언택트(Untact) 디지털 전환(DT) 시대의 대학수학교육 사례 (A Case Study on College Mathematics Education in Untact DT Era)

  • 2019년 12월 중국 우한(武漢)으로부터 발생한 신종 코로나바이러스(COVID-19)는 전 세계적으로 급속하게 퍼지며 대학수학교육 환경을 대면 방식에서 비대면(Untact, 비접촉) 방식으로 전환시키고 있다. 이로 인해 대부분의 수학 연구자와 교수자들은 2020년 봄부터 인터넷을 활용한 온라인 화상 회의와 온라인 교육 등 새로운 방식을 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 과정에서 발생한 난점과 이를 극복한 방법들을 소개하고, 비대면 환경에서 교육의 질을 보장하는 대학수학교육의 다양한 사례를 통하여 체득한 노하우(Know-How)를 공유하고자 한다. 이를 통하여 코로나 이후(After Corona, AC) 시대의 대학수학교육과 연구 환경의 변화 가능성에 대하여 논한다. 특히 갑작스런 전면 비대면 방식의 온라인 교육을 진행하면서 교육의 질을 보장하기 위하여 취한 다양한 테크놀로지 활용 및 학생과의 소통에 대하여 언급한다. 마지막으로 비대면 교육환경의 교수·학습에서 당면한 문제에 대한 해결책과 특히 학생의 학습 활동과 학습과정에 기반한 평가의 구체적인 안을 제시하고 언택트 교육의 사각지대에 대하여 논한다.

교양수학 교과목 공동관리 운영의 효율성에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Efficiency of a Joint Managed College Mathematics Curriculum)

  • Due to the expansion of rolling admissions and diversification of college admissions, the widening gap between the level of scholastic ability and academic performance is the reality of college education. Thus, based on the incoming class of College A, this study analyzes the correlation between incoming students who enrolled in a college mathematics course during their first semester. Through this analysis, this study searches for a way to efficiently instruct students from various learning backgrounds when enrolled in the same course. Also, this study searches for a solution to lower the deviation of college mathematics' academic performance among engineering majors by examining the efficiency of a joint managed college mathematics curriculum.

분류의 관점에서 초등수학 평면도형 고찰 (A Study on the Plane Figure of Elementary School Mathematics in the View of Classification)

  • In this article, we investigated plane figures introduced in elementary school mathematics in the perspective of traditional classification, and also analyzed plane figures focused on the invariance of plane figures out of traditional classification. In the view of traditional classification, how to treat trapezoids was a key argument. In the current mathematics curriculum of the elementary school mathematics, the concept of sliding, flipping, and turning are introduced as part of development activities of spatial sense, but it is rare to apply them directly to figures. For example, how are squares and rectangles different in terms of symmetry? One of the main purposes of geometry learning is the classification of figures. Thus, the activity of classifying plane figures from a symmetrical point of view has sufficiently educational significance from Klein's point of view.

The Function of Creativity in the Solutions of Irregular Sequence Problems among Elementary School Mathematics Teachers and Teacher-Trainees in other Disciplines

  • The article aims to present findings of a study which has examined the ability of elementary school mathematics teachers and of teacher-trainees in other disciplines to solve irregular challenging problems of sequences in general rather than numerical sequences only. The findings show that mathematics teachers succeed to cope with unusual assignments when the requirements of the problems presented to them are analogous to irregular problems. However, when the problems require a change in the thinking procedure in the direction of creative thinking, there is a considerable decrease in performance. Another finding shows that, although teacher-trainees succeed less in solving the presented problems, they give incorrect solutions which do indicate creative thinking. An inevitable conclusion based on the research findings is that teacher training institutions should enhance and reinforce multi-directional. branching out and creative thinking competences.

  • The purpose of this work is to explain the necessity and operation method of college mathematics clinic, investigating the reason why college students like and dislike mathematics. It is difficult for each professor alone to operate college mathematics clinic without students\` helping. They need to work together. For mathematics clinic operation, the following will be practiced: 1) make use of math-class, 2) help of math-club, 3) make internet homepage, 4) use of university institution and laboratory.

  • In this paper, we introduce and study a new system of nonlinear variational inequalities. The existence and uniqueness of solution for this problem are proved and an iterative algorithm for approximating the solution of system of nonlinear variational inequalities is constructed.
