굴착기의 부하율에 따른 실작업 질소산화물 배출 특성 연구 (Study on Real-Work NOx Emission Characteristics according to Load Factor of Excavator)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare the impact of engine load on the emission characteristics of excavator engines, with the aim of improving the method for calculating the emission inventory of construction machinery. The engine load in excavators is directly correlated with the operational workload, and variations in the load factor (LF) can significantly influence the emission inventory. Thus, on-board diagnostic (OBD) data from an excavator at a construction site were systematically collected to measure engine output and emissions. The results revealed discernible differences in emissions based on engine load, even when the average excavator engine performance remained constant. This highlights the significant influence of the type and characteristics of the work being carried out on emission characteristics. Making realistic adjustments to the LF used in emission calculation formulas emerges as a crucial strategy for environmental improvement. Moreover, the analysis of the effects of engine load on emissions from excavators provides valuable insights for enhancing environmental protection measures.

해외건설 프로젝트 특성에 따른 입찰 성공률 분석에 관한 기초연구 (Preliminary Analysis of the Bid Success Ratio according to the Characteristics of Overseas Construction Projects)

  • 건설산업에 있어 입찰 경쟁력은 기업의 가장 기본적이며 중요한 역량이다. 입찰 경쟁력은 기업이 보유한 경쟁우위에 기인한 것이나, 입찰 경쟁력을 확보하기 위한 기업의 전략은 결국 프로젝트의 특성에 따라 달라질 수 있다. 특히 해외건설은 건설업의 고유성과 해외사업이라는 특수성이 공존하는 분야로, 본 연구는 국내기업들이 도급형 방식으로 실시한 12,952건의 해외 프로젝트 입찰 사례를 수집하여 프로젝트 특성에 따른 입찰 성공률을 분석하고 그 차이를 확인하여 상황별 입찰 난이도를 진단하였다. 분석 결과, 지역별로는 중동 지역에서, 공종별로는 토목 부문이 입찰 성공률이 낮아 입찰활동에 대한 난이도가 높음을 파악할 수 있었다. 또한 프로젝트 규모나 기간이 작은 그룹이 상대적으로 입찰 성공률이 높음을 확인하였고, 입찰방식에 따라서는 수의시담 방식이, 발주자 형태별로는 민간부문 발주 프로젝트의 입찰 성공률이 높은 것으로 분석됐다. 반면 계약방식이나 시대구분의 경우 Kruskal-Wallis test 결과, 그룹 간 기업별 입찰 성공률이 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 산업차원에서 해외건설 프로젝트 특성요인에 따른 입찰 성공률을 다각적으로 분석했을 뿐 아니라 해외건설 실무자에게 상황별 수주활동 난이도 진단 및 효과적인 입찰전략 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

북촌도시한옥의 지붕가구(架構) 특징에 관한 연구 (The Roof Construction Method of Urban Hanok in Bukchon, Seoul)

  • We have focused on the roof construction method of Urban Hanok in Bukchon, Seoul. The Urban Hanok, urban traditional housing type, had been evolved In modern context from 1930's to 1960's. We have confused Urban Hanok with traditional Hanok, because they have similar figures. But Urban Hanok have the characteristics as a result of the roof construction method. The purpose of this paper is to define Urban Hanok more concretely, thus we payed attention to the roof structure, specially to the comer that each roof structure meets. So we got some characteristics of the roof construction method of Urban Hanok in Bukchon. First, the roof construction methods of the roof are transformed at the corner parts, where three purlin structure and five purlin structure meet. The collision of the different roof structure has made a lot of types. Second, the roof slope of Urban Hanok is more gentle than traditional Hanok, that is caused by ornamental double eaves and awnings. Finally these characteristics are results of the compact lot size in urban neighborhood. The construction method is a inclusive word that contain materials, composition, ornament and social common sense. With the understanding on the roof construction method of Urban Hanok, we can define the identity and the value of Urban Hanok, And we can suggest the policy and the design guidelines for the reservation and rehabilitation for Urban Hanok of Bukchon, Seoul.

현장시험을 이용한 제주지역의 지질특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Geotechnical Characteristics of Jeju Area Using Field Tests)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구에서는 제주 지역 지반의 특성을 분석하여 연구함으로써 향후 개발사업 진행시 공법설계등의 기초자료로 활용한다. 연구방법: 제주 지역에서 진행된 공사의 지반조사 데이터를 기반으로 심도, 상대밀도, N치, 함수상태, 색조, 지하수위, 압축강도를 분석하고 연구하였다. 연구결과: 본 연구로 부터 제주지역이 고대부터 진행된 화산활동과 인근의 해수에 의한 급속한 냉각으로 이루어진 주상절리와 해안부에서 두텁게 발견된 모래층, 그리고 수성화산활동에 의해 형성된 클링커층 및 서귀포층이 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 결론: 제주지역의 특수한 지반 형태를 이해하고 공사 설계시 그 특성을 잘 반영하여 기초 설계 및 기초 공법 선정의 자료로 쓰여지길 기대한다.

  • A making a decision of construction cost has important meaning and function for both contractor and owner in construction projects. Especially, it should be premised that estimating the construction cost in efficient and rational way in public construction, which is invested by government funds, for efficient execution of the budget and investment as a side of government. The systematic methodology for estimating construction cost approximately of a river facility construction project has not yet been established because of its unique characteristics including its relatively small project size in terms of cost. On this study, It collect and analyze a river facility construction historical cost data for develop an approximate cost estimating model for river applied by typical embankment section method and rate application of the others activity type. And it verify suitability of model through a that result of application of real river facility construction statement at developed model. By this study, it is expected to reasonable and systematic estimating construction cost through application of developed model.

  • There is no disagreement that the construction sector will play an important role in inter-Korean economic development cooperation. However, very few studies have been made at North Korea's construction technology. North Korea shows a lot of differences from South Korea, from the quality standards of building materials to construction technology. It is clear that these differences will be a stumbling block to the promotion of construction projects in the inter-Korean cooperation stage. Therefore, the start of inter-Korean economic development cooperation should be preceded by work to clearly recognize each other's differences and lay the foundation for integration or compatibility. The purpose of this study is to compare the construction technology of rebar concrete construction. We compared the differences with Korea's construction method based on the construction books recently published in North Korea, and derived the characteristics of North and South Korea for each detailed process of reinforced concrete construction.

Challenges and suggestions of resource planning for standardized concurrent construction

  • Concurrent construction offers considerable improvement for shorten the project duration of its production process. Therefore, standardized concurrent construction is widely applied in building construction projects. However, resources planning for standardized concurrent construction project is manually developed by construction manager. This practice is not effective since it is time-consuming and error-prone for managers to identify all project-specific information, distinguish different activity-resource types, interpret these types and analyze how they affect resource allocated on an ad hoc basis. Therefore, this research investigates the opportunity for leveraging activity modeling to enable automated resource planning for standardized concurrent construction during project development, with identifying the characteristics of construction activities under standardized concurrent planning and determining the activity-resources types that affects resource planning. Both will function as a basis for modeling these construction activities in a computer-interpretable manner and for automation in resource planning.

  • Since its introduction in mid 1990s, Financial Crisis in Korea, knowledge management (KM) has been considered as a new, optimal way of corporate management style. And a large number of researches, either theoretically or empirically, were carried out in order to find out what the key success factors will be in common. However, though key success factors are extracted, it can hardly be a successful project if those are not well matched for the unique industry characteristics, still more in construction industry. Even we can find some KM precedents in construction industry, it can hardly be revealed how far they exerted themselves in order to match key factors with industry characteristics. Hence, at the dawn of implementing KM, this research work will scrutinize key success factors (KSFs) derived from previous studies and funnel those KSFs into construction domain. Then rearranged KSFs will be proposed with each key issues. Therefore, this article can contribute to setting strategies for KM in construction sector.

  • When the foundation work of the underground part of the building structure or the excavation work of the civil engineering structure is carried out, there is the earthwork work by the inevitable process. As the economic situation continues to develop, construction in urban areas is becoming bigger and higher in scale due to the expansion of infrastructure and the rescue of urban dwellings in urban areas, and excavation of underground roads is inevitable. Excavation of the underground part may cause problems in the process difficulty and safety of the earthworks due to the complexity and various characteristics of the ground selected without consideration of the ground characteristics and site conditions. In order to complete the required facilities, it is necessary to secure the design and construction of the retaining walls. In order to complete the required construction, It is an important factor satisfying construction period and economical efficiency.

자연하안조성을 위한 SWAT-K 모의치 기반 유황 분석 (Analysis of Flow Duration Based on SWAT-K Simulation for Construction of Natural Riparian)

  • In this study, the method of estimating hydrologic information (water depth, submerged period etc.) on the proper selection of construction point and scale as well as vegetation type suggested for the design of natural riparian rehabilitation structure. Long-term comprehensive watershed model SWAT-K(Korea) was applied to this purpose. Flow duration analysis was conducted to analyze the hydrologic characteristics of Pyungchang watershed at which the 'bangtul' construction method was tested. For this purpose 20 years (1989-2008) rainfall runoff analysis was carried out. Based on the simulated daily streamflow data, flow duration curve was made to analyze the flow characteristics, and the water depth hydrograph was made to analyze the water depth distribution at the cross section. Finally, the information for the selection of proper vegetation according to the submerged period is suggested.
