A DRM System for Streaming Services in Mobile Environment (모바일환경에서의 스트리밍 서비스를 위한 DRM 시스템에 대한 연구)

  • This study proposes a DRM system for VOD streaming services in a mobile environment. The proposed system consists of DRM client manager (Consumer), in which core components for client services are independently constructed to be used in a mobile environment, and DRM server, which provides DRM services. Consumer independently exists in the client to maximize efficiency and processing capacity in such a mobile environment, and consists of license service, content service, access service, and tracking service. DRM server consists of streaming server for VOD streaming, distributor, license server, and provider. The proposed system has an architecture suitable for a mobile environment that is difficult to process in the existing DRM system and can solves the super-distribution using license manager in client manager.

  • In this paper, I discuss the development techniques and implemented type of DAVIS, a standalone JAVA-based application, by which statistics application can be downloaded from a web server, stored and installed to a client. Also I discuss both the server-based application and the client-based application that analyze statistics data. Considering the strengths and weaknesses of types discussed previously, I propose an advanced learning system of statistics that can execute an application in a client by client request. And data used in this system are loaded from a database server or input into a client by users.

  • This paper deals with self-tuning of fuzzy control systems. The fuzzy logic controller(FLC) has parameters that an: input and output scaling factors to effect control output. Tuning method is proposed for the scaling factor. In this paper. it is studied to control and to monitor the remote system statues using SOAP for communicate between the server part and the client part. The remote control system is controlled by using a web browser or a application program. The server part is waiting for the request of client part that uses internet network for communication each other and then the request is reached. the server part saves client data to the database and send a command set to the client part and then the client part sends command to controller in a cool chamber. The administrator can control and monitor the remote system just using a web browser. The effects of membership functions, defuzzification methods and scaling factors are investigated in the FLC system.

  • In this paper we designed a secure client-server system to be able to protect messages between client and server using cryptography We authenticated each other using a asymmetric encryption algorithm on the logon procedure and minimized the time to encrypt and decrypt messages using a symmetric encryption algorithm on exchanging messages. We proved that it is possible to make a digital signature on our secure client-server system. And we suggested the efficient key management method to generate and distribute cryptograpic key securely.

  • Client-Sever-Comptuing is now recognized as the most powerful and flexible computing mode of the future.Many companies have already commited significant amount of their corporate IS resources to building the cli-ent-server computing environment.Despite this active interst and commitment,however,results from such cli-ent-sever projects are far from being convincing Among the many factors,we suspect,we supect that the less than less than satisfac-tory client-server experiences are perhaps due to the company's lack of underxtanding its essertial information processing characteristics.We analyze five client-server archiedctures in temrs of seven IS-related crieria.We then develop a contin-gency model to match company's information processing chracteristics to the ideal client-server architecture for the firm.Based on the client-server architecture analysis from the previous step. we recommend specific im-plementation strategies for each-server architecture selected. Finally,on an exploratory level,we look into the three client-server implmentation cases to cases to check the validity of our contingency model.

  • This paper suggests a model of a visual information system for factory automation. The model is composed of a visual processing system with client-server model and RPC(Remote Procedure Calling); a main server for controlling the whole factory automation process; and a processing server which processes the visual information only. To verify its efficiency, the suggested model is realized on the bill recognition system.

  • The purpose of this paper is the design and implementation of asynchronous remote procedure call (RPC) resource service system using the XML technology. For this purpose, the request information of client is encoded into XML document based on XML-DOM and transferred to server, Server classifies the client requests into general application program and XML-RPC service using the object which can deal with the XML-DOM. In addition, server saves the request result of client in XML-DOM structure not transmitting it immediately in order to support asynchronous service, and makes the client request redirected to another request server in XML-DOM information. As a result, general RPC and XML-RPC services were attained and client request was redirected to servers, and the execution environment was simplified compared to common RPC.

  • 인터넷 및 네트워크 환경의 비약적인 발전으로 기업체의 모든 기반 Application은 사용의 편리함과 시스템 및 데이터관리의 용이성 때문에 웹 기반모델로 변경되어 사용되고 있다. 그러나, 산업현장설비를 실시간 원격제어 감시하는 시스템인 SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)는 웹의 여러 한계성 때문에 아직까지 기존 Client-Server 모델로 대부분 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 웹의 한계성 중 Client 시스템의 실시간 통신 방식 및 속도, 부하 등을 기존 Client-Server 방식과 동일한 성능을 갖도록 설계 구현하여 적용하고 성능을 평가 하였다.

  • Many researches are going on with regard to issues and problems related to mobile database systems, which are caused by the weak connectivity of wireless networks, the mobility and the portability of mobile clients. Mobile computing satisfies user's demands for convenience and performance to use information at any time and in any place, but it has many problems to be solved in the aspect of data management. The purpose of our study is to design Mobile Continuous Query Processing System(MCQPS) to solve problems related to database hoarding, the maintenance of shared data consistency and the optimization of logging, which are caused by the weak connectivity and disconnection of wireless networks inherent in mobile database systems under mobile client server environments. We proved the superiority of the proposed MCQPS by comparing its performance to the C I S(Client-Intercept-Slaver) model. In Addition, we experiment on proposed index structure and methodology in various methods.

  • Many issues about portability and extension of system converting and exchanging information using XML standard data are being studied currently. This paper proposes design using XML processing layer for mediation between client and server to solve the development cost problem for compatibility and extension of client/server environment. This maintains mediation role for programming development between client and server and increases extension of system and portability of hetero geneous environment. This paper implements and designs XML data processing system for EC using XML DB among hetrogeneous databases. We expect cost-down by maintenance of system using this architecture for electronic commerce.
