건설현장에서의 안전감시단의 효율적 활용에 관한 연구 (A study on the safety supervision team's efficient using at construction site)

  • As there are more accidents which are more serious in construction site than other industries, it needs the safety management system to be SLIM on the same time, There are still lots of difficulties to prevent those accidents exactly, so it also needs a safety supervision team to prevent the accident, unsafe operation and condition before happening, which is also called as a Man-to-Man safety management method. The range of the job site in one personnel's management is very big and large, so it needs the personnel to keep watch the safety operation and prevent any unsafe/fire accidents. Also the personnel also should find out the unsafe points in the job site, and carefully supervise the dead angle site, then support the totally safety management POINT and realize the ZERO accident.

순서형 프로빗 모형을 적용한 공사장 교통 사고심각도 분석 (Developing the Accident Injury Severity on a Field of Construction Work Using Ordered Probit Model)

  • The traffic accidents at a construction site, which happen due to construction vehicles' frequent access to a construction site, its subsequent conflicts with ordinary vehicles and pedestrians, and inappropriate installation & management of traffic security facilities, have not many proportions in all traffic accidents, but obviously, the accident damage is quite serious when comparing the level of the fatal per one accident. This research conducted an analysis of traffic accident injury severity using Ordered Probit Model in relation to 241 traffic accident cases that occurred caused by construction sites among the traffic accidents that took place in Seoul and Gyeoggi-do region for two years from 2006 until 2007. As a result, the significant variables enough to explain traffic accident injury severity were analyzed to be the state of road surface, linear shape of an accident spot & whether the damaging car belongs to the vehicle for construction, and whether vehicles have access to a construction site at the time of an accident. Through this, this research found out some fact as follows: first, there need to be more aggressive management of the vehicles for construction and a year-round placement of the manpower who can control vehicular access to a construction site. Second, it is necessary to get drivers to recognize the fact that there exists a construction site on the construction section which is on the border of curved roads in advance to prevent a traffic accident, helping to reduce socioeconomic loss & costs incurred by a traffic accident.

  • Many studies regarding construction safety management have been conducted. However, it is insufficient to research on external construction site. As a result, ordinary people around the construction site have injured and have a negative view when they think construction industrial since it has regarded having an overfull industrial accidents on media. To break the stereotype and prevention of accident on construction industry have been emphasized at this point in time, it is necessary to establish a comprehensive safety management system which is considered not only internal safety management but also external safety management. Therefore, the objective of this study is to develop the human accident risk quantification model by utilizing the third party payout data which occurred by incomplete safety management on external construction site. This study is conducted as a basic study for developing safety management manuals on internal·external construct site. In the future, it is expected to be used as a reference.

  • Compared to other industries the construction industry experiences more casualties and property damage due to safety accidents. One of the reasons is the increasing number of foreign workers. For this reason, past studies have found that foreign workers at construction sites are more exposed to safety accidents than non-foreign workers. Nevertheless the proportion of foreign workers involved in safety accidents at construction sites is increasing, and there has been a lack of research to predict the risk of safety accidents at construction sites. Additionally, realistic safety management is lacking due to a lack of safety accident risk prediction research. Therefore, in this study, we would like to propose basic research that proposes an AI-based safety accident prediction model framework for predicting safety accidents of foreign workers at construction sites. The framework and results of this study will contribute to reducing and preventing the risk of safety accidents for foreign workers through risk prediction for safety management of foreign workers at construction sites.

빅데이터를 활용한 AI 기반 우선점검 대상현장 선정 모델 (AI-based Construction Site Prioritization for Safety Inspection Using Big Data)

  • 지속적인 안전관리에도 불구하고 매년 건설업 근로자 사망율은 줄어들지 않는 추세다. 이에 따라 건설현장 사고를 예방하기 위한 다양한 연구가 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 건설공사 비용 50억원 미만의 건설현장 중 건설사고가 발생할 것으로 예상되는 현장을 우선적으로 선별하는 AI기반 우선점검대상 선정 모델을 개발하였다. 특히, 적용한 AI 알고리즘 중 분류분석에서 가장 뛰어난 성능(사고발생예측 AUC-ROC 90.48 %)을 보인 랜덤 포레스트를 모델 개발에 활용하였으며, 건설사고를 유발하는 주요한 요인으로는 공사비, 총공사일수, 공사실적평가액이 확인되었다. 본 연구를 통해 점검인력 효율화와 건설사고에 대한 선제적 대응의 결과로 8년간 약 917.7 % ROI(투자수익률)를 기대할 수 있다.

  • 건설산업은 전체산업분야들 중에서 가장 많은 재해사망자를 발생시키는 산업분야이다. 또한 재해건수와 재해자수가 감소하고 있는 타 산업분야와는 달리, 건설산업에서는 매년 재해건수와 재해자수가 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 한편 건설재해는 다양한 잠재 요인들이 서로 연관 축적되다가 한계에 이르게 되면 어느 한 순간에 갑작스럽게 발생하는 특징과 함께 다양한 재해가 연속적 복합적으로 일어나는 특성을 가지고 있다. 따라서 기존의 안전관리방법 만으로 안전사고를 예방하는 데에는 한계가 드러나고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 건축공사현장에서의 안전관리에 USN기술의 접목 가능성을 검토하고, 안전관리 모니터링을 위한 USN기술 적용방안을 도출하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 우선 기존 건설공사현장에서의 안전관리 업무를 분석하고, 재해율을 분석하였다. 그리고 건설공사현장의 재해 특성을 분석하여 건설현장 안전관리 모니터링의 중점관리요소와 차순위 관리요소들을 도출하였다. 마지막으로 USN기술을 적용한 건축공사현장 안전관리 모니터링 시스템의 구성과 모니터링 시스템의 흐름을 제시하였다. 이러한 첨단 USN기술의 건설분야 접목을 통하여 건설현장 근로자의 안전사고를 미연에 방지할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • The robot is an effective means to perform repetitive tasks quickly and accurately. It could be more effective in dangerous environments where human is difficult to access. The construction site is a dangerous environment with a high possibility of industrial accidents where heavy work is frequently carried out at a high place. In particular, an accident in the construction site is highly likely to lead to a severe disaster. Of course, various technologies are being developed to monitor the safety of workers in construction sites and prevent accidents, but there is a limit to eliminate the risk of accidents. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to replace workers exposed to dangerous environments with equipment or robots that could be controlled remotely in a more active way. In this study, Remote Precise Installation System was proposed to replace the workers exposed to the risk of accident at a high place during the bridge construction. Also, the conceptual design and analytical reviews of this system were carried out. Suppose Remote Precise Installation System is developed according to the derived concept and the target performance. In that case, this system is expected to be applied as a technology that can effectively replace the workers at the bridge construction site.

텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 계절별 건설현장 추락사고 특징 분석 (Characteristics Analysis of Seasonal Construction Site Fall Accident using Text Mining)

  • 우리나라의 사망사고만인율은 주요 국가와 비교하면 2~3배 높으며 그 중 건설현장의 추락사고는 가장 많은 사망사고를 유발하고 있다. 기존연구와 국가기관의 조치를 살펴보면 추락사고에 집중된 산업재해 관리의 미흡과 계절별 안전관리 대책의 미비가 그 원인인 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 기존 연구 및 조치의 한계점을 해결하기 위하여 계절별 건설현장 추락사고 특징을 도출하고, 추락사고 방지책을 마련하는데 필요한 적정 정보를 제공하고자 한다. 정보의 제공을 위하여 사고발생 인과간계에 대하여 기술한 계절별 건설현장 추락사고 기사데이터 387건을 수집 후, 주성분분석과 군집분석을 활용한 텍스트 마이닝을 실시하였다. 분석결과 계절별 특징으로서 봄에는 강설, 리프트를 포함한 장비의 무리한 운용 등이 원인이며, 여름에는 거푸집, 점검미비, 설치작업 등이 원인으로 나타났다. 그리고 가을에는 바람과 태풍의 날씨요인 등이 원인이며 겨울에는 자재운반 및 외벽작업, 안전수칙 미 준수 등이 추락사고의 원인으로 나타났다.

건설공사의 중대재해 원인분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Causes for Fatal Accident in Construction Works)

  • Various types of fatal accidents are increasing in Korean construction work site. Simply repeated and conventional accidents as well as new types of potential hazards which are caused by large-scaled work, complexity and negligence of temporary structures in construction are increasing, so that analysis of fundamental causes are necessary to control the construction accidents. In this study 739 fatal accidents are informally classified by the types of work and work process. The classified items which are based on ANSI Z 16.2, are modified adapted to the construction fields and are given code numbers and are analyzed by the data-base program. The exact causes of various types of accidents are analyzed by the accident types, agencies and hazardous conditions and through the Cross-tabulation method in order to find out the cause between relevant accidents.

축열조 공사의 위험분석지수 비교에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Comparison of the Indices of Hazard Analyses for the Construction of Heat Accumulator)

  • This study is conducted to compare three methods of hazard analyses and to propose the control for the accidents arising under construction of heat accumulator of group energy projects(co-generation plants). The analysis of fatal accidents and the Analytic Hierarchical Process(AHP) using by the questionnaire survey for the workers engaged in the construction of heat accumulator and the quantitative questionnaire survey of expert group has been carried out. In order to analyze the fatal accidents, the 115 cases of accidents from 2001 to 2012 published by Korean Occupational Safety and Health Agency(KOSHA) and workers suffered from industrial accidents are collected and analyzed. The AHP is applied and analyzed for 66 persons of the construction site managers, safety engineers and construction engineers and the questionnaire survey of expert group is carried out and analyzed for the 51 persons of contractors and construction inspectors. The analyses of the types of accidents and the jobs of the suffered workers and the hazardous construction processes which are occurred accidents frequently are shown. The results of the analysis of fatal accidents and the AHP as well as the questionnaire of expert group are shown similar results.
