The purpose of this research is to develop interior construction cost-estimating system at the early stage of the project. Though general construction estimates are typically in quantitative, interior construction should be in rather qualitative. Therefore, design-concerned cost-estimating methods should be developed to manage interior projects from the early statge. 30 estimates of VIP-Zone interior projects, were examined to develop the general type of composition and material classification. The cost has been classified by construction parts such as wall, ceiling, floor, and doors & windows and their treatments. The composition and material related estimating system (CMRES) was consisted of the unit average costs of classification and the variation coefficients. The CMRESS was verified by the case study, and the results sowed that the difference between the actual estimate and the CMRES was competitively confident.

A competitive coevolutionary algorithm is a probabilistic search method that imitates the biological process that two or more species competitively coevolve through evolutionary arms race. The algorithm has been used to efficiently solve adversarial problems that can be formulated as the search for a solution that is correct over a large space of test cases. We develop an efficient competitive coevolutionary algorithm to solve adversarial problems with high complexity. The algorithm developed in this paper employs three methods: tournament competitions, exchanging of entry fee, and localized coevolution. Analyzed in this paper are the effects of the methods on the performance of the proposed algorithm. The extensive experiments show that our algorithm can progress an evolutionary arms race between competitive coevolving species and then outperforms existing approaches to solving the adversarial problems.

The wide spread of the Internet has become a momentum to promote informatization, and thus individuals, organizations, and government bodies are competitively participating in this kind of new wave. Informatization enables us not only to circulate and utilize information without any limitation but also to maximize users' benefits and convenience. On the other hand, it brings about negative effects-security incidents such as cyber terror, Internet fraud and technology leakage, etc. Evaluation on security level should precede over all the others in order to minimize damage by security incidents since it diagnoses current status on security as it is and can be used as a guideline for appropriate security management. In this study, evaluation domains, items and indicators of information security to evaluate information security are theoretically developed on the basis of critically reviewing the major existing research. And then the coincidence level(content validity, ease and reliability of evaluation) of each evaluation indicators are empirically analyzed through performing the field study of 83 information security experts.

Photoaddition reactions of aromatic carbonyl compounds with silyl thioketene acetals have been explored. The results of this study show that the acetonphenone react with dimethyl substituted silyl thioketene acetal competitively via either single electron transfer (SET)-desilylation or [2+2]-cycloaddition pathways to produce b-hydroxyester and oxetanes. In contrast, photochemical reactions of the benzaldehyde with dimethyl substituted silyl thioketene acetal mainly lead to the formation of oxetanes arising by [2+2] cycloaddition. A comparison of the results with those of silyl ketene acetal revealed that replacement of sulfur atom in ${\alpha}$-silyl donor substrate bring about dramatic changes in chemoselectivities as well as excited state reaction mechanism.

GE974, isolated from Gyrophora esculenta, showed significant inhibitory effect on several ${\alpha}-glucosidases$ in vitro in previous study. In the present study, GE974 showed significant inhibitory effect on blood glucose elevation in mice loaded with maltose, sucrose, starch and lactose. Also, it exhibited similar effect in alloxan and streptozotocin induced diabetic mice, and genetic diabetic mice(db/db mice) loaded with maltose in dose dependent manner. These results suggest that GE974 may possess hypoglycemic effect that inhibit competitively ${\alpha}-glucosidase$ activities.

A growing number of firms are competitively entering into e-business because they see the high potential of e-business growth as an opportunity. The positive expectation of e-business market leads most firms to go into e-business, but it is not clarified what kinds of benefits firms gain through e-business. In this paper, we examine whether firms' economic benefits are related to e-business activities. For this purpose, we employ event study methodology and assess the cumulative abnormal returns for 782 e-business initiatives made by firms listed in Korean capital markets. The well-known "Dot Com Effect" is empirically verified through this study. The results of this study indicate that the e-business potential is highly evaluated in the capital market, and e-business firms are expected to create significant benefits in the future period.

We have previously isolated specific RNA aptamers with high affinity against the helicase domain of hepatitis C virus (HCV) nonstructural protein 3 (NS3). The RNA aptamers competitively and efficiently inhibited the helicase activity, partially impeding HCV replicon replication in human hepatocarcinoma cells. In this study, the RNA aptamers were tested for binding to the HCV NS3 proteins in eukaryotic cells, using a yeast three-hybrid system. The aptamers were then recognized by the HCV NS3 proteins when expressed in the cells, while the antisense sequences of the aptamers were not. These results suggest that the in vitro selected RNA aptamers can also specifically bind to the target proteins in vivo. Consequently, they could be potentially utilized as anti-HCV lead compounds.

The formation temperature for the perovskite lead zirconate titanate [Pb(Zr,Ti)O3, PZT] derived from sol-gel route was lowered by more than $100^{\circ}C$ with the addition of crystallographically suitable seed particles, such as barium titanat e (BT) or PZT. We investigated the effect of seeding on the crystallization of perovskite phase and in the microstructure of the sol-gel derived PZT powder by varying the concentration, size and chemical species of seed particles. The phase transition as a function of temperature was monitored by DTA, XRD, and Raman spectroscopy, and the interface between the seed particle and grown PZT layer was analyzed by SEM and high resolution TEM techniques. It was found that both the heterogeneous and homogeneous nucleation contributes competitively in the formation of perovskite PZT grains.

The globalized modern society has facilitated the borderless travel which always starts and ends at the airport. The airport now serves the gateway in spreading and delivering the culture, beyond the role of simply providing assistance to the transport means. Nowaday, the nations throughout the world expand the existing facilities or build the new airport competitively as the medium to link the travel and modern community as well as the symbolism of economic and technical improvement and it has been developed as a huge industry creating a high added value, beyond the simple transport services. Incheon International Airport has already been recognized as the world-class airport but still has a long way to go. It's necessary to develop the comprehensive cultural and art concept for sustainable value creation, instead of remaining as the airport with sophisticated facilities alone.
