This study proposes an experimental formula that can estimate the applied tensile stress of a bonded PSC by measuring a longitudinal stress wave velocity of tendon. To develop practical formula, the various bonded PSC specimens are constructed with different levels of prestresses. For all the bonded PSC specimens, the longitudinal impact-echo tests are repeated with various experimental conditions. Considering a few influence factors such as temperature, length and the number of strands, the application of the law of similarity results in a nondemensional experimental formula that could estimate existing tensile stress on tendon by measuring its longitudinal stress wave velocity. Next, a feasibility study of proposed approach has been conducted for a real reactor building containment. The estimated stress levels of two vertical tendons embedded in the nuclear plant are close to their design values.
This paper includes new nozzle design, basic design factors of water mist system that minimize a thermal damage of cable causing business interruption and applying underground utility tunnel. A underground concrete structure (2.5 m(H)$\times$2.5 m(W)$\times$25 m(D)) is constructed in order to test a nozzle performance. Under the designing fire scenario, critical thermal damage of cable sheath ($400^{\circ}c$) reached within a 2 minutes with unsuppressed fire, but type 1 nozzle (SMD 470 $\mu{m}$) and type 2 nozzle (SMD 650 $\mu{m}$) control cable temperature below $400^{\circ}c$. A system performance and fundamental design factors; K factor, flow rate, spray angle, size distribution, nozzle pressure, spray density are analyzed and proposed for system optimization.

Palmaria palmata was integrated with Atlantic halibut Hippoglossus hippoglossus on a commercial farm for one year starting in November, with a temperature range of 0.4 to $19.1^{\circ}C$. The seaweed was grown in nine plastic mesh cages (each $1.25m^3$ volume) suspended in a concrete sump tank ($46m^3$) in each of three recirculating systems. Two tanks received effluent water from tanks stocked with halibut, and the third received ambient seawater serving as a control. Thalli were tumbled by continuous aeration, and held under a constant photoperiod of 16 : 8 (L : D). Palmaria stocking density was $2.95kg\;m^{-3}$ initially, increasing to $9.85kg\;m^{-3}$ after a year. Specific growth rate was highest from April to June (8.0 to $9.0^{\circ}C$), 1.1% $d^{-1}$ in the halibut effluent and 0.8% $d^{-1}$ in the control, but declined to zero or less than zero above $14^{\circ}C$. Total tissue nitrogen of Palmaria in effluent water was 4.2 to 4.4% DW from January to October, whereas tissue N in the control system declined to 3.0-3.6% DW from April to October. Tissue carbon was independent of seawater source at 39.9% DW. Estimated tank space required by Palmaria for 50% removal of the nitrogen excreted by 100 t of halibut during winter is about 29,000 to $38,000m^2$, ten times the area required for halibut culture. Fifty percent removal of carbon from the same system requires 7,200 to $9,800m^2$ cultivation area. Integration of P. palmata with Atlantic halibut is feasible below $10^{\circ}C$, but is impractical during summer months due to disintegration of thalli associated with reproductive maturation.

Resulties of research on the capacity of ground water of 994 concrete-pipe-wells and 97 infiltration-gallerys in ground-water-developement-works region executed from March to Julyin 1969, in Choong Chung Nam Do, and research on the quality of ground water for 88 wells for home-use around of River Geum Area, are as fellows: (1) Thickness of aquifer is no more than 2.85m averagely even at river-overflowed plain, alluvial plain and valley plain area that are estimated to contain ground water mostly. And so, it is guessed that ground water capacity is not much especially. (2) Soil of aquifer of the above area is sand or gravel and it is estimated to be good for ground water developement and its mean permeability coefficient is bout $2.5{\times}10^{-3}$(m/sec), and its porosity is about 33.9%. (3) The quality of ground water is good for irrigation water exception of delta plain area. Warm water plan is to need for irrigation water when water temperature is less than 19 degrees below zero. (4) Prospect of ground water developement, judging from quality and quantity, expects to lay infiltration gallery under the ground at river bed in order to utilize under-flow-water of river bed, river-overflowed plain, alluvial plain and valley plain that ground level is less than 50m. (5) Collectable water volume of under-flow-water of river bed is about 450 to $750m^3/day$ to be able to irrigate 3ha to 5ha of the cultivated land in case that infiltration gallery length is 50m and its depth is about 5m. (6) Collectable water volume at river-overflowed plain, alluvial plain and valley plain area, is estimated $150m^3/day$ to be able to irrigated 1ha of the cultivated land.
The present aspect of the Seoggulam is the result of natural weathering of the rocks and influences by mankind. The rocks constituting the Seoggulam is granodiorite of medium and coarse grains which show brown to dark brown weathered surface resulted mainly from chemical weathering of feldspars. It also shows partly milky white or black colors due to influences by weathering products of cement used in the concrete dome and cracks. There are cracks and crack zones with very small cracks which may be formed by strong weathering and influences of shocks during operations of reconstitution and repair. However, for the better conservation, it must be considered to maintain the balances of temperature and moisture, especially relative moisture in places within the room, structural stability, and the influences of vibration made up by some reasons.

The impulse of this paper is to examine the influence of unsteady flow comprising of Eyring-Powell nanofluid over a stretched surface. This work aims to explore efficient transfer of heat in Eyring-Powell nanofluid with bio-convection. Nanofluids possess significant features that have aroused various investigators because of their utilization in industrial and nanotechnology. The influence of including motile microorganism is to stabilize the nanoparticle suspensions develop by the mixed influence of magnetic field and buoyancy force. This research paper reveals the detailed information about the linearly compressed Magnetohydrodynamics boundary layer flux of two dimensional Eyring-Powell nanofluid through disposed surface area due to the existence of microorganism with inclusion the influence of non- linear thermal radiation, energy activation and bio-convection. The liquid is likely to allow conduction and thickness of the liquid is supposed to show variation exponentially. By using appropriate similarity type transforms, the nonlinear PDE's are converted into dimensionless ODE's. The results of ODE's are finally concluded by employing (HAM) Homotopy Analysis approach. The influence of relevant parameters on concentration, temperature, velocity and motile microorganism density are studied by the use of graphs and tables. We acquire skin friction, local Nusselt and motil microorganism number for various parameters.
This study was conducted to investigate in vivo and in vitro digestibility in juvenile Atlantic Bluefin tuna Thunnus thynnus. In vivo digestibility was compared between four experimental diets to determine the optimum dietary inclusion level of an enzyme-treated sardine fish meal (EFM) and sardine fish meal (FM). The experimental diets were as follows; EFM75 (75% EFM), EFM60 (60% EFM and 15% FM), FM75 (75% FM) and SL (frozen sand lance) as a raw fish feed. Feces of Bluefin tuna (90.3 g) were collected both by siphoning from a 700 L cage and by dissection in 69 ton concrete rearing tanks. For the siphoning method, protein digestibility was higher in the tuna fed SL diet than that of other groups. The lowest protein digestibility was observed in FM75. For the dissection method, protein digestibility was higher in tuna fed EFM75 diet than that of other groups. The lowest protein digestibility was observed in the EFM60 group. In vitro digestibility was compared in six protein sources to find an alternative source of EFM for the tuna feed. The highest in vitro digestibility was observed in EFM (92%) followed by low temperature FM (72%), meat meal (65%), feather meal (60%), sardine fish meal (57%) and poultry by-product meal (55%).

This paper presents the feasibility of incorporating ultrafine particles collected in the separator bag filter (separator bag filter cement, SBFC) during the cement manufacturing process as an substitution material for cement. SBFC does not require additional processes needed in the existing processes to manufacture high early strength cement such as modifying mineral components and adjusting the firing temperature. Moreover, it can also solve the issue of efficiency decrease resulted from the increase of the grinding time applied in the existing process of manufacturing microcement. Therefore, this research has examined the characteristics of SBFC and fresh properties and mechanical properties after making paste and mortar using SBFC in order to use SBFC as a material to gain early strength of concrete. For results, analyzing the chemical composition and physical properties of SBFC, its blaine value was $6,953cm^3/g$, about double than that of OPC, but its chemical composition showed no significant difference. According to the result of the paste and mortar examination, the paste and mortar mixed with SBFC showed a lower flowability, earlier setting time, and higher compressive strength than that with OPC. The result of microstructure analysis of paste, the paste mixed with SBFC indicated about 9% lower internal porosity at an early age than that of OPC. The compressive strength and flexural strength of mortar were higher in the order of SBFC ratio of 100, 50 and 0% SBFC.
The concrete structure can be easily damaged due to alkali-aggregates reaction. There are several methods to identify alkali reactivity of aggregates. The most reliable method is mortar-bar test, but it takes 3 to 12 months for whole test. The authors applied "rapid method" which takes only 7 days for this test. The result of this rapid method follows; expansion ratio of mortar bar for natural aggregates taken at the Youngsan River ranges from 0.197 to 0.489%, but that from Changseong Lake has low expansion ratio of 0.147%, which is below the limit of allowance, 0.168%. Those from the Seomjin River range from 0.173 to 0.22%, and those from the Keum River range from 0.078% to 0.111%. In the case of higher expansion ratio than 0.168%, aggregates must be used with cement containing low alkali content or adding material consuming the alkali content of cement, for example, fly ash and silica fume, etc.. Most of natural aggregates in Cheolla area have no problem in physical properties, particularly the abrasion ratio is below 40%, the limit of allowance. The natural aggregate from Cheolla area consists mostly of gneiss, granite and volcanic rocks. The major alkali reactive materials are quartz mineral with undulatory extinction in gneiss and granite, and amorphous silica in volcanic rocks. Even if a certain aggregate consists of the same kind of rocks and has similar rock composition each other, content of alkali reactivity material can be various, because rock formation is locally different according to temperature and pressure. Therefore every rock type must be physically and chemically identified before using for aggregates.
Will orange scent enhance video reality if it is presented with a video which vividly illustrates orange juice? Or, will romantic scent improve video reality if it is presented along with a date scene? Whereas the former is related to reality improvement when concrete objects or places are present in a video, the latter is related to a case when they are absent. This paper reviews previous research which tested diverse videos and scents in order to answer the above two different questions, and discusses implications, limitations, and future research directions. In particular, this paper focuses on measurement methods and results regarding acceptability of olfactory information, perception of scent similarity, olfactory vividness and video reality, matching between scent vs. color (or color temperature), and description of various scents using emotional adjectives. We expect this paper to help researchers or engineers who are interested in using scents for video reality.
