역량기반 교육과정 개발을 위한 간호역량 모델링에 대한 고찰 (Modeling of Nursing Competencies for Competency-Based Curriculum Development)

  • Purpose: Competency-based curriculum has attracted many nursing institutions' attention, pursuing the enhancement of competency and the quality of education. The goal of this study was to not merely scrutinize the nomenclature of competency and competency model as a concept of pedagogy as well as nursing science, but also form a well understanding of development process for nursing competency-based curriculum and nursing competency modeling. Methods: A comprehensive review on related literatures was conducted in each section of 1) competency-based curriculum, 2) competency and competency model, and 3) contents of competency. Results: The nomenclature of competency including nursing competencies, competency modeling and competency-based curriculum were clarified and summarized. Through analyzing and reviewing former studies related to competency, desirable nursing competency modeling and nursing competency-based curriculum were proposed and described. Conclusion: Learner-centered curriculum should be established based on nursing education that emphasizes intellectual skills acquisition and the enhancement of future-oriented professionalism. Competency modeling should reflect the fact that teaching-learning strategies should focus on the integration of nursing theories and clinical practices. Nursing competency modeling is essential in order to develop a genuine competency-based curriculum while in-depth practical research should be followed so that nursing theories and clinical practices work together in a coordinated fashion.

2016 한의사 역량모델 정립 및 활용 방안 (2016 Competency Modeling for Doctor of Korean Medicine & Application Plans)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to develop a competency model for the Korean medicine doctors and find application plans for the future education in Korean medicine. Methods: Based on literature review, we drafted a competency model framework for modeling and defined competencies using generic model overlay method. Also we conducted a FGI with 20 extension specialists in Korean medicine to validate competency model. Results: Findings are 5 domains and 15 competencies. 5 domains have optimal patient care, reasonable communication skill, professionalism enhancement, performing social accountability, and efficient clinical management. 3 competencies are included in 5 domains each. With this model, 4 ways of application plans are shown to apply for the future competency-based education in Korean medicine. Conclusion: Developed 2016 competency model for the Korean medicine doctors can be a first huge step to innovate education in Korean medicine toward competency-based educational system.

청소년의 위험행동 예방을 위한 역량모델 개발 (Development of the Competency Model for Prevention of Adolescent Risk Behavior)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify fundamental data on competency reinforcement programs to prevent adolescent risk behavior by developing and examining a competency model. Methods: In this study, competences on prevention of adolescent risk behavior were identified through competency modeling, and a competency model was developed and tested for validity. Results: Competences for prevention of adolescent risk behavior defined by the competency model included the following: self-control, positive mutual understanding between parents and adolescents, and positive connectedness with peer group. Validation of the competency model showed the model to be appropriate. Conclusion: The competency model for prevention of adolescent risk behavior through competency modeling is expected to be the foundation of an integral approach to enhance competency in adolescents and prevent adolescent risk behavior. This kind of approach can be a school-centered, cost-efficient strategy, which not only reduces adolescent risk behavior but also improves quality of adolescent resources.

웹 2.0 방식의 직무역량모델링 방법 개발 (Developing a Web 2.0 based Job Competency Modeling Method)

  • 현재 상당수 기업에서 인력육성 및 관리 분야에 활용하는 직무역량모델은 현장 업무를 반영하지 못하거나 개발된 직무역량 모델이 실제 활용에 구체적이지 못해 업무 활용도가 떨어지는 상황이다. 한국 기업의 직무역량모델 개발 현황과 이를 기반으로 한 교육체계 개발 현황을 조사한 결과, 종업원 400인 이상 기업의 43.5% 정도가 직무역량모델을 개발했으며, 직무역량모델을 개발한 기업 중 31.7%는 만들어진 역량이 상세하지 못해 직무역량을 기반으로한 교육체계를 개발하지 못하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구는 문제 해결을 위해 '웹 2.0방식의 직무역량모델링 방법'을 소개하고 이러한 방법으로 개발한 직무역량모델과 대부분 기업의 직무역량을 개발하는 방식인 전문가 중심의 개발된 직무역량모델을 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 웹 2.0 방식의 개발한 직무역량모델에 대해 역량명의 정확성, 수용성 그리고 역량기술서의 유용성이 뛰어난 것으로 나타났으며, 기업의 환경에 맞는 구체적인 역량이 도출된 것으로 조사되었다.

패션디자이너 역량모델링 구축 (Fashion Designer Competency Modeling)

  • This study started with the need for transition to competency-based education as well as the witness of fast changes in fashion industry's job environment. The goals of this study were (1) to explore fashion designers' competencies that are necessary for a successful careers in global fashion industry, and (2) to establish fashion designer competency model. In-depth individual interviews were conducted with 15 participants who have charged for design department and moreover have shown high performance in national, licence or designer brands in Korea fashion industry. Grounded theory was adopted to analyze data. As a result of analysis, the 4 core competencies emerged: problem-solving, research, inter-personal, and self-development. Each core competency has sub-competencies. Creativity, commerciality, control, decision making were sub-competencies for the problem-solving competency. Information management, innovation understanding & application, trend analysis & forecasting were sub-competencies for the research competency. Consumer, inside company, and outside company relationships were sub-competencies for the inter-personal competency. Self-awareness, self-management, expertise were sub-competencies for the self-development competency. In order to acquire these competencies, knowledge (academic, practical, multi-discipline), skills (sense, analysis, synthesis, communication), and attitude (interest, enjoyment, perseverance, personality) were essential. Based on these findings, implications for university fashion design education and further research areas were suggested.

Investigating Students' Profiles of Mathematical Modeling: A Latent Profile Analysis in PISA 2012

  • We investigated the classification of learner groups for students' mathematical modeling competency and analyzed the characteristics in each profile group for each country and variable using PISA 2012 data from six countries. With a perspective on measuring sub-competency, we applied the latent profile analysis method to student achievement for mathematical modeling variables - Formulate, Employ, Interpret. The findings showed the presence of 4-6 profile groups, with the variables exhibiting high and low achievement within each profile group varying by country, and a hierarchical structure was observed in the profile group distribution in all countries, interestingly, the Formulate variable showed the largest difference between high-achieving and low-achieving profile groups. These results have significant implications. Comparison by country, variable, and profile group can provide valuable insights into understanding the various characteristics of students' mathematical modeling competency. The Formulate variable could serve as the most suitable predictor of a student's profile group and the score range of other variables. We suggest further studies to gain more detailed insights into mathematical modeling competency with different cultural contexts.

청소년의 중독예방을 위한 중독예방 핵심역량모형 구축 (Construction of the Addiction Prevention Core Competency Model for Preventing Addictive Behavior in Adolescents)

  • Purpose: This study was done to provide fundamental data for the development of competency reinforcement programs to prevent addictive behavior in adolescents through the construction and examination of an addiction prevention core competency model. Methods: In this study core competencies for preventing addictive behavior in adolescents through competency modeling were identified, and the addiction prevention core competency model was developed. It was validated methodologically. Results: Competencies for preventing addictive behavior in adolescents as defined by the addiction prevention core competency model are as follows: positive self-worth, self-control skill, time management skill, reality perception skill, risk coping skill, and positive communication with parents and with peers or social group. After construction, concurrent cross validation of the addiction prevention core competency model showed that this model was appropriate. Conclusion: The study results indicate that the addiction prevention core competency model for the prevention of addictive behavior in adolescents through competency modeling can be used as a foundation for an integral approach to enhance adolescent is used as an adjective and prevent addictive behavior. This approach can be a school-centered, cost-efficient strategy which not only reduces addictive behavior in adolescents, but also improves the quality of their resources.

인테리어 리모델링 사업에서 영업사원의 핵심역량 모델 개발 - LG하우시스를 중심으로 - (Developing a Competence Model for Salespeople in Interior Remodeling Business - Focus on LG HAUSYS -)

  • Recently, competition in the interior remodeling business is fierce. However, the interior remodeling business is basically B2B, and in this business, sales are basically dictated by the capabilities of salespeople. Therefore, in this study, we intend to develop a model for the core competency of salespeople in the interior remodeling business. To this end, based on the research on the existing competency and competency modeling, the competency model of the salesperson was derived using Dubois' overlay method. A total of 12 core competencies could be defined through the first and second modeling. The subject of this study was focused on LG Hausys, the most representative interior remodeling company in Korea. Based on the core competencies developed in this way, overall sales competencies can be raised through the development of a training course to enhance the sales competencies of salespeople, and a more efficient and objective HR.

직업능력개발훈련교사의 역량기반 교육훈련프로그램 개발 (Development of Competency-Based Entrepreneurship Education Model of Vocational Training Teacher)

  • 본 연구는 직업능력개발훈련교사의 성과와 관련된 역량을 교육, 개발하여 조직의 목표와 가치에 부합하는 역량을 습득할 수 있도록 훈련교사를 대상으로 역량기반 교육훈련프로그램의 개발과정을 분석, 제시하였다. 직업훈련교사의 역량 및 교육훈련에 관한 문헌연구를 토대로 훈련교사를 대상으로 한 직무분석과 행동사건면접 및 역량사전을 활용하여 역량모델을 도출하고, 타당성 분석을 거친 후 역량요구분석, 역량별 교육프로그램체계, 역량프로파일과 역량별 훈련모듈을 개발, 제시하였다. 마지막으로 훈련교사의 체계적인 역량개발을 위해 필요한 역량기반교육훈련프로그램의 운영 및 관리방안을 제시하였다.

역량기반 간호교육과정을 위한 핵심역량 모델링 (Modeling Core Competencies in the Competency-based Nursing Curriculum)

  • 본 논문은 간호사의 역량을 규명하고, 전체 간호업무의 80%를 통제할 수 있는 20%의 핵심간호역량을 도출하여 이를 기반으로 하는 간호교육과정 개발을 위한 간호역량을 모델링하기 위해 시도되었다. 각종 역량 관련 문헌고찰을 통하여 역량기반 교육과정, 역량 및 간호역량의 개념을 확인하고, 간호역량의 개념에 부합하는 각종 간호역량을 열거 및 유목화 하여 이들 간의 관계를 규명하였다. 또한 각종 역량 모델링의 방법을 검토하여 이를 토대로 역량기반 간호교육과정에 고유한 핵심역량 모델의 예시적 개념 지도를 제시하였다. 역량기반 간호교육과정을 위한 핵심역량은 기저역량, 실무역량, 인성역량으로 대별되고 기저역량은 전공(이론+실기)과 간호술로 역량의 기본이 된다. 실무역량은 임상적 판단, 대상자 교육, 의사소통, 환자 안전, 질 향상, 병동 및 자원 관리 등으로 구성되며 인성역량은 리더십, 책임 인식, 협력, 정책변화 대응 등으로 이루어진다. 이들은 자기주도적 학습과 비판적 사고 능력을 통하여 지속적인 순환 관계를 유지한다. 결국 이러한 역량을 가진 간호사는 지식근로자로써 자기주도적 학습자이며 전문적이고 효율적인 의사소통가이다. 간호역량을 확정시키는 후속연구가 계속되어야 하며 실제 역량기반교육과정에 적용하여 성과를 측정하고 이를 다시 반영하는 과정이 지속적으로 이루어져야 함을 제언한다.
