  • Objectives: To standardize treatment, improve quality of medical service, and reduce medical costs of patients with depression by developing a clinical pathway (CP) of Korean medicine. Methods: CP was developed based on clinical practice guideline (CPG) for depression. To consider the degree of economic burden and satisfaction, the current status of management for patients with depression was examined. After CP was primarily developed, contents of the CP were supplemented by referring to previously developed CPs. Results: Based on CPG, current status survey and previous CP, four types of CP (Korean medicine clinics, Korean medicine hospitals, Western-Korean medicine collaborative hospitals, public medical center) were developed and shown in the algorithm version. However, in the case of Korean medicine hospitals and Western-Korean medicine collaborative hospitals, CPs were detailed according to different clinical scenes of outpatients and inpatients. This study also shows six different time task matrix version. Conclusions: CP for depression is expected to not only reduce financial burden of patients and health insurance, but also increase the quality of treatment and satisfaction.

  • In this paper, a strategy of cooperation activities was conducted to analyze on the impact of what effect appears in teacher training. We classified with satisfaction, effectiveness and academic achievement as effects of teacher training. We were divided into three groups that are cooperative-reflection activity group using the SNS, self-reflection activity group and general training group. Depending on the type of reflection activity, we have one-way ANOVA analysis for the effectiveness of teacher training. By the results of the analysis, we found to have a positive impact that cooperative reflection activity group were more an academic achievement, satisfaction and effectiveness of training. Accordingly, we have found the SNS-based collaborative reflection activity is very effective in teacher training.

  • In this study, we develop that Location Recommending System using personal emotion information based on Collaborative Filtering. Previous Location Recommending System recommended a place visited by the user of the rating or the pattern of location for the user place. These systems are not high user satisfaction because that dose not consider the user status or have not objectively the information. Using user's personal emotion information to recommend a high-affinity users who have visited the place felt similar emotions objectively can improve user satisfaction with the place. In this study, a user using a mobile application directly register the recognized emotion information using the current position and bio-signal, and using the registered information measuring the similarity of user with a similarity emotion, predicts a preference for the place it is recommended to emotional place. The system consists of a user interface, a database, a recommendation module.

  • This study devotes to compare the accuracy of Top-N recommendations of items transacted on the web site for customers with the accuracy of rank conformity of the real ratings with estimated ratings for customers preference about items generated from two types of collaborative filtering algorithms. One is Neighborhood Based Collaborative Filtering Algorithm(NBCFA) and the other is Correspondence Mean Algorithm(CMA). The result of this study shows the accuracy of Top-N recommendations and the rank conformity of real ratings with estimated ratings generated by CMA are better than that of NBCFA. It would be expected that the customer's satisfaction in Recommender System is more improved by using the prediction result from CMA than NBCFA, and then Using CMA in collaborative filtering recommender system is more efficient than using NBCFA.

  • This study exploratively investigated the cultural disposition of undergraduates in LIS and their collaborative learning. To identify the cultural disposition, this study employed the Triandis' scale identifying four dimensions including horizontal individualism, vertical individualism, horizontal collectivism, vertical collectivism. Additionally, their collaborative learning was analyzed by self- and peer-evaluation surveys. The findings showed that 66.7% LIS students had the horizontal collectivism and their contribution to the collaboration was higher than other groups. Additionally, the gender difference indicated that female students actively participated in the collaboration and gave more contributions than male students. However, the female students had low satisfaction to the collaboration. These results can be used to improve LIS students' collaborative learning.

  • Aviation ICT technology is a convergence technology between aviation and electronics, and has a wide variety of applications, including navigation and education. Among them, in the field of aerial pilot training, there are many problems such as the possibility of accidents during training and the lack of coping skills for various situations. This raises the need for a simulated pilot training system similar to actual training. In this paper, pilot training data were collected in pilot training system using VR/AR to increase immersion in flight training, and Customized Pilot Training Platform with Collaborative Deep Learning in VR/AR Environment that can recommend effective training courses to pilots is proposed. To verify the accuracy of the recommendation, the performance of the proposed collaborative deep learning algorithm with the existing recommendation algorithm was evaluated, and the flight test score was measured based on the pilot's training data base, and the deviations of each result were compared. The proposed service platform can expect more reliable recommendation results than previous studies, and the user survey for verification showed high satisfaction.

  • This paper describes an attempt to integrate flip teaching into a language classroom by adopting wikispaces as an online learning platform. The purpose of this study is to examine student perceptions of the effectiveness of using video lectures and wikispaces to foster active participation and collaborative learning. Flipped learning was implemented in an English writing class over one semester. Participants were 27 low intermediate level Korean university students. Data collection methods included background questionnaires at the beginning of the semester, learning experience questionnaires at the end of the semester, and semi-structured interviews with 6 focal participants. Because of the significance of video lectures in flip teaching, oCam was used for making weekly online lectures as a way of pre-class activities. Every week, online lectures were posted on the school LMS system (moodle). Every week, participants met in a computer room to perform in-class activities. Both in-class activities and post-class activities were managed by wikispaces. The results indicate that the flipped classroom facilitated student learning in the writing class. More than 53% of the respondents felt that it was useful to develop writing skills in a flipped classroom. Particularly, students felt that the video lectures prior to the class helped them improve their grammar skills. However, with respect to their satisfaction with collaborative works, about 44% of the participants responded positively. Similarly, 44% of the participants felt that in-class group work helped them interact with the other group members. Considering these results, this paper concludes with pedagogical suggestions and implications for further research.

  • As the information age matures, the learning style of youth is changing rapidly. Students study at a variety of places such as cafe or lobbies utilizing various digital learning devices. Along with the place changes, learning methods are also changing. Student-centered learning methods such as smart learning, collaborative learning, and activity-based learning are increasingly being utilized instead of the traditional instructor-centered learning in which knowledge is unilaterally delivered. Accordingly, many universities are remodeling central libraries, and they are also transforming lobby spaces of the college buildings into simple but useful learning spaces. In this study, we analyze the characteristics of learning spaces in universities from the standpoint of the students. According to the analysis, overall satisfaction is high in terms of comfortable physical learning environments such as Wi-Fi, furniture, lighting, etc. But the spaces are still optimized for individual and intensive learning. There seems to be a lack of effort to support collaborative learning or activity-based learning. This observation is confirmed by the characteristics of the central library, and it is considered that the reason why the college buildings are preferred by students is that college buildings are more suitable for collaborative or activity-based learning than libraries.
