  • This study attempts to shed additional light on the national diffusion process and interaction of welfare services for children and mothers. The central hypothesis examined is the following : In general, the implant of social welfare system is first considered on the characteristics of their own socio-economics , and diffusion prodess of welfare services tends to occur faster in countries with open sicieties than in countries where entry barriers are high and society ranking rigid. The scope of the study is limited in several ways. Attention is concentrated on the agency of woman in the belief that an in-depth case study of one field can yield more insight than a less detailed investigation embracing a number of social welfare systems. The angency of woman is selected for several reasons. a) It is important the agency of woman alone produce more effective than services affecting both the child welfare and women's libertion bradually. Moreover, these services will form the heart of mother's welfare. b) The services of women's agency is gradually wide spread, since a role of government is still negligible before a full realization of economic income. c) The services of women agency is a prime example of a social welfare. d) statistical data and other information are more readily available. One of major findings of our study is the existence of the barriers inhibiting child welfare form " motherhood cult". Despite all the distinct advantages for mother and child , social attitudes appear to be some resistant on child welfare system among men and women even the agenices of women. What is surprised is the extent of the awareness that strategies of women's agency to liberate woman and to increate activities of women involve the strategies to liberate child. The conviction that solving application problems for child welfare in line with the activities of agency by women offer greater freedom and more advantage to mother are not apparent on the data collected from 18 of multi-functional agencies in our country. there are little sign that such agencies cooperate toward attainment of common goals. The intensive early focus of the movement on consciousness raising is a necessary beginning and such efforts by women's organizations would help both in the continuous evolution of women and child. Some of the agencies offer a variety of services to women and children, others are specialized in that they offer fewer services or even only one. Social welfare agenices giving service to children and their families are identified by various names usually women service and child welfare from govern , mental agency and voluntary public agency to foreign aided. What is totally missing , however, is an integrated synthesis of child welfare program Through women's agency. Social changes to occur, but delineation of appropriate and comprehensive social policy is also necessary at this point at this point since efforts, social changes and polices must be well coordianted and focused, as well as mutually supprotive and reinforcing.

  • Green consumption refers to a variety of activities including use and purchase of eco-friendly products and services and disposing of products in an eco-friendly manner. The goal of this research was to evaluate the effects of a green consumption education and awareness program offered to young children in a university-sponsored daycare. The education and awareness program was designed to improve young children's knowledge and behaviors toward the environment through green consumption education. The program was presented to 22 5-year old children in 15-20 minutes sessions, once a week for 4 weeks. Evaluation of the program was carried out through individual interviews with the children and their mothers. Upon the completion of the green consumption education program, there were noticeable changes in children's knowledge and behavior toward the environment. Mothers of participating children reported that children's environmental behaviors changed significantly, displaying a stronger green consumption attitude. This study suggests that environmental educational program during early childhood educational is an effective way of improving children's perceptions of environmental and conservation practices.

The results from 22 church libraries are investigated in terms of some factors such as material organization, quantity of materials, facilities, staffs, budgets, public services, users and classification systems. Current libraries are very small in its facility, quantity of the materials and the budget, and lack of the full-time librarian. Recently, children's libraries are established among small churches, and their budgets and public services are stable. Suggestions for revitalizing the church libraries are made: the pastor's understanding of the significance of church library for missions' sake, establishment of more church libraries, acquisitions of various non-book materials, budget security, necessity for a full-time librarian, provision of various types of services and cooperations among church libraries.

In case of inconvenience during the use of the e-cards, it is recommended to cooperate with related organizations in order to promptly handle and provide guidance, and thoroughly manage child feeding service such as hygiene, nutrition and kindness etc. To do so, it is very important to provide food service that meets local actual conditions and children's needs in a cost effective manner for the underage who are worried about the poorly-fed by understanding the pattern of child feeding e-card service. Hence. this paper aims to investigate how child feeding e-card service efficiently provides meals according to the local situation and children's needs through big data analysis and to propose a method of identifying welfare conditions according to the purpose of service with actual application examples. The results suggest that, first of all, this study is able to judge appropriateness of public institution's policy in a timely and repetitive manner through non-standard data analysis such as Naver News and transaction data. Secondly, this paper proposes a multi-layered analysis framework, which performs online open data analysis to detect policy issues, visualizes retrieval and preprocessing of real data, and performs abnormal pattern recognition. These will be worthy of reference to other similar projects.

  • Today, the importance of library services for children is well acknowledged by many. The children's rooms of the public library in addition to the children's library must be the place where the community's young ones grow up and learn to give back to their society. Also, the libraries are a life-long source of education. However, not all of the public libraries in our country have librarians specialized in children and young adults. The lack of specialized librarians prevents the public libraries from keeping up with the rapid change of society, which in turn prevents the libraries from meeting children's needs for information, culture, and recreation. The purpose of this research has two goals in mind. The first objective is to find out how to effectively build cooperative networks that will help the children's librarians of both public and children's libraries to better serve the children. The second objective is to solve any problems the librarians may encounter while serving the children by studying the formal and informal contents of the cooperative networks, and identifying which areas are in need of these cooperative networks.
