The purpose of this study were to compare school uniforms made in major and minor companies. Especially, purchasing motives, fitting satisfaction, and mending behaviors of school uniform were compared by middle and high school students. The most evident difference was exhibited in purchasing motive. Brand preference was the most important criterion in purchasing motive from a major company, while good pricing was the most important criterion in purchasing motive from a minor company. Apart from purchasing motive, purchasing behaviors such as fitting satisfaction, mending and mended part of school uniforms were not significantly different in relation to sex, grade, and type of company. These results indicate that major companies should consider lowering their prices and also adopt a high quality strategy for school uniform production. Minor companies need to identify areas of differentiation between themselves and larger companies, and produce niche market products that are for appealing to teenagers with a tendency to orient towards brands instead of quality. Furthermore, mature teenagers as consumers of school uniforms are receptive towards competition for reasonable price.
Consumers attribute human personality to products or stores as well as brands. As brand personality is imprinted to a consumer's mind, in e-commerce, the concept of store personality needs to be examined by comprehending the e-brand personality. Unlike the recent studies that focus primarily on the portal site, we attempt to identify e-brand personality of online shopping malls that sell fashion products. This study also examined the impact of the parent company's attributes on e-brand personality. A survey was conducted to 240 females and 240 males in their 20s or 30s. E-brand personality of three different types of the Internet shopping mall was evaluated by 160 respondents, respectively. As a result, we found that Internet shoppers perceive that e-brands have four distinct personality dimensions: young, reliable, sophisticated, and creative. Among the four dimensions, "young" and "reliable" showed the most significant influence on intention to visit the shopping mall site. Besides, e-brand personality varied with parent companies' attributes such as reputation, credibility, and fashion industry-relatedness. Especially, credibility of the parent company showed a strong positive relationship with e-brand personality.
The purpose of this research was to provide basic information for enhancing sizing suitability in terms of the need for appropriate fit in head gear. The method for this research was to survey about sizing system of head gear, basic measure part, repair service. The subject of this study were 15 head gear companies. The results of this research were as follows : 1. In the sex target analysis according to company type, most of fashion brand companies were producing woman's head gear. In case of the company to produce man's head gear, sizes appeared variously. On the other hand, the sports brand companies were producing unisex head gear and safety helmet companies were producing man's one. 2. The number of size of head gear manufacturing companies were under 3 sizing system. This means that the sizing system of current head gear manufacturing company isn't various. 3. While the measuring part using currently in the company was head girth, one to be considered necessary for manufacturing of head gear except the head girth was head height.

This paper investigated the consumer's purchase behaviors on the home-shopping private brand apparel. Female consumers of age in the range of 20∼50 were asked to complete a questionnaire, who had experienced to search apparel on home shopping media or had purchased it from home shopping business. Through this empirical study, the importance of home-shopping private brand apparel is confirmed. And the model of home-shopping private brand purchase determination, consists of private brand purchase intention, brand evaluation and company patronage, is suggested focusing on two brand types and three different home shopping media. The data were analyzed by mean, multiple regression analysis, ANOVA, Duncan-test of SPSS Win(ver.10.0). The result generated from this study are as follows: First. there are significant differences in preferred private brand types according to the types of media they preferred to purchase. Consumers's sex and age are also important demographic variables in relation to purchase determination variables of home-shopping private brand apparel. Second, the home-shopping company patronage is directly influenced in consumer's purchase intention of home-shopping private brand apparel as well as the consumer's brand evaluation. Consequently, the company patronage is more related to purchase intention of home shopping private brand apparel.
This research is a case study for the planning process and production process of design project done through industry-university collaboration research. Proposed for the design process and result for the development of the corporation's promotional fashion items. In addition, during the 3-month study period, went through the research process of a number of design, planning, meetings, discussions, and colorway, sample production and selection. The study was carried out using mainly necktie and scarf, the ones one can make use of the best among men's and women's fashion items as fashion items for promotion. The design work was done using Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe Illustrator CS5, Texpro 11 version programs. This study is a design development case study where design research experts and the persons in charge from the company took part in for the PR the company demands, and wish it to be used as a basis material for improving company image as a fashion product for the PR of a company.

This study focuses on how to improve the use of the sustainable clothing through consignment clothing Stores. This study finds factors for activating consignment clothing stores that can help expand and implement the clothing consumption culture of Korean consumers towards sustainable clothing behavior. The objectives of this study are as follows. First, we identify consumer's sustainable apparel behavior through an in-depth interview with a manager who is currently working in a consignment-selling apparel company in Seoul. Second, we analyze factors for activating a consignment clothing store that help enable the implementation of concrete action plans into Korean culture and towards a sustainable clothing behavior. The study results on consignment clothing stores serve as service factors. First, it increases the participation of consumers in the mindset of secondhand apparel. Second, it secures the quality of used apparel products. Third, it can be seen by expanding the market channel. There is a need to rethink the specialty of apparel products in order to secure the quality of used apparel products and appraisal of experienced apprentices of commodity appraisers.
This study was aimed at reviewing the preceding studies regarding infants' physical characteristics and comparatively examining their apparel specifications among countries, and thereupon, surveying the sizes and specifications of each special infant apparel brand in korea, and thereby, providing for the basic data useful to consumers when they choose infants' apparel sizes and specifications, and at the same time to brand makers for effective exchange of information. Thus, domestic special infant's apparel brands were surveyed for their own sizes and specifications, and thereby, the basic data useful to consumers when they choose their infants' apparel sizes and specifications as well as to brand makers when they exchange information among themselves were produced. The results of this study can summarized as follows: As a result of surveying the general trend of the infant apparel brands in korea, it was found that 5 brands had been established before 1990's, and that the remaining 7 ones had emerged during 1990's. When viewed in terms of brands' originality, it was disclosed that 10 brands were korean originals, while 2 brands were foreign ones licensed. On the other hand, as a consequence of surveying the target age groups of each brand, it was found that the targe age groups differed much ranging from 0 to 72 months or more narrowly from 12 to 24 months, which means that the infant age has yet to be defined for all the brands. In the case of the domestic infant-clothing product respect of inner wear, 8 clothing companies are producing the the outside clothing. In the outside clothing, from 6 months to 36 months' infant is the object, and 6m, 12m, 18m, 24m, 30m, 36m appeared with the fact that it produces in 6 sizes. In the case of the f and the g company which has the difference of size control is big, the f company is producing infant clothing for the age 0 to 72 months in 6 size which the difference of the measurement between the size is a lot to be appear, on the other hand, the g company is producing infant clothing for the age 0 to 6 months in 6 size which the difference of the measurement between the size is small to be appear.

Interest in and use of social media as a communication channel are consistently evolving; in addition therefore, corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities have been often conducted on online channels such as social media due to the advantages offered by the rapid spread of information. Consumers can be persuaded differently and their cognition can be influenced depending on who delivers what message. This study examines the influence of information source characteristics on eWOM acceptance of CSR messages and attitudes toward a company. This study compares cases: when a company sends their CSR message versus when an individual (i.e., consumer's acquaintance) sends the company's CSR message. A total of 320 respondents were presented with online stimuli and responded to the questionnaire to identify this phenomenon. Vegan fashion (which refers to products made from raw materials without animal cruelty) was used as stimuli in this study because it is a representative example of CSR activities. As a result, when consumers are exposed to CSR messages online, perceived expertise, trustworthiness and attractiveness of information source affect consumer's electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) acceptance and attitude toward a company. However, only trustworthiness influences eWOM acceptance in cases of a corporation information source. This study confirms the differences in eWOM acceptance and in attitudes to the company depending on to whom the messages were sent and with what content.

Relationship marketing can be one of the most efficient strategies to enable a company to achieve business success in the recent marketing environment of tough competition and the diverse desires of consumers for new products. Using relationship marketing instead of mass marketing can help a company increase profits. For proper research in relationship marketing, it is indispensable to study relationship benefits. This study provides specific information in terms of relationship benefits to help develop the marketoriented strategy of a company. The results are as follow. The relationship benefit had a significantly positive effect on relationship quality (trust, satisfaction, and commitment). A relationship benefit was divided into three dimensions: customization benefit, informational benefit, and emotional benefit. Especially, emotional benefit appears as the most positive effect on satisfaction and the customization benefit appeared as the most positive effect on trust and commitment. The customization benefit and emotional benefit had a significantly positive effect on long-term relationship orientation, repurchase intention, and word of mouth. Informational benefit was not a significant influence on repurchase intention and word of mouth. Customization benefit appeared the most positive effect on long-term relationship orientation and word' of mouth. Emotional benefit appeared the most positive effect on repurchase intention. The relationship quality had a significantly positive effect on relationship performance. The findings of this study provide both industry and academic researchers with a guide to increase customer satisfaction in the relationship marketing process.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic materials for the brief patterns and design development for the elderly women to select number 1 to 3 brands according to their brand preference surveying the elderly women with average shapes, and to compare and analyze the exterior fit and functionality. Accordingly, this study proposed basic materials needed for panty pattern suitable for average shapes of the elderly women. The results of the study are as follows: 1 . Looking into the style, they preferred white the best. Regarding the patterns, almost half preferred patterns and rest of them did not. With the panty with patterns, they wanted small and implicit flower patterns. The design they liked was midi, maxi and then mini in order. When looking into the brands, they preferred 'Company B', 'Company SS', 'Company SY', and then market products. The reason why they selected those panty was feeling of fitness, price and then material. 2. To classify the figures of elderly women, we grouped the subjects with strata method using minimal dispersion method. Type 1 is the average, type 2 is for obese women and type 3 is slender women. 3. 3 brands were selected that were produced using CM 40's and elderly women preferred best. When executing wearing test on two elderly women who have average figure according to the body measures in previous study and body measure of Size Korea total exterior evaluation score was Company A, B and C in order.
