피부미용전공자의 자격증 활용도를 높이기 위한 교육과정 재편성 제안 (The suggest the curriculum reorganization for improving certificate utilization of students who are majoring in skin care)

  • 우리나라 미용 대학 교육은 대부분 선진국과 비교하면 산업현장보다 학과 중심이다. 학과 중심은 현장의 직업 모듈보다 과목 중심으로 교육과정이 편성되어 있고, 교육훈련시간도 유연한 구성보다 시간 이수가 졸업의 요건이 되고 있다. 이런 요건으로 인해 전공 학과에서는 자격증 취득이 교육훈련의 목표가 되고 있어 교육과정 내용과 현장 실무 훈련이 일치하지 않는 문제가 발생하고 있다. 본 연구자는 이런 문제에 착안하여 피부미용전공자의 학기 중 취득한 자격증 활용정도에 대한 설문지를 제작하여 총 294명에게 자기평가기재방식으로 조사하였다. 그 결과, 취업 당시 자격증 활용도는 높았지만, 산업현장에 진입한 후에 활용도는 보통 이하의 수준이었다. 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 2014년부터 국가직무 능력표준(NCS)을 기반으로 시행하고 있는 피부미용 교과과정 개편의 필요성을 제안하고자 한다. 피부미용학과 교육계에서는 피부미용 산업체의 방향과 트랜드를 빠르게 분석하고 산업 현장 전문가들의 의견을 최대한 수렴 검토하면서 학과 중심의 교육 과정과 산업현장 실무 내용이 최대한 일치할 수 있도록 꾸준히 연구하며 개발해야 하겠다.

환자 안전 역량을 위한 수혈 시뮬레이션에서 간호학부생의 오류 발생과 복구 수준 (Nursing Students' Error and Recovery in Transfusion Simulation for Safety Competency)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the types of errors that occurred and were recovered in a simulated transfusion scenario by nursing students. Methods: Twenty-eight teams of a total of 89 nursing students participated in a transfusion simulation using a high fidelity simulator. Data were collected by observing rule based errors and built in errors recovered according to the framework of Eindhoven model. Reflective journaling was used to identify perceived safety-threatening errors and commitment to improvement. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: All teams committed the rule based errors in the scenario. The most common errors occurred in the coordination category related to communication with physician. Most of students perceived the transfusion reaction as a safety-threatening error. Conclusion: The findings indicate that students lack patient safety competence. The simulation training to decrease errors and improve safe practice provides nursing students with an effective strategy to develop patient safety competence.

Develop and Deliver Essential Information Literacy Programs

  • There is an explosion of talk about crucial, new literacies for the 21st Century, for example critical thinking, problem-solving, media literacy, technology literacy, digital literacy, visual literacy. The other day, there was even an article about "gaming literacy!" How does one make sense of it all? The common factor in all these literacies is "information" - information seeking, information use, information processing, information presentation, and information evaluation. And, these "information" elements come together in information literacy: the ability to engage in effective and efficient information problem-solving. Information literacy is the overarching and unifying literacy, and all libraries have a unique and essential role to play in delivering meaningful information literacy programs to people of all ages. In this keynote paper and address, Professor and Dean Emeritus Mike Eisenberg will define the concept and structure of library-based information literacy programs and offer strategies for developing and implementing information literacy programs that are comprehensive(reaching all users), predictable (consistent over time), and accountable(measured and reported).

Augmented Reality Technology-based Dental Radiography Simulator for Preclinical Training and Education on Dental Anatomy

  • It is important that students are provided opportunities to practice their skills in acquiring radiographic images. However, these opportunities are currently limited because of the risk of radiation exposure. To overcome this limitation, a new augmented reality-based radiography simulator was developed that enables students to practice radiographic techniques as part of self-directed learning without time and space constraints. Subsequently, cross-sectional images of a manikin phantom head obtained via computed tomography were reconstructed into a three-dimensional object. An image marker that could be recognized by a mobile device and could allow users to practice dental radiography techniques was devised. The three-dimensional object was augmented to the mobile device; consequently, among 106 stored dental radiographs on the device, a radiograph corresponding to specific imaging conditions was opened when users performed radiographic procedures. This technology could improve dental students' understanding of dental anatomy and contribute to improving their competency in acquiring dental radiographs.

대학생의 생애역량 강화를 위한 융복합형 교육시스템 모색 (A Study on a Convergence Education System to Improve University Students' Life Competencies)

  • 사회진출을 앞두고 고등교육을 받는 대학생 단계에서 가장 요구되는 생애역량은 직업역량 이다. 21세기 지식기반사회의 직업 현장에서는 다양한 능력을 보유한 인재가 요구된다. 이제는 직업역량이 높은 인재를 양성하는 것이 대학 기능 중의 하나로 간주되므로 대학교육을 통해 직업역량을 높이는 방안이 연구되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 직업역량을 강화시키는 것을 목적으로 하는 융복합형 교육시스템을 제안한다. 이 교육시스템은 융복합 전공교육, 교육과정의 융합, 교육공간의 융합, 교육방식의 융합, 교육기간의 융합을 포함하고 있다. 이런 융복합 교육시스템을 통해 인지적 역량, 비인지적 역량, 글로벌 역량을 포함한 다양한 직업역량을 강화시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

4차산업직종 공공직업교육훈련에서의 플립러닝 적용사례 연구 (A Case Study of Flipped Learning Application of Public Vocational Education and Training on the 4th Industry Occupation)

  • 본 연구는 4차산업직종 교육훈련방식 변화 요구에 맞춰 플립러닝 운영사례를 적용해봄으로써 직업교육훈련방식의 변화가능성과 교수학습 지원의 시사점을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 공공직업교육기관인 P대학 융합기술교육원 임베디드 시스템과, 대졸자 대상 직업교육훈련과정 중 총 2개의 학습모듈에 플립러닝 전략을 적용하여 시범운영 수업을 진행하였다. 그 결과, 플립러닝 적용에 대한 학습만족도는 평균 4.0, 수업추천 의향은 평균 4.2로 나타났으며, 기존 강의식수업과 비교했을 때, 교육훈련생 56.1%가 플립러닝 수업에서 몰입도가 더 높았고, 교육훈련생 36.9%가 학습 에너지는 더 소모된다고 응답하였다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 4차산업직종 교육훈련방식 적용을 위한 사전학습 참여에 대한 제도의 필요성, 플립러닝 지원을 위한 교수학습 역량강화 방안을 제안하였다.

초등학교 실과 교육과정 소프트웨어 교육에 대한 교사의 인식과 개선방안 (Teachers' Perceptions of Software Education in Elementary School Practical Arts Curriculum and Improvement Plan)

  • 4차 산업혁명 시대가 시작되고 소프트웨어의 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 교육도 이를 반영하게 되었다. 이미 여러 나라에서 소프트웨어 교육을 실시하고 있으며, 우리나라도 2015 개정 교육과정이 적용되는 2019년부터 정규 교육과정에서 소프트웨어 교육을 시작하게 되었다. 본 연구는 초등학교 실과 교육과정에서 처음으로 소프트웨어 교육을 실시한 교사들의 느낀 점과 어려움을 바탕으로 소프트웨어 교육 활성화를 위한 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 2019년 초등학교에서 소프트웨어 교육을 담당한 교사 96명을 대상으로 개인 역량, 수업 운영 방식, 교과서 및 교육자료, 수업 운영 내용, 교육환경과 관련하여 36개의 문항으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 그 중 3명을 대상으로 면담을 실시하였다. 그 결과 교육 시설과 환경 개선, 양질의 수업자료 개발 및 보급 활성화, 교사 대상의 참여형 연수와 교사 동아리 지원 확대 등의 개선사항이 필요함을 확인하였다.

A Study on the Awareness and Need for Connected-Convergence Education among College Students in Health-Related Fields

  • Background: In modern society, rapid changes in the medical environment have required medical staff to access various information and be competent in active and effective problem-solving through collegial interactions. In line with these changes, universities are aiming to connect education. This study aimed to provide basic data of connected-convergence education by survey the awareness and needs of college students in health-related fields. Methods: This study included 122 college students from the health field. A survey regarding "the awareness and need of connected-convergence education" was conducted and general characteristics of the participants were collected from June to July 2022. Results: The awareness of connected-convergence education was low at 19.7%, but the intention to participate was high at 74.6%. Subject requirements were 18.0% for medical psychology, 13.5% for communication and counseling, 13.5% for medical artificial intelligence technology convergence, and 10.4% for sports health management. In the group showing high satisfaction with the major curriculum, the demand for connected education was also high. For efficient operation, it was investigated that it was necessary to secure specialized training courses, recognition of liberal arts credits, the right to register for courses equal to those of major students, and secure dedicated classrooms. Conclusion: Although the awareness and experience of connected-convergence education among the participants were low, the intention to participate was high. As such a plan to revitalize the university curriculum was required. It is timely to discuss the nurturing of convergence-type talents and multidisciplinary thinking skills. It is meaningful to provide basic data necessary for connected-convergence education in health-related fields at university. Universities should strive to enhance job competency in the health field by providing connected-convergence education based on student demands.

NCS 기반 정보능력 학습모듈 개발 및 개선방안 (컴퓨터활용능력 중심) (Development of NCS-based information capability learning module and improving method - (Centered on computer application capability))

  • NCS is the nation-wide standard designed to standardize and systematize the capability(knowledge, technology and attitude) required for personnel to undertake their task in industrial site according to industry field and level of the task. In order to cope with rapidly changing labor market, individual has to be equipped with ability required for each relevant duty field. And company also requires worker to have basic working ability, professional knowledge or technical capability for relevant duty. Especially, the core competency, a fundamental element for all tasks, has been recognized as critical part not just in social level but also in company level. In that sense, the necessity of adding the core competence into regular education program has been vastly demanded. This study mainly deals with development of NCS-based learning module for information capability that most of industrial field want their employee to be equipped as basic skill. And, in particular, education achievement analysis for computer application capability, a subordinate capabilities of information capability, and its application method are mainly described.

전통놀이를 활용한 신체활동 프로그램이 유아의 사회적 유능감에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Traditional Play based Physical Activity Program on Social Competence of Young Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to test effects of traditional play based physical activity program on social competence. To obtain this purpose, the following research hypotheses were established. First, experimental group will show higher level of social activity than control group. Second, experimental group will show higher level of stability than control group. Third, experimental group will show higher level of cooperation than control group. Fourth, experimental group will show higher level of hypersensitiveness than control group. Forty eight four year children participated in this study. Iowa Social Competency Scale(Preschool Form) was used to measure children's social competence. Collected data were analyzed using t-test and analysis of covariance. The results of this study showed that program was effective in improving children's socal competence. These results were discussed in relation to previous study. Finally research questions for future study were suggested with comment on limitations of this study.
