social commerce market was restaurant and fashion and I also found that consumers visit social commerce market in case of need rather than regular visits. I expect a rapid growth of social commerce market as an advance of smartphones. I hope this research could help for to establish marketing strategy by understanding characteristics of social commerce market and consumer proneness.

패션 브랜드 분류 기준에 관한 소비자 인식 연구 (A Study on Consumer Cognition about Criteria for Classifying Fashion Brands)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out criteria for classifying fashion brand from consumer point of view in order to develop strategy of fashion brands and to manage brand effectively and systematically, and to suggest theoretical frame for application of these criteria. Survey was used as a research method. Subject were 422 age of 20-30 women living in and near Seoul. Questionnaires was developed to based on 37 classification criteria, and SPSS package program were used to analyze data. The results of this study were as follows: First, factor analysis considering 37 classification criteria identified 8 factors as classification criteria. They were the level of brand form, the level of product concept, the level of management item, the level of brand sales ability, the level of customer management, the level of brand advertizing and awareness, the level of brand value, the level of product lead ability. Second, the most important factor was the level of customer management, but comparatively factor of the level of brand sales ability the level of brand value was less important. Third, consumer cognized difference of criteria for classifying fashion brands. And the level of product lead ability was the most important factor in women's wear category and the level of brand form was in general casual wear category.

Registered dietitian nutritionists and perceptions of liberalizing the hemodialysis diet

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The objective of this study was to assess the level of awareness, comfort, and likelihood of liberalizing the hemodialysis diet in practicing renal registered dietitian nutritionists (RDN). SUBJECTS/METHODS: An original, cross-sectional survey was sent to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Renal Practice Group in May 2017, consisting primarily of renal dietitians. RESULTS: A total of 187 renal dietitians responded to the survey designed to assess their current practices regarding the renal diet for hemodialysis patients and how comfortable they would be liberalizing the current restrictions. On average, 16.3% of dietitians are extremely likely to liberalize the restrictions on various food groups including fruits and vegetables, beans and legumes, and whole grains. CONCLUSIONS: RDN feel confident in their ability to interpret and apply evidence-based literature into practice, and they are moderately comfortable liberalizing the renal diet. The participants were generally more comfortable liberalizing the phosphorus restriction than the potassium restriction, and the sodium restriction remains important to control interdialytic weight gain and hypertension. Future research is needed to establish efficacy of a liberalized diet as well as interventions to help RDN feel more comfortable implementing a liberalization of the renal diet.

Research on Consumer Behavioral Intention in Express Packaging Recycling

  • Purpose: With the rapid development of China's e-commerce industry, the express delivery industry is also advancing by leaps and bounds. While express brings convenience to people's life, a large number of express packages are disposed of at will, which not only increases a large amount of domestic waste, but also causes environmental pollution and waste of resources. Therefore, express packaging recycling has become a consensus in all fields of society. Research design, data and methodology:According to the characteristics of express packaging recycling, other variables were introduced into the TPB model proposed by AJZEN, and based on previous literature research and research assumptions, a model of influencing factors of consumer behavior in express packaging recycling was constructed. Results: The results show that in addition to reward factors, other factors have a significant positive impact on the respondents' willingness to recycling. Conclusions: In order to enhance consumers' willingness to recycle express delivery and effectively carry out express packaging recycling, the following suggestions are put forward: the government should formulate a comprehensive express delivery recycling policy, strengthen policy publicity, and standardize consumers' express packaging recycling behavior. Improve consumers' awareness of express packaging recycling, and promote the increase in the scale of express packaging recycling.

  • 본 사례는 신용카드업계에서 시장추종자의 지위에 있던 현대카드가 기존의 현대 [M] 카드의 문제점 분석을 토대로 하여 「현대카드 M」의 재출범을 필두로 하여 새롭게 추진해오고 있는 라이프스타일을 토대로 한 시장세분화 및 차별적 마케팅 전략을 분석한다. 기존의 현대 [M] 카드는 경쟁 신용카드에 비하여 서비스매력의 열세, 상품의 강점을 효과적으로 전달하지 못한 취약한 커뮤니케이션 활동, 비효율적 채널전략 및 그에 따른 브랜드 인지도의 저조 등의 문제점을 안고 있었다. 동사는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 「현대카드 M」으로 재탄생시킨 후 현대카드 S, 현대카드 T, 현대카드 U, 현대카드 A, 현대카드 K를 잇달아 출시함으로써 고객의 라이프스타일에 따라 시장을 세분화하고, 라이프스타일을 상징하는 알파벳별로 카드상품을 차별화하여 제공하는 차별화 마케팅전략의 하나인 소위 알파벳 마케팅을 효과적으로 추진해오고 있다.

국가간 적대감 유형이 소비자 인지와 소비행동 방향에 미치는 영향 : 고립공포감의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Animosity Type on Consumer Cognition and Consumption Behavior Direction : Based on the Moderating Role of Fear of Missing Out)

  • The purpose of this study aims to investigate how consumer awareness and purchasing behavior are affected by the type of animosity against the nation. This study classified animosity into three categories: sociocultural, economic, and war-based. Additionally, the consumer's cognition toward animosity was split into two categories-empathic concernt and personal distress-and the direction of consumption behavior was split into two categories-individual brand avoidance behavior and collective bandwagon behavior. The concept of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) was introduced for the direction of consumption behavior, further validating the moderating impact. Structural equation modeling method was used to measure the general consumption behvior of Korean consumers' animosity. The results were analyzed using a total of 279 samples. As a result, animosity motivated by war and by economics had a substantial impact on empathic concern, while animosity motivated by socioculture had a significant impact on personal distress. Personal distress had a good impact on an individual's brand antipathy behavior, which in turn led to brand dislike and avoidance. Empathic concern also had a positive impact on the phenomena of group sympathy, which leads to identification of conduct and social conformity. Also, it was proven that the group that had a high level of FoMO reacted strongly to the phenomenon of group collective behavior.

'소비와 윤리' 교과목 수강 대학생의 윤리적 소비에 대한 인식과 실천행동의 변화 (A Study on Changes in Cognition and Practice of Undergraduate Students After Taking the Course 'Consumption and Ethics')

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate changes in ethical consumption practices after taking an undergraduate course 'Consumption and Ethics'. Through Qualitative & Quantitative research methods, students' pre-course and post-course attitudes were compared to understand changes in behavior. Before taking the course 'Consumption and Ethics', undergraduate participants displayed little regard for ethical consumption, instead displaying primary sensitivity to price and values based on self-centered and conspicuous consumption. After taking the course 'Consumption and Ethics', participants displayed a more altruistic awareness of consumption on society and the environment. In addition, participants displayed a stronger sense of pride as ethical consumer. These emerging values were contrasted with conflicting feelings resulting from the higher prices often associated with ethical products, feelings of regret resulting from ethically-based impulse purchases, and an inability to categorically evaluate the reliability of available information on the ethical products. However, participants demonstrated a willingness to practice ethical consumption and recommend ethical consumption to their friends and neighbors. Overall, participants in the study demonstrated a strong shift to be an ethical consumer as a result of taking the course 'Consumption and Ethics'.

뷰티 소셜커머스 구매이용에 대한 소비자 인식과 구매행동 연구 (A Study on Consumer Perception and Purchasing Conditions of Using Beauty Social Commerce)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the consumer perception and purchasing behaviors of beauty service products based on recent consumer purchasing patterns utilizing social commerce. The research method looked at general characteristics, exploratory factor analysis, reliability T-test, correlation analysis, one way ANOVA, regression analysis of the consumer awareness and purchasing status in the use of beauty social commerce of 228 research subjects in their 20s and 30s residing in Seoul and Gyeonggido. SPSS v. 21.0 was used. The results found the following. First, service quality, interaction, user convenience, and price were set as factors for the validity verification of consumer perception in beauty social commerce. Second, as a result of studying consumer perception regarding beauty social commerce, interaction had the largest correlation while price, service quality, and user convenience followed. As a result of studying the differences according to the general characteristic of gender, user convenience had a larger correlation for female consumers than male consumers. Third, the following was the result of studying purchasing behaviors in beauty social commerce. Among diverse social commerce businesses, Pokemon was the most popular, while among the various coupons available, hair salons were most commonly purchased. The modal value for the number of times consumers used beauty service products was two times a month, and the most popular price ranges were 100,000 KRW or less and 100,000~200,000 KRW. Accordingly, it was observed that social commerce is receiving attention and being considered as the next generation for shopping in the beauty industry. This channel should be well utilized by related industries through the improvement of customer satisfaction, which will lead to repurchases, and consequently result in becoming an actual means for sales in the beauty industry.

보험소비자의 권리 및 책임의식과 보험구매 의사결정 행동 (Insurance Consumers' Rights, Responsibilities Consciousness and Decision-making Behavior in Insurance Purchasing)

  • 본 연구에서는 보험소비자의 권리의식과 책임의식의 수준이 어떠한지 살펴보고, 권리 및 책임의식 수준에 따라 소비자를 유형화하여 유형별 의사결정 행동에 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 생명보험협회의 '생명보험업의 민원발생유형 분석 및 소비자보호 강화방안'의 총 1,225명 데이터를 활용하여 확인적요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 대응표본 t-test, 교차분석 및 분산분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과 보험소비자의 책임의식은 권리의식과 비교했을 때 비교적 낮은 수준이었고, 권리의식에 상응하는 책임의식이 갖추어진 소비자집단이 더욱 합리적이고 주체적인 의사결정을 내리고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 보험소비자의 바람직하고 주체적인 의사결정을 위해서는 권리의식에 상응하는 책임의식을 강조하는 소비자교육이 필요함을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 소비자문제를 해결할 수 있는 보험소비자의 권리 및 책임의식의 제고를 위한 콘텐츠개발의 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 특히 금융소비자의 권리의식과 책임의식에 관한 연구가 다각도로 이루어지지 않은 상황에서, 권리의식만큼이나 책임의식이 중요하다는 것을 학술적으로 밝혔다는 점에서 더욱 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다.
