자동차 도장 공정의 셋업 감소 방법 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 분석 (Modeling and Simulation Analysis of the Setup Reduction Method in Automobile Painting Process)

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차 도장 공장의 가장 큰 낭비 요소인 상도 공정의 세정 비용의 절감 및 환경 보호를 목적으로 상도 공정 이전의 각 컨베이어 연결점에서의 운영 알고리즘 변경시의 셋업 감소 효과를 시뮬레이션 모델링을 통해 분석하였다. 또한 본 연구의 동기가 된 도장 공정에서의 세정 비용 최소화 프로젝트 및 도장 공장 현황에 대해 설명하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 컨베이어 연결점에서의 운영 알고리즘 개선시 현재 1.8대의 그룹화 효율을 2.5대 수준으로 향상시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 적용한 접근법을 사용할 경우 그룹화 효율 향상에 별도 설비 투자가 필요 없고, CRS(Color Rescheduling Storage) 설치와 병행 적용하여 그룹화 효율을 더욱 향상시킬 수 있는 이점을 가지고 있다.

한국 베이비붐 세대 여성의 체형 인지 및 관리와 디자인 선호도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Body-shape Perception, Management and Design Preference of Korean Baby-boom Generation Women)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the preference of design and body shape for korean baby-boom generation women. For this study, in-depth interviews were carried out to 11 women who were born in 1955~1963. They are called korean baby-boom generation. The results were as follows; 1) Korean baby-boom generation women care to their body shape, and they make much of the balance of body, not just looking slim. 2) Korean baby-boom generation women become more interested in their clothing, and they want to look with casual image than elegant image before. But overweight women preferred elegant image. 3) Korean baby-boom generation women prefer mix-match style for everyday clothes, but they prefer suit-set for formal wear. 4) When Korean baby-boom generation women choose of jacket or coat color, they consider more of their body-shape than season color. 5) Korean baby-boom generation women prefer plain style and jacquard with metal yarn. 6) Korean baby-boom generation women prefer out-door cloth fabric, at special time, they choose pure wool and pure silk. At ordinary time, they like more comfortable fabric like cotton mixed spandex or wool mixed spandex blends.

Application of the melanocortin 1 receptor (MC1R) gene for discrimination of Hanwoo from Holstein beef using real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR)

  • This study was carried out to discriminate Hanwoo from the milking and hybrid cattle by detection of MC1R gene related to bovine hair color. One hundred sixty six samples were collected from the abattoir (n = 106) and local market (n = 60). The beef from abattoir were originated from Hanwoo (n=27), Holstein (n=29), Hybrid (n=45) and imported cattle (n=5), respectively. The beef from market consisted of Hanwoo (n=36), Holstein (n=7) and imported ones (n=17). Commercialized screening kit (Kogenebiotec, Korea) was used for MC1R gene analysis. As a result, Hanwoo was discriminated from Holstein. However, 9 of 45 hybrid and 11 of 22 imported beef samples were indistinguishable from Hanwoo. It could be explained by second generation of crossing of Hanwoo with Holstein or the cattle with silver or yellow hair. This results suggest that additional tests as well as MC1R gene detection be needed to confirm Hanwoo beef among cattle beef.

16세기 탱화에 나타난 조선전기 복식연구 (Study on the Costume of Early Joseon Dynasty Appearing in 16th Century Taenghwa)

  • In the Taenghwa(Buddhist paintings), the clothing habits of the times can be observed since it depicts the lives of people from all walks of life. These 16th century Taenghwas were drawn based on the understanding of the ritual costumes of early Joseon dynasty appearing in works such as oryeui Se-jong-sil-lok; Sejong chronicles and Gyong-guk-Dae-jon. It shows the perception of various types of clothing such as the Myeon-Bok(King's Full Dress), Won-yu-gwan-bok(King's Ceremonial Dress), and Gon-ryong-po(royal robe at work), and describes the early King's Won-yu-gwan-bok in the early Joseon dynasty that equips Bang-sim-gok-ryong(Round Neck Band). Various officials' uniforms and various men's coats are described. From it, one can visually verify the records of Joong-jong-sil-lok; Joongjong chronicles that describes the appearances of various hats and coats. They also tell us that Chang-ot(light outer coat) was worn prior to the 17th century. It also shows us that the ritual costume of women in Koryo was passed down to early Joseon. Also, in regards to the Buddhist priest costumes, the jang-sam's gray color and ga-sa's red color has been passed down until today. The most representative characteristic for clothing materials were horsehair, silk, ramie, hemp, and cotton.

A Study on the Comparison of Costume at Lower and Middle Class in the Tudor Dynasty

  • This study intends to consider the characteristics of Tudorian costume and find out how the thoughts and cultures in those days had influences on the costume trends of low and middle class. In terms of the Tudorian costume which generated new cultural mainstreams along with blossomed civil culture, this study focuses on the characteristics and trends of costume at low and middle class, which have been little addressed in studies on western costume history or related fields, turning from the costume of upper class based on wealthy noblemen who showed off its dignity and authority along with jewelry and gorgeous ornamental craftsmanship. This study used related pictures, museum material and other literatures as its reference. It first looked into the general characteristics of western costume and considered the characteristics of costumes popularized in professionals at middle class such as apprentice, yeomen and low-class people. Professional or other middle class almost typically used to wear tunic, doublet, shirts, coat or long gown. Black was mainly used as clothes color. Similarly to upper class, silk or velvet was very often used as material. People at low class enjoyed wear costumes with simple and easy style for working. They also preferred natural color and cotton or wool as material. This study intended to find out which type of costumes people at low and middle class enjoyed wearing, rather than compare costume between such two classes.

콩의 색차와 종자크기에 따른 종실의 isoflavone 함량변이 (Effects of Color Differentiation and Seed Size of Soybean on Isoflavone Concentration in Soybean)

  • Isoflavone concentration(daidzein, glycitein, and genistein) of soybean(Taekwangkong and Sowonkong) were analyzed for studying the relationship between seed size and isoflavone concentration and seed coat color and isoflavone concentration. The isoflavone concentration was the greatest in daidzein then followed by genistein, however glycitein was the smallist of all. The isoflavone concentration was increased with the increasing of the ripening degree and seed size.

Tobacco mosaic virus Detected in Vegetatively Propagated Petunia Hybrids 'Surfinia'

  • Introduction of vegetatively propagated Petunia hybrids since 1992 led to increasing virus infections of propagation material. Petunia hybrid 'Surfinia' cultivated for pot-plant showed yellowing symptom along with stunt. Flowers were smaller in size and showed color-break symptom. Tobacco mosaic virus(TMV-pet) was isolated from the diseased petunia. Healthy petunia plants inoculated with TMV-pet induced mottle on leaves and color-break on flowers, and plants were stunted. Nucleotide sequences of coat protein gene amplified from RNA prepared from Nicotiana tabacum cv. Samsun infected with TMV-pet were determined(GenBank accession no. DQ981481). It showed 99.0% nucleotide sequence homology with TMV-potato3-2(GenBank accession no. AF318215) isolated from potato showing yellow mosaic and stunt symptom, and with a TMV Korean strain(GenBank accession no. X68110). This is the first reported observation of TMV from vegetatively propagated petunia in Korea.

Bilateral Congenital Deafness in a White Bull Terrier; Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response Findings

  • A 2-month-old, intact female white Bull Terrier presented because of suspected deafness. The coat color was predominantly white and the iris color, of both eyes, was brown. The dog did not respond to the owner's voice when the sound stimuli were presented outside of the visual field; however, the dog responded to visual gestures. The other physical, neurological, otoscopic, radiographic, and blood examinations were unremarkable. To assess the apparent deafness, brainstem auditory evoked responses (BAER) were recorded and analyzed in the dog with suspected deafness as well as a normal littermate. The response in the normal littermate consisted of a series of five wave peaks (I-V) with decreased amplitude and prolonged latency as the stimulus intensity decreased. The BAER from the dog suspected of deafness appeared as a flat line and did not reveal identifiable peaks that corresponded to those found in the normal littermate. Thus, congenital, sensorineural and bilateral deafness was confirmed by the BAER.

이미지 데이터와 HTML 색도표를 이용한 강낭콩(Phaseolus vulgaris L.)의 종피색 분포확인 및 그 응용방법 모색 (Seed Color Classification Method for Common Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) Using Imagery Data and an HTML Color Chart)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 수집한 200 자원의 강낭콩 유전자원의 종피 색깔을 분석하여 HTML색 도표에 위치시켜 강낭콩 종피색의 특징을 세분화하고, 종피 내 성분을 예측하는 한편, 종피색의 분류에 따른 응용 방법을 모색하는 것이다. 다양한 종피색을 나타내는 것으로 알려진 강낭콩 이미지 데이터를 HTML 색도표를 이용해 객관화시켰다. 이를 통해 강낭콩 유전자원의 종피색은 크게 연두색, 노란색, 갈색, 빨간색, 흰색, 회색, 그리고 남색 총 7개 색상에 분포한다는 것을 확인했다. 또한 종피색이 각 색상별 농도에 따른 분포를 보인다는 것도 확인할 수 있었다. 강낭콩 종피는 붉은색에서 농도별 분포가 가장 많았고, 회색과 연두색은 농도별로 분포를 보이지 않고 한가지 색에만 분포했다. 이와 같이 색깔별로 분포하는 것을 기준으로 하여 우점하고 있는 색소를 예측하자면, 연두색 강낭콩은 클로로필, 노란색 강낭콩은 카로티노이드, 갈색, 빨간색, 흰색, 회색 그리고 남색은 안토시아닌 색소가 종피 색깔에 영향을 많이 주고 있는 색소임을 예측할 수 있었다. 이렇게 색상을 객관적으로 나타내면, 종피색에 따른 체계적인 유전자원의 관리와 육종, 재배에 응용이 가능하며, 정밀한 색 분별을 통한 기호 분석을 통해 마케팅에 응용하거나 원하는 색의 제품 생산에 이용할 수 있다. 이러한 방법은 팥과 같은 다양한 종피색을 가진 타 작물에서도 적용될 수 있다.

유색콩 수집종의 주요 생태적 특성 (Ecological Characteristics of Color - Soybean Collections)

  • 경상북도 일원에서 수집한 유색콩 146계통을 공시하여 밥밑콩 유전자원의 이용성을 확대하고 유색콩 품종육성의 기초자료로 활용코자 주요 작물학적 특성을 조사하여 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 수집계통은 흑색, 흑색 아주까리형, 선비잡이형, 밤색, 갈색, 갈색 아주까리형, 녹색 등 종피의 형태에 따라7종으로 분류되었으며 이 중 흑색 및 녹색의 종피를 가진 계통이 가장 많았다. 계통별 화색은 자색과 백색으로 나타났으며 이 중 자색을 가진 계,통이 전체 수집종의 90%에 해당하는 132계통이었다. 종실의 종피를 제거한 후 자엽의 색깔은 녹색이 82계통, 황색이 64계통 이었다. 2. 종피형태 별 개화일수, 결실일수 및 생육일수를 조사한 결과 개화일수 및 결실일수의 경우 51∼81일 및 75∼103일의 변이폭을 나타내어 수집계통간 공히 변이폭이 컸던 반면 생육일수의 경우에는 흑색 아주까리계통(123일)을 제외한 모든 계통에서 150∼159일로 비교적 변이폭이 작았다. 3. 100립중의 경우 109이하의 계통으로부터 36g이상의 계통까지 다양하였으나 이들중 흑색종피를 가진 계통중에서도 자엽색이 녹색인 계통들이 황색 계통에 비해 100립중이 무거운 경향을 보였고, 특히 선비잡이형 종피계통의 경우에는 100립중이 36g이상 되는 극대립종이었다. 4. 수집종의 종실형태는 대체로 편타원형이었으며, 길이 : 폭 : 두께의 비율은 평균1 : 0.87 : 0.69였고, 100립중과 종실의 형태적 특성간의 상관관계는 길이, 폭, 두께 모두가 고도로 유의한 정의 상관을 나타내었다.
