At the planning and design stages of a development of underground space or tunneling project, the information regarding ground conditions is very important to enhance economical efficiency and overall safety In general, the information can be expressed using RMR or Q-system and with the geophysical exploration image. RMR or Q-system can provide direct information of rock mass in a local scale for the design scheme. Oppositely, the image of geophysical exploration can provide an exthaustive but indirect information. These two types of the information have inherent uncertainties from various sources and are given in different scales and with their own physical meanings. Recently, RMR has been estimated in unsampled areas based on given data using geostatistical methods like Kriging and conditional simulation. In this study, simulated annealing(SA) is applied to overcome the shortcomings of Kriging methods or conditional simulations just using a primary variable. Using this technique, RMR and the image of geophysical exploration can be integrated to construct the spatial distribution of RM and to evaluate its uncertainty. The SA method was applied to solve an optimization problem with constraints. We have suggested the practical procedure of the SA technique for the uncertainty evaluation of RMR and also demonstrated this technique through an application, where it was used to identify the spatial distribution of RMR and quantify the uncertainty. For a geotechnical application, the objective functions of SA are defined using statistical models of RMR and the correlations between RMR and the reference image. The applicability and validity of this application are examined and then the result of uncertainty evaluation can be used to optimize the tunnel layout.
The purpose of this study was to extract of Sub-elements of technological communication skills and to construct of a system model. In order to achieve the goal of the study, it was carried out in two steps: (1)Extraction sub-elements and definitions of technological communication skills, (2)Development of a system model of technological communication skills. Obtained conclusions by the process of this research were as follows. First, sub-elements of the technological communication skills were extracted and they were images, sketches, flowcharts, drawings, prototyping, symbols tables graphs and presentations. Second, using the 'technological communication tools' based on the "collaborative activities in online and offline', technological communication skills were defined as communication skills to be raised through the process of 'Idea through the Communication', 'Realization through the Communication', 'Wrap up through the Communication'. Third, technological communication skills were described as the system, in which 'Idea through the Communication(images, sketches, flowcharts)', 'Realization through the Communication(design, prototyping)', 'Wrap up through the Communication(symbol table graph, presentation)' were collaboratively activated. Fourth, checking tool for the technological communication skills was developed, based on checking tool for the existing communication skills and system model for technological communication skills. And it was improved by the expert validity test.
Previous research has recently shown that non-cognitive factors such as attitudes toward statistics contribute positively to statistics learning, Hence, helping students develop positive attitudes toward statistics has become one of the essential goals of statistics teaching. A wide variety of instruments assessing attitudes toward statistics were developed and validated in foreign countries, but not many in Korea. The SATS-36(Survey of Attitudes Toward Statistics-36; Schau et al., 1995) has been regarded as one of the most valid measures of attitudes toward statistics. Therefore, this study was designed to validate a Korean version of Survey of Attitudes Toward Statistics(K-SATS). Instead of six factors of the original scale, a five-factor structure including interests, value, cognitive competence, difficulty, and effort was empirically supported by the Korean student sample. The results evidenced high reliability and construct validity of K-SATS. In addition, students' attitudes towards statistics differed across gender, level of statistics courses, degree programs, and major. These findings were discussed in terms of their implications for future research and statistics teaching.
This study was carried out in order to develop and validate the Korean Version of Strengths Scale for individuals with mental illness. The first step taken to develop the scale was to construct sample items for the Strengths Scale using literature research and three focus group interviews of individuals with mental illness. Secondly, two professors of the Social welfare Department of a University and two mental social workers reviewed these sample items to select and compile a final version of the scale. Lastly, the scale's reliability and validity was verified through an empirical study of 478 individuals with mental illness who conduct the survey items. The explanatory factor was that the sample items can be grouped into seven factors. Factor 1 was 'Vocation', Factor 2 was 'Family and Social Support', Factor 3 was 'Optimism', Factor 4 was 'Resources Utilization', Factor 5 was 'Coping Behavior', Factor 6 was 'Leisure', Factor 7 was 'Health'. The Confirmatory analysis showed that the model demonstrated a goodness- of-fit. Finally, the Korean Version of Strengths Scale for individuals with mental illness was developed consisting 40 items and was proposed a mental health social work implications.
Recognizing the importance of affective factors in mathematical learning and achievement, international comparative assessment as PISA and TIMSS survey affective achievement as well as scholastic achievement. On the affective survey those items of PISA are categorized by 5 factors ; interest of mathematics, instrumental motivation, Mathematics self-efficacy, mathematics anxiety, mathematics self-concept) and those of TIMSS are categorized by 3 factors; Positive affect toward mathematics (PATM), Students' Self-Confidence in Learning Mathematics(SCM), and Students' Valuing Mathematics(SVM). In this study we carried out Exploratory Factor Analysis, Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Measurement Equivalence/Invariance to find whether the constructs are well defined and divided. As a result of our analysis, some factors were overlapped in PISA whereas the items of TIMSS were categorized as intended in TIMSS study. Based on these results, it is confirmed that the questionnaire items need to be developed to understand our students affective characteristics. Also, how questionnaire of large-scaled international assessment can give implication to the development of the questionnaire of Korean specific.
The purpose of this study was to analyze career cognition, key competency, vocational values of university students and junior college students. The study was carried out through questionnaire survey method. The population sample for the study constituted 368 completed questionnaires from sample of 373 freshmen-women of university and students. A survey questionnaire consisted of career cognition items, key competency scale, vocational values scale, and personal characteristics items. The construct validity of key competency scale and vocational values scale were confirmed by factor analysis with varimax rotation. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were employed for data analysis. Major findings of this study were as follows: First, university students and junior college students most wanted to get a job after graduate. Many students decided their career at high school days. Many students were not prepared for their career after graduate. They recognized that major curriculum of university and junior college was very helpful to prepare their career. And many students discussed with their parents about their career. Second, key competency of them was moderately high. In the items of key competencies, 'communication and following' was the highest. And key competency of university students was better than that of junior college students. Key competency of male students was better than that of female students. Third, vocational values of them were high. In the items of vocational values, 'occupational stability' was the highest, and 'work in freedom and challenge' was the lowest. 'Occupational stability' and 'work in freedom and challenge' of junior college students was higher than that of university students. And 'occupational stability' of female students was higher than that of male students.

To assess the economic value of pharmaceutical therapy with Kremezin, we investigated the maximum amount of willingness-to-pay (WTP) of patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) for a hypothetical effect of Kremezin in delaying the initiation of dialysis treatments. A face-to-face survey was carried out in a sample of 141 CRF patients from 2 dialysis centers, composed of 82 hemodialysis patients, 38 peritoneal dialysis patients, and 21 non-dialysis CRF patients. Using a bidding game method with a starting point of 320,000 Won, which is the average monthly out-of-pocket payment for dialysis treatment, we asked the study subjects how much they would pay per month to receive Kremezin therapy. The mean out-of-pocket monthly WTP for Kremezin was 310,000, 430,000, and 520,000 Won (p<0.05, repeated one-way ANOVA)) when Kremezin delays the initiation of dialysis treatments by 1, 2, and 4 years. Significant correlation between the respondent's WTP and income $(r=0.266{\sim}0.368,\;p<0.05)$ confirmed the construct validity of the WTP instrument. Regression results showed that patients with a higher education, with diabetes as a major causes of CRF, and undergoing hemodialysis treatments tended to express higher WTP for Kremezin. The economic value of WTP from the perspective of patients varied from 310,000 to 520,000 Won depending on the effect size of Kremezin. The mean WTP was higher than 32,000 Won, only when the hypothetical effect of Kremezin in delaying the initiation of dialysis is for 2 years. This implies that Kremezin might be the preferred choice of therapy by CRF patients if it delays the initiation of dialysis treatment for at least 2 years.
Objectives : This study looked at the symptoms of alexithymia in schizophrenia and their association with clinical variables and schizophrenic symptomatology. Methods Consecutive fifty eight inpatients with DSM-IV diagnoses of schizophrenia completed 26item version of Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS), Symptom Checklist-90-Revised(SCL-90-R), and Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS). Results : Authors did not find any correlation between scores of PANSS and TAS. However, all the subscale scores of SCL-90-R were significantly correlated with total score of TAS. Also, 'difficulty identifying and deistinguishing between feelings and bodily sensations' and 'difficulty describing feelings' significantly correlated with SCL-90-R subscale scores. 'Reduced daydreaming' had mixed findings and 'externally oriented thinking' did not correlate. Multiple regression model included Global Severity Index of SCL-90-R accounting 28.2% of variance for TAS scores. Conclusion : These findings together with discrepancy in results between objective and subjective tests suggest that alexithymia in schizophrenia may have two constructs, 'difficulty to describe and communicate feelings(state)' and 'externally oriented thinking(trait)' Authors suggest further study needs to confirm construct validity of TAS in this population.
The objective of this study proposes the new user's addiction model in 'Social Network Games' (SNGs). Research model is derived from the separation of two characteristics. First one is logical characteristics that includes 'Functional' (F), 'Keystroke' (K), and 'Goal' (G). Second one is feeling characteristics that consists a few factors such as 'Emotion' (E), 'Social' (S), and 'Affection' (A). For the pre-test, a total of 30 participants responded to survey in order to inspect the fitness of research questionnaire, roughly validity of the proposed model, and the direction of this reseach. After that for the main test, a total 300 users participated in this research. The final number of effective participants were 261 because 39 were insincere respondents and without playing SNGs who were excluded. Then we examined the measurement model by performing 'Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling' (PLS-SEM) analysis to test the research hypothesis empirically. The results of the measurement and structural model test lend support to the proposed research model by providing a good fit to the construct data. Interestingly, the model showed the significant effects of the interaction between eleven hypothesis(H1,H2,H3,H4,H5,H6,H7,H8,H9,H10, H12). Only one hypothesis decision t-value not supported that is involved the relationship between SNGs Addiction and Keystroke, H11(1.193). This research expect to contributes to an exploratory SNGs research to clarify the base of addition and will aids understanding of users' behavior associated with SNGs development.

The purpose of this study is to verify the structural relationship empirically among self-esteem, self-efficacy and life satisfaction of college students who answered that they had high academic stress. SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 21.0 were used to achieve the objectives of this study. In SPSS 23.0, frequency analysis to analyze demographic characteristics, correlation analysis to verify multi-collinearity among the questionnaire scales, and reliability verification to determine the reliability of questionnaire questions were conducted. In AMOS 21.0, confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to verify the construct validity of factors and to verify the causal relationship between variables. To determine the goodness of fit of the model, the 𝑥2 test and the goodness-of-fit index were used. Judging. First, the self-efficacy of college students with high academic stress group through swimming class was positively influenced on self-esteem. Second, the self-efficacy of college students with high academic stress group through swimming class was positively influenced on life satisfaction. Third, the self-esteem of college students with high academic stress group through swimming class was found to affect life satisfaction. This study has significance in demonstrating the problem of academic stress of Korean university students and in proposing expansion of the physical education class as a solution.
