5kW급 인라인 마이크로 수차 설계에 대한 연구 (The Study on Design of the 5kW Class Inline Micro-Turbine)

  • This paper is aimed to propose the design database(DB) of the inline micro-turbine for 5kW class. CFD analysis is performed to investigate the effect of a turbine on each parameter. This study showed that RadhaKrishna's data is different from the 5kW class in the low-head and the micro-turbine. Therefore, new DB for the design of inline micro-turbine for 5kW class could be needed. This study configured new design DB for the design of inline micro-turbine for 5kW class. The DB of this study showed that the optimal hub ratio(Dp/DR), the optimal body ratio(Db/DR) and the optimal range of body length ratio(Lh/DR) is 50%, 1.1 and 2.3 to 2.9, respectively.

Pareto-Based Multi-Objective Optimization for Two-Block Class-Based Storage Warehouse Design

  • This research proposes a Pareto-based multi-objective optimization approach to class-based storage warehouse design, considering a two-block warehouse that operates under the class-based storage policy in a low-level, picker-to-part and narrow aisle warehousing system. A mathematical model is formulated to determine the number of aisles, the length of aisle and the partial length of each pick aisle to allocate to each product class that minimizes the travel distance and maximizes the usable storage space. A solution approach based on multiple objective particle swarm optimization is proposed to find the Pareto front of the problems. Numerical examples are given to show how to apply the proposed algorithm. The results from the examples show that the proposed algorithm can provide design alternatives to conflicting warehouse design decisions.

Effects of Presentation Classes in English Language Curriculum: Focusing on Phonetics/Phonology and Syntax

  • The qualitative effect of class is influenced by the instructor's class design and operation method, but it comes from motivating students to actively participate in class and utilizing potential qualities that lead to student-centered learning. Students' activities and the quality development of class participation can be utilized in presentation-based classes. This could be confirmed through the presentation classes in English language curriculum applied to English major students in Korea. In other words, with presentations conducted in language-theoretic classes such as phonetics/phonology, and syntax, it turned out that immersion in learning, concentration on class, and motivation for learning can be improved, developing systematic self-directed learning ability and cooperative mutual communication ability. Instructors need to lead the direction and design of the classes, but the actual educational effect depends on how students accept the academic tasks, how well they understand the learning contents, and how well they can systematically transmit them to others. In this respect, this study aims to investigate that learner-centered presentation classes contribute to making learners develop their competencies in class design, data utilization, imparting knowledge, and communication, which would bring about the improvement of learning quality and educational effects.

설계기반연구방법에 기반한 초등학교 원어민 원격화상수업 설계 원리 (Design Principles for Videoconferencing Using an English Native Speaker Based on Design-Based Research)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초등학교에서 실시되고 있는 원어민을 활용한 원격화상 영어수업 설계 원리를 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 새롭게 부각되고 있는 설계기반연구(Design-Based Research) 방법을 적용하였다. 연구가 진행되는 3개월 동안, 수업동영상을 촬영하였고 수업이 끝난 후에는 한국교사와 원어민 교사로부터 성찰 일지를 수집하였으며 학생들을 대상으로 반구조화된 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 이러한 자료들을 토대로 원어민 활용 원격화상 영어수업의 과정을 수업 전, 수업 중, 수업 후의 3단계로 구분하여 수업이 진행되는 패턴, 오류 빈도, 상호작용성 등을 중심으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 교실의 한국 교사와 학습자, 원격지의 원어민 교사를 화상 시스템으로 이어주는 수업은 복잡하기 때문에 수업을 설계할 때 많은 부분들을 고려해야 하다.

  • The Fourth Industrial Revolution era requires people to have the ability of integrated thinking, critics, sensitivity, and creativity in an integrated manner. Therefore, teaching methods are expected to become more suitable for the trend. In this belief, current teacher-leading education method should move to students' self motivating one and consist of programs in which students voluntarily involve. In this reason, this study suggests FPBL educational method model that is combines project-based learning with flipped learning by analysing preceding research and digital painting tool class was designed by applying it. As a result of applying the designed class model to the class, all of the class satisfaction, effectiveness, and interaction were evaluated positively. Problems such as limitations of project classes due to non-face-to-face classes, large amount of learning before class, and reduced concentration during class were found. Therefore, when the FPBL class model is conducted non-face-to-face, it will be necessary to further strengthen the role of the instructor, provide lecture videos summarizing the core contents, and improve concentration by providing active participation and fun using various digital tools. The result of the study looks significant by confirming the possibility of applying FPBL model not only in design education but also other educational settings.

Type Object Class에 의한 Type Object 디자인 패턴의 런타임 클래스 참조문제의 해결 (Resolving the Runtime Class Reference Problem of the Type Object Design Pattern by Type Object Class)

  • Type Object 디자인 패턴은 하나의 클래스가 수많은 하위 클래스를 갖거나, 그 하위 클래스의 개수를 소프트웨어 개발시에 예측할 수 없는 상황을 해결하고자 제시된 패턴이다. 그러나, 이 패턴은 적용력과 여러 장점에도 불구하고 인스턴스를 생성하는 클래스와 그 인스턴스의 실제적 클래스가 분리되어 있고 또한 객체 레퍼런스에 의해서 서로 연관되어 있으므로 이에 대한 관리를 위한 메커니즘과 패턴의 이해에 있어서 많은 복잡성을 갖는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 Type Object Class의 설계와 구현을 제시한다. 즉, Type Object 패턴의 Type Class와 Object Class로부터 Type Object Class를 설정하고, 이를 런타임에 생성되고 사용되게 함으로써, 인스턴스들이 객체 지향프로그래밍 언어에서 제공하는 고유의 클래스를 참조하게 되어 별도의 클래스 참조 메커니즘을 가질 필요가 없도록 하였다. 따라서, 별도의 클래스 참조 메커니즘을 개발하는 부담과 이 메커니즘의 동작으로 인한 실행 상의 성능 저하의 문제가 개선되는 효과가 있다.

다중 섬 유전자 알고리즘 기반 A60 급 격벽 관통 관의 방화설계에 대한 이산변수 근사최적화 (Approximate Optimization with Discrete Variables of Fire Resistance Design of A60 Class Bulkhead Penetration Piece Based on Multi-island Genetic Algorithm)

  • A60 class bulkhead penetration piece is a fire resistance system installed on a bulkhead compartment to protect lives and to prevent flame diffusion in a fire accident on a ship and offshore plant. This study focuses on the approximate optimization of the fire resistance design of the A60 class bulkhead penetration piece using a multi-island genetic algorithm. Transient heat transfer analysis was performed to evaluate the fire resistance design of the A60 class bulkhead penetration piece. For approximate optimization, the bulkhead penetration piece length, diameter, material type, and insulation density were considered discrete design variables; moreover, temperature, cost, and productivity were considered constraint functions. The approximate optimum design problem based on the meta-model was formulated by determining the discrete design variables by minimizing the weight of the A60 class bulkhead penetration piece subject to the constraint functions. The meta-models used for the approximate optimization were the Kriging model, response surface method, and radial basis function-based neural network. The results from the approximate optimization were compared to the actual results of the analysis to determine approximate accuracy. We conclude that the radial basis function-based neural network among the meta-models used in the approximate optimization generates the most accurate optimum design results for the fire resistance design of the A60 class bulkhead penetration piece.

대빙구조선박의 추진축계설계에 대한 연구 (A study on the propulsion shafting design of ice class vessel)

  • As as result of development of new voyage route, especially Baltic seas, it is necessary for the design to meet ice class requirements as vessels continue to increase in this route. For this reason Finish-Swedish ice class has recently amended a regulation on the propulsion shafting design and engine output required for the ships which will be navigable in the brash ice channels broken by ice-breakers in Baltic seas. Therefore, this study shows the appropriate calculation methods for the design of engine output and propulsion shafting system based on ice class requirements.

뷰티디자인 교육에서 교수자의 커뮤니케이션 유형이 라포 및 수업 만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Instructor's Communication Type on Rapport and Class Satisfaction in Beauty Design Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of the instructor's communication type on class satisfaction. To this end, a survey was conducted on 204 people taking classes related to beauty design, and regression analysis was conducted on the collected data using SPSS 25.0. It was found that the instructor's communication type had a significant effect on the formation of rapport with learners and class satisfaction. As the instructor's verbal and non-verbal communication positively affects the formation of rapport and enhances class satisfaction, efforts are be needed to improve these aspects. In addition, it can be seen that the instructor's communication type is a variable that positively affects class satisfaction through the formation of rapport. Therefore, instructors need to use appropriate communication types, and the effect of class satisfaction with learners can be enhanced through non-verbal cues, such as exchanging gazes, while having a natural posture, and smiling.

MVC 디자인 패턴에 기반한 클래스 다이어그램 저작도구의 설계 (The Design of a Class Diagram Authorization Tool based on the MVC Design Pattern)

  • 본 논문에서는 MVC 패턴에 기반한 클래스 다이어그램 저작도구의 설계와 구현을 제시하고자 한다. 클래스 다이어그램 저작도구의 설계는 ClassInformation, ScreenDisplay, ToolManager에 대한 정의를 하고 구조를 기술한다. ClassInformation은 다이어그램의 정보를 가공하거나 처리하는 부분을 담당한다. ScreenDisplay는 저작도구의 화면을 구성하기 위해서 GUI를 담당한다. ToolManager는 저작도구의 입출력 처리위해 이벤트 처리를 담당한다. MVC 패턴을 바탕으로 저작도구의 ClassInformation, ScreenDisplay, ToolManager는 각각의 역할이 독립적으로 나눠져 있고, 결합도를 낮추기 때문에 새로운 기능 추가에 유연하게 대처한다.
