First, it was found that learning flow, learning satisfaction and learning outcomes of group presented with video forms of short sentences had higher statistical significance compared to the group experiencing the key word method. Second, learning flow, learning satisfaction and learning outcomes of group presented with video forms of only related information had higher statistical significance compared to the group experiencing the presenting method of both detailed and related information. That is, the mean values of dependent variables for groups of short form text and only related information were highest. In contrast, the mean values of dependent variables for groups of key words and both detailed and related information were the lowest.

  • With the fierce competition between universities and the diversification and rapid development of multimedia, university promotional videos have become one of the effective means for universities to instill a better brand image, increase their competitiveness, and attract more new students. There were not many studies on university promotional videos in the field of advertising promotion, and there were no comparative studies on university promotional videos in Korea and China. Accordingly, this study aims to analyze promotional videos of the top 30 universities in Korea and China by referring to the world university rankings released by the 2021 World University Rankings (QS) World University Evaluation Agency and explore the differences between the two countries. According to the results of the study, it was found that there were some significant differences between Korea and China's university promotional images in each analysis category. This study is meaningful in that it will serve as a reference for the production of promotional videos for schools in the future while presenting the differences between Korean and Chinese university promotional videos.

  • Because individuals come together to form a society, society has characteristics that are different or similar. Furthermore, as globalization and language acquisition in other countries have been activated, the frequency of studying abroad has increased. While Korea also studies abroad, the number of students coming to Korea from other countries continues to increase, increasing. In particular, when there was interest in start-up businesses, the factors were discovered through exploratory research in order to identify factors affecting the level of growth in start-ups when they had different nationalities. In order to conduct exploratory research, the government wanted to check more in-depth information through semi-structured interviews with co-founder companies composed of Koreans and Chinese. The main keywords were repeated or emphasized continuously during the interview, and other keywords were obtained through additional questions. As a result, it has been confirmed that self-acceptance, cultural distance, entrepreneurship, knowledge quality and growth are very large keywords in the co-founding start-up of different countries. The proposition was established as having a relationship of justice with self-acceptance, cultural distance and entrepreneurship as independent variables and with the degree of growth as dependent variables. In particular, in the case of co-founding with different nationalities, the most important knowledge quality was represented the effect of reverse U in each relationship (the relationship between self-acceptance, cultural distance, entrepreneurship and growth).

  • This study investigated the effects of music and actor evaluation on musical watching intention by performing a survey on 187 undergraduate and graduate students in Korea and China. Controlling respondents' gender, major, interests on arts, annual number of musicals attended and musical participation motivation grouped by music and actor, we found three things. First, a high evaluation of music and actor leads to high watching intention. Second, when a person is motivated by music, high evaluation on music increases the watching intention, but this is not the case for the actor. Third, Chinese people do not show any interaction effects of watching motivation between musical evaluation and watching intention. In conclusion, people are found to have a greater musical watching intention when they are motivated by music and evaluate high on music, rather than when they are motivated by the actor and evaluate high on actor. Also, the differential effects of evaluation on the musical do not exist in China, where a different musical participation culture prevails.

  • Animation in Taiwan has been profoundly influenced by the production of labor intensity for American and Japanese in the early days of its development. This phenomenon of the labor intensity reached peak in the 1980s. Information Bureau of Taiwan began to establish a system of supportive funding for its animation industry in the 1990s. During this period, the animation industry in Taiwan gave special emphasis to the theme of the local culture and to the creative works of the animation. By the 2010s, the elements of Chinese culture were introduced in the animation production in Taiwan. Through cross-national cooperation in production with other advanced countries, the Taiwan-made animation was successfully expended to the international market. However, the animation industry in Taiwan is facing the following problematical challenges: Firstly, the Taiwan government gives special attention to the financial support of animation industry rather than training university students to become professional experts in animation production. Secondly, there is no professional higher institution established to train specialized professional animation film-makers. Thirdly, Due to the lack of the cultural inspiration and the original mind, the form of its creative animated production is primarily imitated from other advanced countries. And fourthly, despite the fact that there is a cooperation and exchange programs between Taiwan and other foreign animation industries.
