The rises of the life index quality together with the medical technology improvement lead to a longer life expectancy. Then a better health care program, especially for elderly, is needed. The common health problems facing those senior citizens are changed from acute diseases to chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension. Then u-Health takes center stage in medical industry. Although u- Health medical device manufacturers have been improving their instruments, these instruments still rely on proprietary technologies without fixed platform. Even if the interface has been provided by the manufacturer, there is no widely-accepted uniform data model to access data of various u-Health devices. IEEE 11073 is a standard attempting to unify the interfaces of all medical devices. In this paper we have proposed a conversion software platform that assures interoperability among medical devices for ubiquitous sensor network. This module uses in order to develop a standard platform of medical system.

This paper presents a novel method to design and implement mobile u-health system by defining the essential elements of mobile healthcare services. We choose common service elements for the proposed u-healthcare scheme and design the service platform. Especially we focus on automatic feces or urine sensing u-care scheme to prove the effectiveness of our platform. We construct the system with sensing part with a manikin and a diaper wireless communication part with feces or urine sensing data, and coordinator system based on the u-health platform defined in this paper. Experimental results show that our scheme is useful in the area of u-care service for the handicapped, the elderly, and patients who can hardly move by themselves. In addition the designed scheme offers a realized u-care scheme with the purpose of advanced developing tools for application or service developers.

Many dentists and patients expect that implant function and esthetics will not change over time. However, even the most successful implant restorations with ideal position, vertical height, and occlusion can be aesthetically pleasing, but may hide a common problem. Many dentists noticed that there can be some circumferential bone loss around the neck of the implants. To circumvent this bone loss, a "platform switching" concept was introduced recently. The basic concept of platform switching is by moving the fixture-abutment interface further away from the crestal bone to minimize crestal bone loss. Since crestal bone loss is a multifactor problem, it is important to consider microgap formation and micromotion between the implant and abutment because platform switching does not solve the problem on its own. In this article, we reviewed studies concerning platform switching and discussed the clinical application and the problems that may occur with its use.

South Korea is at an important juncture in its history to decide whether to continue its investment to become a first-mover of artificial intelligence (A.I.) platform technology or stay as a fast follower. This paper compares South Korea's A.I. platform capacity to that of the United States, China and the European Union by reviewing publicly opened documents and reports on AI platform strategies and policies using the three elements of the national innovation capacity: common innovation infrastructure, cluster-specific conditions, and quality of linkages. This paper found three major areas the South Korean government can focus on in the A.I. platform industry. First, South Korea needs to increase its investment in the A.I. field and expand its public-private collaboration activities. Second, unlike the U.S. and the U.K., South Korea lacks data protection policies. Third, South Korea needs to build a high-performance system and environment to experiment with artificial intelligence technology and big data.

인공지능 기술을 도입한 의료분야에서 진단 및 예측과 연계한 임상의사결정지원 시스템(CDSS)에 관련된 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 특히, 인공지능 기술 적용에 가장 많은 이슈를 일으키고 있는 의료영상기반의 질환진단연구가 다양한 제품으로 출시되고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 의료영상 데이터는 일관되지 않은 데이터들로 이루어져 있으며, 그것을 정제하여 연구에 사용하기 위해서는 상당한 시간이 필요한 것이 현실이다. 본 논문은 의료영상 표준인 R_CDM(Radiology Common Data Model)으로 변환하고, 그 데이터를 기반으로 인공지능 알고리즘 개발 연구를 지원하기위한 원스톱 인공지능학습 플랫폼에 대하여 기술한다. 이를 위해 기존 공통데이터모델(CDM : Common Data Model)과 연계에 중점을 두어 DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) 태그정보를 기반으로 의료영상 표준 모델의 스키마와 다기관 연구를 위한 Report 정보를 포함하여 시스템을 모델링하였다. 이렇게 변환된 데이터 집합을 기반으로 인공지능 학습 플랫폼에서 수행 과정을 결과로 보인다. 제안한 플랫폼을 통해 다양한 영상기반 인공지능 연구에 활용될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

This paper designed modular agricultural robotic platform capable of a variety of agricultural tasks to address the problems caused by a decline in agricultural populations and an increase in average age. We propose a modular robotic platform that can perform many tasks required in field farming by replacing only work modules with common robotic platforms. This platform is capable of steering while driving on four wheels in an upland environment where farm work is performed, and an attitude control module is attached to each drive module to control the attitude of the platform. In addition, the width of the platform is designed to be variable in order to operate in various ridges according to the crop cultivation method. Finally, we evaluated five items: variable width, gradient, attitude control angle, step and road speed in order to carry out the farming industry while maintaining a stable posture.

u-City 운영의 중심 역할을 담당하는 통합운영플랫폼은 유무선 통신망, 센서망을 연결하여 각종 센서 및 장치들을 수용하고, 다양한 정보를 통합적으로 수집 및 분석하며, 각종 인프라 요소들을 지능적으로 관제 운영한다. 본 연구에서는 u-City에서 통합운영플랫폼이 제공해야 할 서비스들을 공통응용 서비스, 운용관리 서비스 및 플랫폼 게이트웨이 서비스로 구분하고 각 서비스에 대한 세부 기능을 구성하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 구성된 세부 기능들은 상호간 정보 흐름 및 역할 정립을 통해 통합운영플랫폼의 서비스 기능을 명확히 할 것이며, 향후 서비스 기능 추가 및 수정에 따른 통합운영플랫폼의 기능 구성 참조 모델로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the characteristics of the fashion narrative from the commercial and artistic viewpoints by identifying and evaluating the attributes of the fashion narrative and analyzing the fashion narrative focusing on various cases according to fashion media. Louis Vuitton, a brand of the Louis Vuitton $Mo{\ddot{e}}t$ Hennessy (LVMH) group that operates the entire fashion community platform, is recognized as an influential luxury company with enormous capital and capabilities. This study targeted Louis Vuitton to examine the fashion narrative. The common results of Louis Vuitton's fashion narrative according to the communication platform are as follows. First, it emphasizes well-designed craftsmanship and artistry to convey the value and meaning of the brand. Second, it expresses the lifestyle of the bourgeoisie using traveling for finding life purpose, nature, and freedom as common denominators. Louis Vuitton connects, shares, and engages with customers by crossing the communication platform and trying multi-sensory changes based on the fashion narrative of the 'artification' message encompassing craftsmanship, innovation, and travel. The fashion narrative of Louis Vuitton applies tools (e.g., design, direction, stage, and props) differently according to the nature of media. In other words, the fashion narrative in the form of transmedia storytelling is a marketing communication strategy that indicates the representation means and direction of a brand's goals by remediating the brand narrative in various ways through the communication platform.

의료 정보 시스템은 많은 지식과 의료 인력과의 연계가 필요하기 때문에, 멀티 에이전트 시스템의 활용 영역으로 적합하다. 본 논문에서는 지능형 의료 정보 제공을 위한 멀티 에이전트 플랫폼의 설계 및 구현에 대해 기술한다. 멀티 에이전트 시스템을 이용하여 지능형 의료 영상 정보를 제공하기 위해 FIPA(Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agent)가 제안하는 에이전트 플랫폼 모델을 따르고 있다. 윈도우 기반에서 컴포넌트 활용을 위해 COM(Common Object Model)과 XML(Extensible Markup Language)로 인코딩된 ACL(Agent Communication Language)을 메시지 교환에 이용하고 있다. 치료 영역의 특성상 의료 전문 인력과의 연계가 아주 중요한 요소이기 때문에, 의료 인력을 하나의 휴먼 에이전트로 개념화하여 시스템에 연결하고, 소프트웨어 에이전트와 휴먼 에이전트들이 지식을 공유하기에 적합한 물리적 기반을 제공하여 지능형 의료 정보 서비스를 용이하게 한다.

This paper describes a digital convergence platform(DCP) which is implemented based on the MPEG-21 multimedia framework. DCP is a newly proposed solution in this research for the convergence service of future home multimedia environment. DCP is a common platform designed to have the feature of reconfigurability, by means of S/W. which supports to run diverse digital multimedia services. A distributed peer to peer service and transaction model is also a new feature realized in DCP using the MPEG-21 multimedia framework. A prototype DCP is implemented to verify its functions of multimedia service and transactions. The developed DCPs are networked with IP clustering storage systems for the distributed service of multimedia. Successful streaming services of the MPEG-2/4 video and audio are verified with the implemented test-bed system of DCP.
