  • In this paper, we describe a method for fuzzy polynomial regression analysis for fuzzy input-output data using shape preserving operations based on Tanaka’s approach. Shape preserving operations simplifies the computation of fuzzy arithmetic operations. We derive the solution using general linear program.

  • In this article, we discuss a Grobner basis algorithm related to the stability of algebraic varieties in the sense of Geometric Invariant Theory. We implement the algorithm with Macaulay 2 and use it to prove the stability of certain curves that play an important role in the log minimal model program for the moduli space of curves.

  • In this paper, we describe a method for fuzzy polynomial regression analysis for fuzzy input--output data using shape preserving operations for least-squares fitting. Shape preserving operations simplifies the computation of fuzzy arithmetic operations. We derive the solution using mixed nonlinear program.

  • We have developed a catenary-pantograph dynamic simulation program by using the finite element method and verified the accuracy according to the EN 50319. During the validation process, we have reviewed which the time integration methods is proper for this application. among the Newmark method, Wilson theta method and alpha method. We conclude that the alpha method is the best in terms of computation time and accuracy.

  • Fuzzy algorithm is essentially nondeterministic, but to guarantee the stable control the fuzzy control program should be deterministic in practice. Fuzzy controllers with matrix representation is very simple in construction and very fast in computation. The value of the matrix is not adequate at the first place, but can be modified by using the neural networks. We apply the simple heuristic techniques to modify the matrix successfully.

  • Multithreading is attractive in that it can tolerate memory latency and synchronization by effectively overlapping communication with computation. While several compiler techniques have been developed to produce multithreaded codes from functional languages programs, there still remains a lot of works to implement loops effectively. Executing lops in a style of multithreading usually causes some overheads, which can reduce severely the effect of multirheading. This paper suggests several methods in terms of architectures or compilers which can optimize loop execution by multithreading. We then simulate and analyze them for the matrix multiplication program.

  • Ground in must choose enough sectional area of conductor endurably in maximum fault current, fault duration time, maximum allowable temperature and have strong durability and life-time can bear enough from spontaneous corrosion or electrolytic corrosion and must choose material that problem does not exist electrically and mechanically when connection or junction. In this paper, modeled new ground wire size numerical formula, and examine and compare of modeled numerical formula and abroad regulation, and proved and analyzed validity of the new ground wire size computation method because do simulation to computer program.

  • The purpose of this paper is to describe the mutual inductance between two non-coaxial circular coils in coil gun. As being in many electromagnetic applications, one of them is fixed and the other one is moving and, being not supported, its axis may not coincide with the axis of the fixed coil. This paper presents a method for the calculation of the mutual inductance in case of non-coaxial coupled coils, the characteristics of this inductance and experimental results. For the computation, the complete elliptic integrals formula and mesh matrix technique were introduced. This method enables accurate results from relatively simple procedure and calculation program.

  • A computer program for computing the edge response function(ERF) from the optical transfer function( 0TF) was developed. The ERFs of un-aberrated optical system and aberrated optical system were studied by the use of that program. We calculated the ERFs of the optical systems with a single aberration and with a combined aberration. In sagittal case, the ERE of the optical system with defocus or spherical aberration was worse than that with coma. In tagential case, the ERF of the optical system with coma was worse than that with defocusing or spherical aberraion. Both the shape and the position of ERF were varied with coma, but only the position of ERF was varied with distortion, in tangential case.

  • The purposes of this research were to examine the effect of the catering company's dietetic internship program through a self-evaluating ability test about management performance between pre and post internship programs and consequently to suggest improvement in the internship program. In this study, two types of questionnaires were conducted in July and October 2006, targeting 41 dietetic interns who trained in a 6 months internship program. Except the 4 dropped interns, data from 37 interns were collected and used for statistical analysis, using the SPSS Win 11.0 version. The results of this study were as follows: First of all, the analysis on the effect of the internship program according to classified management segments showed significant improvements in the following order: purchase management (p<0.001), computer program management (p<0.001), facilities management (p<0.001), accounting management (p<0.01), personnel management (p<0.01), retention management (p<0.01), sanitation management (p<0.01), service management (p<0.01) and foodservice management (p<0.01). However, there was no significantly improvement in management of clients. Secondly, the result of the analysis on the details of each management segment that were significant improvement and changing score was the top 5 duties were as follows: In the purchase management, the score of weekly and daily order management was increased 1.0 (p<0.001), the score of weekly inventory management was 0.81 (p<0.001). In the computation office management, expenses handling through a computer program was 0.65 (p<0.01). In the personnel management, the score of work schedule management increased 0.81 (p<0.001). In the accounting management, the score of monthly profit and loss account management was 0.65 (p<0.001). Furthermore, qualified educational programs connected with the internship program will have to be systematically developed and continually carried out in order to improve service and management abilities of branch managers.
