The effect of different confluence confirmation strategies on the obturation of Vertucci type II canal: micro-CT analysis

  • Objectives: The present study aims to compare the obturation quality of 2 confluence confirmation techniques in artificial maxillary first premolars showing Vertucci type II root canal configuration. Materials and Methods: Thirty artificial maxillary premolars having Vertucci type II root canal configuration were made. They were divided into 3 groups according to the confluence confirmation technique as follows. Gutta-percha indentation (GPI) group (confluence confirmation using a gutta-percha cone and a K file); electronic apex locator (EAL) group (confluence confirmation using K files and EAL); and no confluence detection (NCD) group. In the GPI group and the EAL group, shaping and obturation were performed with the modified working length (WL). In the NCD group, shaping was performed without WL adjustment and obturation was carried out with an adjusted master cone. Micro-computed tomography was used before preparation and after obturation to calculate the percentage of gutta-percha occupied volume (%GPv) and the volume increase in the apical 4 mm. Data were analyzed using 1-way analysis of variance and post hoc Tukey's test. Results: Statistically significant difference was not found in terms of the %GPv from the apex to apical 4 mm. However, the NCD group showed a statistically significant volume increase compared with the EAL group (p < 0.05). Conclusions: In terms of gutta-percha occupied volume, no significant difference was observed among the 3 groups. Confluence confirmation using an EAL in teeth with Vertucci type II configuration showed less volume increase during canal shaping compared with no confluence confirmation.

SFQ 컨플런스 버퍼와 DC 스위치의 디자인과 특성 (Design and Characteristic of the SFQ Confluence buffer and SFQ DC switch)

  • Confluence buffers and single flux quantum (SFQ) switches are essential components in constructing a high speed superconductive Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU). In this work, we developed a SFQ confluence buffer and an SFQ switch. It is very important to optimize the circuit parameters of a confluence buffer and an SFQ switch to implement them into an ALU. The confluence buffer that we are currently using has a small bias margin of $\pm$11%. By optimizing it with a Josephson circuit simulator, we improved the design of confluence buffer. Our simulation study showed that we improved bias global margin of 10% more than the existent confluence buffer. In simulations, the minimal bias margin was $\pm$33%. We also designed, fabricated, and tested an SFQ switch operating in a DC mode. The mask layout used to fabricate the SFQ switch was obtained after circuit optimization. The test results of our SFQ switch showed that it operated correctly and had a reasonably wide margin of $\pm$15%.

Design Improvement and Measurement of a Rapid Single Flux Quantum Confluence Buffer

  • Rapid Single flux quantum (RSFQ) confluence buffer is widely used in complex superconductive digital circuits. In this work, we have improved the currently used confluence buffer and obtained a more soundly designed confluence buffer. In simulations, improvements in the bias margins of 11 % and the global margins of 10%, compared to the previously used confluence buffer, were achieved. Global margins are very important in estimating a process error range allowed in fabrications. We used two circuit simulation tools, WRspice and Julia, to design and optimize the confluence buffer. We used Xic to obtain a mask layout. We fabricated the improved circuits by using Nb technology. The test results at low frequency showed that the improved confluence buffer operated correctly and had a very wide main bias margin of +/-43% enhanced from +/-26% of the previously used confluence buffer.

합류부 하상고 불일치에 의한 분리구역 특성분석 (An Analysis on the Characteristics of Separation Zone Due to a Bed Discordance at Confluence)

  • 합류부에서의 지류의 합류각, 지류와 본류의 유량비에 추가하여, 본류 준설에 의한 하상고 불일치에 따른 다양한 양상의 분리구역의 특성을 CCHE2D 모형을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분리구역은 지류가 합류되어진 직후 단면에서의 유속이 0(영)인 경계로 정의하였다. 합류각 $30^{\circ}$ 이하에서는 분리구역이 형성되지 않았다. 유량비와 합류각 증가에 따른 분리구역의 크기는 일반적으로 증가하는 양상으로 나타났다. 준설 깊이비 증가에 따른 분리구역의 크기는 합류부 수용체의 증가에 기인한 지류에서의 상대적인 운동량의 감소로 인하여 감소되었다. 유량비와 합류각의 변화에 따른 분리구역의 수축지수를 규명하였고, 통수기능의 저하에 따른 배수영향을 확인하였다. 합류각, 유량비, 준설 깊이비에 따른 분리구역의 형상지수의 관계식을 제안하였다.

작업치료(학)과 대학생의 창의융합역량에 대한 조사연구 (Research on Creative Confluence Competency of Occupational Therapy Students)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to investigate creative confluence competency of occupational therapy students and to understand the correlations between five sub-elements of creative confluence competency. Methods : The subjects of this study were 132 occupational therapy students. The data collection period was from February 12, 2020, to February 28, 2020. A Google questionnaire was used to collect data through SNS; 16 data with insufficient responses were excluded, and 116 data were finally analyzed. The collected data was processed using SPSS 21.0. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results : The mean scores for creative confluence competency of the occupational therapy students is as follows: Creative ability 3.12±.58, creative personality 3.29±.55, creative leadership 3.50±.53, convergent thinking 3.23±.57, confluent value creation 3.04±.59. Occupational therapy students' creative leadership competence was highest, and confluent value creation competence was lowest. The average score of creative confluence competency of occupational therapy students was 3.12±.58, and the Cronbach' α value of the creative confluence competency was .97, which was very reliable. There was a positive correlation between the five sub-elements of creative confluence competency. Conclusion : The data in this study are related to efforts to improve occupational therapy students' creative confluence competency and prepare for convergence education. And It is expected to be used as basic data for the development of occupational therapist competency to prepare for the 4th industrial revolution.

대학생 핵심역량(K-CESA)이 창의융합역량에 미치는 영향과 코칭역량의 매개효과 (Analysis of relationship between K-CESA and creativity confluence competency and coaching skill of undergraduate students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생 핵심역량과 창의융합역량 및 코칭역량 간의 관계를 분석하는 데 목적을 두었다. G지역 사립대학에 재학 중인 대학생 344명을 대상으로 실시하였고, 대학생 핵심역량, 코칭역량, 창의융합역량에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기초통계를 통해 일반적 경향을 살펴보았고, 관련성과 매개효과를 분석하기 위해 Pearson의 상관관계분석과 회귀분석 및 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 자료 분석 결과 첫째, 대학생 핵심역량, 코칭역량, 창의융합역량은 정규성 가정을 충족하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생 핵심역량과 창의융합역량은 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 이는 핵심역량의 점수가 높을수록 창의융합역량이 높아진다고 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 코칭역량과 창의융합역량은 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 이는 코칭역량의 점수가 높을수록 창의융합역량이 높아진다고 볼 수 있다. 넷째, 핵심역량은 창의융합역량을 의미 있게 예측하는 변인으로 나타났으며, 코칭역량이 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 창의융합역량을 강화하는 데 핵심역량과 코칭역량을 중요하게 고려해야 함을 알 수 있었고, 역량강화를 위한 비교과 프로그램 운영의 중요성을 제시하였다.

합류부 하상고 불일치에 의한 두부침식 및 분리구역 특성분석 (An Analysis for the Characteristics of Headward Erosion and Separation Zone due to Bed Discordance at Confluence)

  • 본 연구는 지류의 합류각, 지류와 본류의 유량비, 준설 깊이비의 변화에 따른 지류에서의 두부침식 양상과 합류부 이동상 하도에서의 분리구역의 특성을 분석하였다. 분리구역은 지류가 합류되어진 직후 단면에서의 유속이 0(영)인 구간으로 정의하였다. 준설 깊이에 따른 두부침식이 발생치 않은 범위를 제시하였다. 합류각, 유량비, 준설 깊이비 증가에 따른 두부침식 깊이비 및 천급점의 이동거리비는 전반적으로 증가하였으며, 천급점의 이동거리비의 관계식을 제시하였다. 이동상 하도에서의 유량비와 합류각 증가에 따른 분리구역의 길이비 및 폭비는 고정상 하도에서와 같은 양상으로 증가하였다. 준설 깊이비 증가에 따른 분리구역의 길이비는 감소하고 폭비은 증가하여 형상지수는 크게 증가하여 통수단면의 감소로 배수위 현상이 기대된다. 고정상 하도와 이동상하도에서의 합류각, 유량비, 준설 깊이비에 따른 형상지수 관계식을 제안하였다.

하천합류부 구조에 따른 배수능력 해석 (Impact Analysis of Different Form on Drainability at River Confluence Area)

  • There are many channel confluences existing in natural river systems, where the hydraulics are very complex because of the interactive between tributary and main river The RMA-2 model Is applied in this paper to model the confluence between Uksu Chun subriver and Nam Chun main river. Based on three types of assumed confluence forms, the model resuits present the hydraulics at channel confluence can be divided into several zones including a zone of separation immediately downstream of the junction branch channel, a maximum and minimum velocity region at upstream and downstream in the confluent channel, and a shear plane developed between the two combing flows at downstream of confluent channel. And the different types of confluent forms performs a very high effect on drainability of tributary, so it is very necessary to design a reasonable confluent forms.

D Flip-Flop과 Confluence Buffer로 구성된 단자속 양자 OR gate의 설계와 측정 (Design and Measurement of an SFQ OR gate composed of a D Flip-Flop and a Confluence Buffer)

  • We have designed and measured an SFQ(Single Flux Quantum) OR gate for a superconducting ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit). To optimize the circuit, we used WRspice, XIC and Lmeter for simulations and layouts. The OR gate was consisted of a Confluence Buffer and a D Flip-Flop. When a pulse enters into the OR gate, the pulse does not propagate to the other input port because of the Confluence Buffer. A role of D Flip-Flip is expelling the data when the clock is entered into D Flip-Flop. For the measurement of the OR gate operation, we attached three DC/SFQs, three SFQ/DCs and one RS Flip -Flop to the OR gate. DC/SFQ circuits were used to generate the data pulses and clock pulses. Input frequency of 10kHz and 1MHzwere used to generate the SFQ pulses from DC/SFQ circuits. Output data from OR gate moved to RS flip -Flop to display the output on the oscilloscope. We obtained bias margins of the D Flip -Flop and the Confluence Buffer from the measurements. The measured bias margins $\pm$38.6% and $\pm$23.2% for D Flip-Flop and Confluence Buffer, respectively The circuit was measured at the liquid helium temperature.

남한강과 금당천 합류부 구간에서의 지류 유입유량 변화에 따른 흐름특성 및 하상변동 수치모의 (Numerical Analysis of Flow and Bed Changes due to Tributary Inflow Variation at the Confluence of the Namhan River and the Geumdang Stream)

  • 본 연구에서는 하상변동 및 하상유지공 유실 문제가 발생했던 남한강과 금당천 합류부 지점을 대상으로 지류에서 유입되는 유량의 변화에 따른 흐름특성 및 하상변동 특성을 2차원 수치모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 대상 구간의 수치모의 분석결과, 본류에서는 흐름집중 현상에 의해 지류 유입유량에 관계없이 합류 전에 비해 합류 후 유속이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 지류 유입유량이 클수록 지류하천의 하도 침식이 가속화되고 따라서 주하도가 형성되어 지류에서의 마름영역이 더 크게 나타났다. 이로 인한 지류에서의 하도 침식은 지류에서의 유사발생량을 증가시키고 침식된 유사는 합류부 구간에 퇴적되는 것으로 나타났다. 합류부 구간에서의 지류 유입부 퇴적은 본류 흐름을 좌안으로 집중시키고 좌안의 하상이 저하되는 현상을 야기하였다.
