  • This study examines the changes that $^{99m}Tc$ causes to CT(Computed Tomography) images quantitatively when CT scans were continuously performed using $^{99m}Tc$. With the use of the CT, $^{99m}Tc$ 740MBq was injected into the Resolution Phantom and Water Phantom, and the tube voltage was changed with 80 kVp and 120 kVp, scanning before and after the injection. The result indicate, by comparing the Signal Intensity according to the presence or absence of the $^{99m}Tc$ injection with the tube voltage of 120 kVp and 80 kVp, a decrease of 0.173 and 0.241 was observed respectively and the spatial resolution increase of 0.090 and 0.109 was observed respectively. The order of the test should be considered because the gamma rays of the radiopharmaceutical used in the nuclear medicine test do not affect the CT while the effective half-life of the radiopharmaceuticals should be considered for the CT scan to reduce the influence of the gamma rays emitted after the nuclear medicine test, with the possibility to reduce the difference of the results.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of spiritual education for spiritual care competence reinforcement of nursing students. 83 subjects of nursing students were participated in two universities located in J city(from February 27 to May 19, 2017) and composed of 42 in the experimental group and 41 in the control group. The spiritual education was composed of three sections; self-awareness, spirituality, and spiritual dimension in nursing. This program was then implemented on the subjects for a total of 10 sessions with each session lasting 120 minutes and given 2 times a week for 5 weeks. The data collected were analyzed for descriptive statistics, χ2-test, Independent t-test and Repeated ANOVA. This spiritual education increased the spirituality, ego-identity, spiritual well-being, satisfaction with life, and spiritual care competence of the nursing students. The effectiveness of the spiritual education also maintained in five weeks after intervention. It is therefore proposed that this education be utilized for the nursing students as basic standardization process of a spiritual nursing care.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to construct and test a predictive model that explains and predicts the quality of life in older men living alone. Methods: A self-report questionnaire was used to collect data from 334 older adult men living along aged 65 years or over living in Jeollanam-do provinces. The endogenous variables were depression, self-rated health, instrumental activity of daily life, health promotion behaviors, the number of social participation activities and quality of life. Data were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 programs. Results: The final model with 14 of the 8 analysed paths showed a good fit to the empirical data: χ2 = 173.26(p < .001, df = 53), normed χ2 = 3.27, GFI = .92, NFI = .90, CFI = .93, TLI = .89, RMSEA = .08 and SRMR = .06. Activities had direct effect on quality of life of older men living alone and social support had both direct and indirect effects. Meanwhile, function and socioeconomic status showed only indirect effects. The variables included in the eight significant paths explained 83.7% of variance in the prediction model. Conclusion: Instrumental activities of daily living and social support effect directly on quality of life in the older men living alone. Findings suggest that health care providers including community nurses need to provide social support as well as empowerment programs of instrumental activities of daily living and health promotion for improving quality of life of the older men living alone.

Various factors related to the DE are the character of investors applying risk management which is also influenced by the social media, Salient Shock (COVID-19), and in the specific case of Indonesia, the phenomenon of rumor stocks wherein the price can rise as much as up to 8500%. The study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the DE with specific explanatory factors, namely investor behavior and rumors. Data was obtained through a questionnaire sent to 248 Indonesian Stock Exchange Investors (IDX) during the period October-November 2021 by using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results show: Generation Z, women, and investors with a low education has a greater DE, risk-takers tend to have lower DE, and professionals have negative DE. Implementation of risk management will reduce DE. Social Media and the COVID-19 situation positively affect DE. Especially on stock rumors, there is evidence that investors who own rumor stocks will have a low DE. The results indicate the need for: (i) risk management, especially for Z Generation, women and low education Investors, (ii) to provide positive information so that information on social media can be responded to positively.
