회로망 기반의 시간응답 해석에 따른 고전제어와 현대제어의 비교 연구 (Comparative Study on Classical Control and Modern Control via Analysis of Circuit-based Time Response)

  • 제어시스템의 시간응답을 해석하기 위해 전기회로망을 제안한다. 전달함수와 상태방정식을 이용해 시스템의 시간응답을 계산함으로써 고전제어와 현대제어의 연계성을 분석한다. 상태천이방정식의 복잡한 적분과정을 생략하고, 상태천이행렬과 전달함수의 조합만으로도 시간응답의 해석이 가능함을 제시한다. 단위계단함수와 정현파입력에 따른 전압­전류의 출력응답을 표현하기 위해 프로그램을 코딩하였다. 단위계단입력에서는 과도응답을 해석하였으며, 정현파입력에서는 전압과 전류의 위상차를 해석하였다. 제안된 내용을 과도응답이나 상태공간에 기술함으로써 제어공학의 이해도와 설계능력을 높인다.

수정진동자의 임피던스 해석에 의한 LB막의 전기적 특성 (Electric Properties of LB Films using Impedance Analysis of Quartz Crystal)

  • Quartz crystal in contact with viscoelastic medium was described directly in terms of the electrical equivalent circuit of the system. Stearic acid was used as viscoelastic medium and deposited on the surface of quartz crystal using the Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) method. Impedance properties of quartz crystal coated with LB films which were investigated by using admittance diagram and $Ζ-\theta$ plot a method of impedance analysis. When stearic acid LB film was deposited on the surface of quartz crystal, resonant frequency of quartz crystal was changed about 100 Hz/layer. This result illustrates the ability of the sensor system to detect small amounts of special gas in air.

Dual-Coupled Inductor High Gain DC/DC Converter with Ripple Absorption Circuit

  • High-gain DC/DC converters have become one of the key technologies for the grid-connected operation of new energy power generation, and its research provides a significant impetus for the rapid development of new energy power generation. Inspired by the transformer effect and the ripple-suppressed ability of a coupled inductor, a double-coupled inductor high gain DC/DC converter with a ripple absorption circuit is proposed in this paper. By integrating the diode-capacitor voltage multiplying unit into the quadratic Boost converter and assembling the independent inductor into the magnetic core of structure coupled inductors, the adjustable range of the voltage gain can be effectively extended and the limit on duty ratio can be avoided. In addition, the volume of the magnetic element can be reduced. Very small ripples of input current can be obtained by the ripple absorption circuit, which is composed of an auxiliary inductor and a capacitor. The leakage inductance loss can be recovered to the load in a switching period, and the switching-off voltage spikes caused by leakage inductance can be suppressed by absorption in the diode-capacitor voltage multiplying unit. On the basis of the theoretical analysis, the feasibility of the proposed converter is verified by test results obtained by simulations and an experimental prototype.

  • SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) has the ability to generate high resolution images regardless of a weather condition(e.g. visibility good or poor and day or night, etc.). SAR is considered as one of the most important powers and needs for the future since it has been utilized in a number of important military fields such as early warning, urban defense, missile guidance system, etc. Additionally there are many civilian demands and applications in aviation, traffic control, earth and space explorations, weather forecast etc. This days, the ability to acquire and analyze information is needed to cope with the urgency of global politics and international changes. In this paper, technical survey and development review for SAR systems are investigated to derive the core and immature technologies of domestic defense industry.

  • GPIB의 통합의 용이성과 VMEbus 시스템의 고속 데이터 전송의 장점을 갖춘 VXIbus 시스템은 계측기 산업의 표준으로 그 사용이 확산되고 있다. VXIbus 메시지 기반 디바이스(Message Based Device)는 VXIbus 레지스터 기반 디바이스(Register Based Device)에 비하여 속도면에서 불리한 점은 있으나 고수준의 명령어를 사용한 제어가 가능하여 통합리 용이하다는 장점을 지닌다. 한편 FFT분석기는 고속, 고해상도를 저렴하게 실현할 수 있는 신호분석용 장비로서 다양한 분석능력을 제공하므로 수많은 응용분야에 사용되고 있다. 따라서 FFT분석기를 VXIbus에 적용하는 것은 반드시 이루어져야 할 과제이다. 본 논문에서는 VXIbus 메시지 기반 디바이스(Message Based Device)로 FFT분석기를 구현하였다. 이를 위하여 VME용 신호처리모듈을 사용하였으며 A/D변환부와, VXIbus 인터페이스를 담당하는 제어무듈을 구현하였고 VXIbus 공유메모리 프로토콜(Shared Memory Protocol)을 지원하는 자원관리모듈 Slot0 Commander의 제어를 받도록 하였다.

Recovery Voltage Measurements of Oil-immersed Transformer

  • One of the methods currently being investigated as a possible non-intrusive diagnostic tool for condition monitoring of power transformer and cable is the recovery voltage measurement, which will be improving the ability to detect the content of water concentration and the ageing process in the insulation system and may thus be an indicator of insulation quality and its ageing status. The polarization phenomenon was studied using RVM with oil-paper samples. In order to interpret its mechanism, the Extended Debye model was introduced. With different circuit parameters, various simulation results were gotten. Furthermore, with the test samples of different ageing condition, measurements are accomplished in the lab. On the basis of this experiment as well as theoretical analysis, correlations between polarizations and ageing were analyzed.

  • This paper proposes a new topology with active switched-capacitor and switched-inductor impedance network, which can obtain a high boost factor with small shoot-through time. The proposed topology uses an active switched capacitor and switched-inductor impedance network in order to couple the main circuit and input dc source for boosting the output voltage. The proposed topology contains all advantages of the classical Z-source inverter. Comparing with other topologies, the proposed topology uses lesser component and the voltage boost inversion ability significantly increases. The theoretical analysis, pulse width modulation control strategies, and a comparison with classical ZSI have been given in this paper. Both simulation and experimental results will be presented to verify the advantages of the proposed topology.

  • BiCMOS technology, which combines CMOS and bipolar technology, offers the possibility of achieving both very high density and high performance. In this paper, the characteristics of BiCMOS and CMOS circuits, especilly the delay time is studied. BiCMOS inverter, which has high drive ability because of bipolar transistor, drives high load capacitance and has low-power characteristics because the current flows only during switching transient just like the CMOS gate. BiCMOS inverter has the less dependence on load capacitance than CMOS inverter. SPICE that has been used for electronic circuit analysis is chosen to simulate these circuits and the characteristics is discussed.

RAKE Receiver for Time Division Synchronous CDMA Mobile Terminal

  • For the sake of the potential ability of overcoming interference in TD-SCDMA(time division-synchronous code division multiple access) systems, pilot signal is adopted, but the presented TD-SCDMA protocol has not considered the Rake technique for their mobile terminals. This paper developed a RAKE receiver algorithm and an implementation circuit, which make use of the pilot signal in the burst structure of the TD-SCDMA base station to estimate main channel parameter(channel delays) in the downlink of TD-SCDMA wireless network. The algorithm can reduce multipath interference for the mobile units in multiusers' case. Theoretic performance analysis presented in the paper and computer simulations show that there is a range of BER for Rake receiver and confirm that the proposed RAKE receiver algorithm achieved a better performance under multipath fading propagation and multiusers conditions.

  • In this study, on-line measuring system were developed to verify performances and functions of traction system that are used in KTX(Korea Train eXpress) synthetically and efficiently, and have been measuring electric signals of vehicle as well as mechanical signals up to the present. Running-braking measuring equipment was constructed in vehicle to optimize signal acquisition and analysis ability of the measuring system. Measurement data of signal were performed acquisition, analysis and evaluation using this equipment. KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute) described about main specifications of measuring equipment. Also, the structure and principles as well as main circuit system were explained in brief. KRRI analyzed the characteristics comparing design values with experimental values about running distance, running time and positive acceleration for KTX is running in full traction. We analyzed the distance and time according to number of motor block. In result, running characteristics of traction system in KTX were verified and could be evaluated.
