진로장벽탐색 집단상담이 여대생의 진로장벽 인식과 진로준비행동에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of 「The Career Barriers Exploration Counseling Program」 on the Perceived Career Barriers and the Career Preparation Behavior of Women's College Students)

  • 본 연구는 여대생들을 대상으로 진로장벽탐색 집단 상담을 실시하여 여대생들의 진로장벽인식을 완화하고 진로준비행동을 높이기 위해 진로장벽 집단상담의 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 사용된 프로그램은 국내에서 연구된 진로상담 프로그램들을 참고하고, 한국 여성개발원 및 직업능력 개발원의 진로자료를 참고하여 개발되었다. 또한 진로장벽과 진로준비행동의 관련 변인들을 연구한 선행연구 및 진로상담 관련 문헌들을 참고하였는데, 무엇보다 Gottfredson(1981)의 진로발달이론을 참고하여 프로그램의 내용을 재구성하였다. 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 실험집단과 통제집단 각각 여대생 10명을 대상으로 사전검사를 실시하였으며 프로그램 종료 직후 사후검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 자료를 분석하기 위하여 실험집단과 통제집단의 사후 검사 점수에 대한 차이를 확인하는 공분산 분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 연구결과 실험 집단은 통제집단에 비해 진로장벽 인식 전체에서 사후 검사 점수가 현저히 낮은 것을 볼 수 있었고, 진로준비행동은 통제집단에 비해 실험 집단이 사후 검사 점수가 현저히 높은 것을 볼 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 실시된 진로장벽탐색 집단상담은 여대생의 진로장벽수준을 완화하고, 진로준비행동 수준은 높이는데 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

치기공과 재학생의 진로계획에 관한 실태 조사 - D대학 학생을 중심으로 - (The research on the Career Plan of the Dental Technology Students (Revolve Around D College Students))

  • Purpose: The career education of the college student needs a new awareness. This research provides fundamental data from analyzing necessities of student's career education according to plans of a career education. Methods: Make use of SAS 8.0 of windows and descriptive statistics analysis on investigate Dental Technology 570 students in Daegu. And also it analyzes difference of ispectable t-test and ANOVA. Results: According to a gender, a job experience, where they are come from, there is a meaningful difference of an information and an entrance motive for choosing a major (<.05). The time of choosing the major are different meaningfully (<.001). An awareness about the method of a career achievement is a meaningful difference between men and women(<.05). As getting old, the method of a career achievement is higher and there are meaningful differences according to a grade, job experience and a entrance screening(<.01). In accordance with a gender, a grade, entrance screening, there are meaningful differences of a degree for obtaining the career information activities(<.01). In accordance with an age, when they choose a major, there is a difference(<.001). In accordance with a gender and a age, there are meaningful differences of a career plan(<.001). The age difference is slight. In accordance with a gender and a age, there are meaningful differences how to effort for the career(<.001), and also according to an entrance screening, an entrance motive(<.05). These mean that the first priority for choosing the career and going into the world is a school record. There are meaningful differences of people that the student choose for consulting the career(<.01). According to the job experience there are meaningful differences(<.001). Conclusion: By investigating and analysing the student's career plan, we need to seek how students choose their career reasonably and desirably. And also we need to teach a career education systematically.

보건행정학과 대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감, 사회적지지, 직업교육경험과 진로태도성숙의 관계 (The Relationship between Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy, Social Support, Career Education Experience, Career Attitude Maturity for College students with Major in Health Administration)

  • Objectives : This study was undertaken to investigate the relationship between career decision-making self-efficacy, social support, career education experience, career attitude maturity for college students with major in health administration. Methods : The subjects were 395 students with major in health administration from 2 universities and 2 colleges located in Incheon city, Gyeonggi province, and Chungcheognam province. Data were collected from June 2 to 20, 2008 using structured questionnaires. Results : For the difference by characteristics of the respondents, the score of career attitude maturity were significantly different according to age(F=3.415), high school style(F=2.661), subject economic status(F=3.627), subject satisfaction of school life(F=7.964), subject health status(F=6.507). For the correlation of major variable, Career attitude maturity was positively correlated with career decision-making self-efficacy, social support from friends, social support from family, social support from professor, career education experience. In a regression analysis, career decision-making self-efficacy($\beta$=.378), social support from friends($\beta$=.198), age($\beta$=.124), grade($\beta$=-.161) significant predictors to explain career attitude maturity(32%). Conclusions : It is necessary to activates the social network from friends and to develop an effective program to improve career attitude maturity of students with major in health administration considering these findings.

예비보육교사의 핵심역량이 진로스트레스에 미치는 영향에 대한 진로포부의 매개효과 (The Effect of Preservice Child Care and Education Teacher's Competency on Career Stress : Career Aspiration as a Mediator)

  • 본 연구는 경기도에 소재한 대학의 보육학과 학생들을 대상으로 핵심역량과 진로스트레스 그리고 진로포부간의 영향을 연구하였다. 구체적인 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 핵심역량과 진로포부 그리고 진로스트레스의 상관관계는 핵심역량이 높을수록 진로포부는 높아지고 진로스트레스는 낮아졌다. 둘째, 핵심역량과 진로포부가 진로스트레스에 미치는 영향을 중다회귀분석으로 살펴본 결과 핵심역량의 하위요인인 자질과 태도 및 능력역할과 진로포부는 진로스트레스에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 핵심역량이 진로스트레스에 미치는 영향에 대한 진로포부의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과는 핵심역량이 진로스트레스에 직접적인 효과는 유의하지 않았으나 진로포부를 매개로한 간접효과는 유의하게 나타났다. 핵심역량은 진로포부를 매개로 하여 진로스트레스에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 논의 부분에서는 연구에 대한 논의 및 제한 그리고 추후연구방향을 제시하였다.

Career Exploration for Customized Career Curriculum Design

  • This study aims to assess the current status of career education at C University and to gather foundational data for developing a step-by-step career education curriculum and an integrated roadmap for curriculum and extracurricular career education. This research involves a comparative analysis of C University's enrolled students and external university students through a survey using the [University Career Exploration Model]. Data collection took place over one month in October 2023, and statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS Statistics 25.0 program. The survey results enabled a comparative analysis of the career exploration processes and levels between enrolled students at C University and external university students. The proportion of enrolled students at C University responding positively to the career exploration process and level was high. Through this study, a better understanding of the career exploration processes and levels of university students was achieved. It is deemed necessary to conduct systematic research for continuous, tailored integration of curriculum and extracurricular career education at the university level.

Young Men's Choice of Fashion as a Career Path: "Seekers" and "Settlers"

  • This study explored men's choice of fashion as a college major and, subsequently, a non-traditional career path. Such investigation is important to gain a better understanding of the motives and processes of selecting a non-traditional college major and subsequent career path. This research consulted several theoretical frameworks to guide the development of research questions and help interpret the findings of the study. Specifically, our study builds upon Holland's trait theory (1982), Gottfredson's (1981) circumscription theory, Farmer's (1985) model of career motivation, and Simpson's (2005) typology of men's non-traditional career entry. A qualitative method was used to explore men's experiences of selecting fashion as an academic major in college and deciding to pursue a career in the traditionally female-dominated field. Following the analysis of 22 individual interviews with male upperclassmen majoring in fashion, three topical areas emerged and we proposed a model of male students' path to a non-traditional college major. The model explains male students' dynamics of entering a non-traditional college major, the role of personal and social factors in the decision process as well as the role of future career orientation when choosing to study fashion as an academic major.

대학 졸업을 앞둔 학생선수의 진로준비과정을 위한 진로프로그램 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Career Program for Senior Student-Athletes in College)

  • 본 연구는 A 대학 4학년 학생선수들을 대상으로 3회기에 걸친 진로프로그램을 시행하고 그 효과성을 검증하였다. Super와 Ginsberg의 진로발달이론과 Holland의 직업선택이론을 기반으로 하여 진로프로그램을 구성하였으며 90분씩 3주에 걸쳐 진행됐다. 연구에 참여한 학생선수는 총 13명이며 운동 종목은 야구, 럭비, 하키, 피겨이다. 학생선수는 운동을 그만두었을 때 운동선수 이외의 다른 직업에 대한 준비가 쉽지 않다는 문제점에 기반하여 본 프로그램은 학생선수들이 졸업 후 가질 수 있는 직업들은 무엇인지 탐색할 수 있게 하고 그를 통해 진로 준비의 효능감을 높이는 것을 주목적으로 하였다. 프로그램을 통해 학생선수들의 자기 이해가 향상되었으며 진로 태도 성숙의 준비성이 향상되었다. 또한, 학생선수들의 진로결정 자기효능감이 프로그램 시행 전과 비교하여 유의미하게 향상되었다. 그러나 학생들의 진로 스트레스는 프로그램 전과 비교하여 유의미하게 줄어들지 않았다. 비교적 단기간의 진로프로그램이지만 학생선수들이 학령기 동안 경험하기 힘들었던 자신에 대한 이해와 직업정보에 대한 탐색은 그들의 진로준비에 효과적으로 도움이 된다는 것이 발견되었다. 마지막으로 학생선수들을 위한 진로프로그램의 개발과 시행의 필요성과 본 연구의 의의 및 한계점 등이 논의되었다.

간호대학생의 전공만족도, 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로정체감 관계 (Relations between Satisfaction in Major, Career Decision-making Self-efficacy and Career Identity of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between satisfaction in major, career decision-making self-efficacy and career identity of nursing students. Methods: Data were collected from 543 students by means of self reported questionnaires about satisfaction in major, career decision-making self-efficacy and career identity from November 26 to 30, 2012. Results: The average score of satisfaction in major, career decision-making self-efficacy and career identity of nursing students was 3.56 on a 5 point-scale, 3.28 on a 5 point-scale, and 2.65 on a 4 point-scale respectively. There were significant correlation between satisfaction in major, career decision-making self-efficacy and career identity of nursing students. Career identity could be explained 26.2% by satisfaction in major, career decision-making self-efficacy, admission motivation, and school grade. Conclusion: Career identity was correlated with satisfaction in major and career decision-making self-efficacy in nursing students. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an effective intervention program to improve nursing students's satisfaction in major, career decision-making self-efficacy and career identity.

인턴제도 폐지 논의 이후의 의학교육 변화 (Accelerating Change in Medical Education after the Dismantlement of the Intern Training System)

  • In light of changes in today's medical environment, whether to dismantle the 50-year-old internship training system in the Republic of Korea is under debate. Although the question remains open, discussions on such issues have drawn attention to the quality of the clinical clerkship and student career advisory programs in medical colleges. The purpose of this study is to analyze the experiential clerkship and career exploration issues. Ensuring excellence of the clerkship and career advisory sessions is an essential responsibility of educational institutions regardless of whether the intern training system is dismantled. Important objectives of the experimental clerkship include reinforcing prerequisites established by law, introducing a student practice license, developing a standardized clinical assessment and student portfolio requirement, and publishing a guidebook for clinical directors. For career exploration, it is necessary to broaden participants' experiences of specialties and to manage the variety of student career guidance programs. It is imperative for the Korean Association of Medical Colleges, in collaboration with medical colleges, to play a leading role in focusing more attention and effort on such issues.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate structural relationships among engineering self-efficacy, outcome expectation, interest, learning persistence, and career preparation behavior of engineering students. Participants (n=428) completed measures of engineering self-efficacy, outcome expectations, interests, learning persistence, and career preparation behavior. Results from structural equation modeling analysis were found to support the proposed model which included learning persistence and career preparation behavior, influence from engineering self-efficacy, outcome expectations, and interests. In addition, major persistence intention and career preparation behavior of engineering college students are influenced by the direct and indirect effects on engineering self-efficacy, interest, and outcome expectations. The implications of the findings on practice for Korean engineering college students are discussed.
