  • The effect of decorrelation on the coincidence is investigated with correlated photons produced by parametric down-conversion process. The degree of correlation between photon pairs is adjusted by changing the polarization dependent transmissivities of thin glass plate\ulcorner in front of two detectors. It was found that the single counts of each detectors are proportional to the transmissivity and the coincidence is proportional to the product of transmissivities of the glasses in front of two detectors.

  • The phase sensitivity of the coincidence detection in one output port of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer is analysed for twin Fock state inputs. Firstly, the ideal detectors with quantum efficiency of unity are assumed for the detection of the output photons. The sensitivity is found out to be independent of the photon number of input light, which means that the Heisenberg limit cannot be reached in the coincidence detection even with ideal detectors. Secondly, the practical detectors with quantum efficiencies less than unity are discussed.

  • Coincidence summing correction effects are known to be greater as the efficiency of the detector increases and as the distance between the source and the detector increases. A point source($^{60}Co$) was used to vary the distance in the direction of the detector's center axis and in the radial direction to obtain the P/T ratio for Coincidence summing correction calibration. In this study, values for coincidence summing corrected calibration of the values in the central and radial directions were applied to the mixed volume source(450 ml CRM source) to compare the overall peak efficiency change according to P/T with Geant4. In addition, the efficiency obtained from the mapping method is applied to the seaweed, a marine sample, and the compatibility of the P/T ratio with the detector and sample very dose together. The efficiency corrected to 1,836 keV was applied to the energy zone affected by the efficiency of 500 keV and the relative error of the measured and corrected values was well matcched by the 3.2 % peak efficiency correction. As with 450 mL CRM source, the larger the volume, the lower the P/T ratio was by ${\pm}5%$. This is due to the increased scattering of gamma-rays emitted as the source becomes farther away from the detector, and this change in P/T has been confirmed to affect the Coincidence summing corrected peak efficiency.

  • In this paper, we consider the Duffing type p-Laplacian equation with multiple deviating arguments of the form $$({\varphi}_p(x^{\prime}(t)))^{\prime}+Cx^{\prime}(t)+go(t,x(t))+\sum_{k=1}^ngk(t,x(t-{\tau}_k(t)))=e(t)$$. By using the coincidence degree theory, we establish new results on the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions for the above equation. Moreover, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our results.

  • In this paper, a nonautonomous predator-prey dispersion delay models with functional response is studied. By using the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, the existence of a positive periodic solution for above models is established.

  • In this paper, we use two mappings satisfying certain expansive conditions to construct convergent sequences in complex valued metric spaces, and then we prove that the limits of the convergent sequences are the points of coincidence or common fixed points for the two mappings. The main theorems in this paper are the generalizations and improvements of the corresponding results in real metric spaces, cone metric spaces and topological vector space-valued cone metric spaces.

  • With the help of the coincidence degree and the related continuation theorem, we explore the existence of at least two periodic solutions of a discrete time non-autonomous ratio-dependent predator-prey system with control. Some easily verifiable sufficient criteria are established for the existence of at least two positive periodic solutions.

  • Fixed point theorems for two hybrid pairs of single valued and multivalued noncompatible maps under strict contractive condition are proved, without appeal to continuity of any map involved therein and completeness of underlying space. These results extend, unify and improve the earlier comparable known results.

  • We establish a coincidence and a common fixed point result for four mappings involving a (${\psi}$, ${\varphi}$)-weak contractive condition type on a complete metric space. We take on ${\psi}$ and ${\varphi}$ the same conditions given by Popescu [Fixed points for (${\psi}$, ${\varphi}$)-weak contractions, Appl. Math. Lett. 24 (2011), 1-4].

  • In this paper, we give a Peleg type KKM theorem on G-convex spaces and using this, we obtain a coincidence theorem. First, these results are applied to a whole intersection property, a section property, and an analytic alternative for multimaps. Secondly, these are used to proved existence theorems of equilibrium points in qualitative games with preference correspondences and in n-person games with constraint and preference correspondences for non-paracompact wetting of commodity spaces.
