보육시설과 가정의 연계를 통한 감각활동이 영아의 신체발달과 영아-부모 상호작용에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of the Child Care Center-Family Linked Sensory Activity on Infant's Physical Development and Infant-Parent Interaction)

  • 본 연구는 보육시설에서 이루어지는 영아 감각활동을 가정과 연계하여 실시함으로써 영아의 신체발달과 영아-부모 상호작용에 미치는 효과를 알아보고 이를 통해 영아의 발달과 부모의 자녀양육에 도움을 주고자 하였다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 K시의 S어린이집과 D어린이집에 재원중인 만 1 2세 영아 56명과 영아의 어머니 또는 아버지 56명이다. 연구도구는 교사용 1 2세 영아발달평가도구(이영자, 이종숙, 신은수, 곽향림, 이정욱, 2002)중 일부와 Assessment Profile for Early Childhood Program(APECP)(Abbott-Shim & Sibely, 1987)를 수정하여 사용한 선행연구(강숙현, 2002)를 참고하여 영아-부모 상호작용 설문지를 작성하여 사용하였다. 보육시설-가정연계 감각활동은 표준보육과정에 근거하여 육아정책개발센터(2007)에서 개발한 프로그램과 삼성복지재단(2003)의 영아프로그램을 바탕으로 선정된 감각활동을 보육시설의 월간 계획안에 반영하여 1주일에 3회씩 총 8주에 걸쳐 24회 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 보육시설-가정연계 감각활동을 적용한 집단은 통제집단보다 영아의 신체발달에서 부분적으로 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육시설-가정연계 감각활동을 적용한 집단은 통제집단에 비해 전체적으로 영아-부모 상호작용 증진에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

보육시설장의 장애 영유아 통합보육 경험에 관한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study on Center Directors' Experience about Integrated Child Care for Infants with Disability)

  • 본 연구는 보육시설장의 장애 영유아 통합보육에 대한 경험에 관한 질적 연구를 통하여, 통합보육 실시에 따른 시설장의 긍정적 내지 부정적 인식과 초래되는 어려움을 심층적으로 분석함으로써 통합보육의 성공적 정착을 위한 기초자료를 구축하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 보육시설의 시설장으로 재직 중인 9명을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 실시한 후, 근거이론에 기초하여 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 12개의 범주, 25개의 하위범주, 82개의 개념이 도출되었다. 보육시설장의 장애 통합보육 경험의 중심현상인 '통합보육 시행에 따른 어려움'으로 나타났고, 중심현상을 극복하기 위한 작용/상호작용전략은 '의무교육에 대한 긍정적 태도', '통합에 대한 끊임없는 공부'로 나타났으며, 결과는 '바람직한 통합보육 시설의 준비'로 나타났다.

어머니의 양육스트레스와 영유아의 교육기관 적응의 관계 (The Relationships between the Parenting Stress of Mothers and the Adjustment of Young Children in Child-Care Centers)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships of mothers' parenting stress and young children's adjustment to the child care centers they attend. The subjects for this study comprised 401 young children from 1 to 4 years of age from 11 child care centers in C-si, Chungnam, and their mothers. The results of this study were as follows : First, there were no significant differences in the parenting stress of mothers related to whether they were working or not, the age of the children nor their gender Second, there were no significant differences in the adjustment of young children to their child care center related to their mothers' work status nor age of the children themselves. However, there was a significant difference in relation to the gender of the young children in that girls were better in their adjustment to the child care center than boys. Third, a negative correlation appeared between mothers' parenting stress and their young children's adjustment to the child care center in that the higher maternal parenting stress was, the greater the difficulties for their young children in their adjustment to the child care center. There were significant negatively correlations between most sub-factors of maternal parenting stress and the adjustment of those children to the child care center.

어린이집 질병 및 안전사고 사례분석 (A Case Analysis of Health and Safety Management of Child Care Center)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the situation of occurrence of disease and accidence of child care center. The subjects of this study were 17 public district child care centers, but only one center kept their health diary. Therefore, it became finally the only subject for this study. The data were collected through the analysis it's health diary and case reports for emergency. The collected data were analyzed by the number of cases, age and sex, types of case, and the emergency case were analyzed by age, background, types of accidents and follow up. The number of cases of disease and accident in 2002 were 572. In sexual difference, boys more have accident than girls. The teachers and the outsiders also frequently use the health care service. Smallpox and epidemic conjunctivitis were spreaded during winter and summer. In causes of accidents, 'accident by other child' were 98%. In emergency cases, 1 pierced wound, 1 dislocation, 2 dental emergencies, 4 eyeball contusion and bleedings and 2 burns were occurred. all the cases of emergency were performed follow up education. On the basis of above data, there will be needed to intensify health and safety subjects in curriculum for the teacher of child care, and health and safety education for child. Each child care centers must have health care manager and the network for emergency. To enhance the quality of child care service, government have to offer financial and systematical support.

어린이집의 재원 시간과 영유아들이 경험하는 일상적 스트레스의 관계 (Correlations between the Amount of Time Spent in Child Care Centers and Children's Daily Stress Levels)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore potential correlation between the amount of time children spent in child care centers and their daily stress levels. The subjects of this study were 165 children (aged 2~5) who attended a child care center in Seoul. Children were interviewed individually, and tested using 23 picture cards which describe a range of stressful situations. The results of this study were as follows: the children's age led to significant differences in their stress level. The age at which the children first entered the child care center had no significant impact on their stress level. However, the times spent in child care centers showed a significant correlation with stress. The longer time the child spent in the center, the higher the degree of stress they encountered.

영아기 돌봄유형이 영아발달수준에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 가정내 돌봄과 어린이집 돌봄의 비교를 중심으로 (The Impact of Child Care Type on Infant's Developmental Outcome: Focusing on the Care Type of at Home Nurturing and Daycare Center)

  • 본 연구는 보육정책이 가진 아동 발달적 기능에 초점을 두고, 돌봄의 유형이 영아의 발달에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 했다. 구체적으로는 돌봄의 유형을 어린이집 돌봄, 가정내 양육으로 구분하고 이를 세분화하여 각 발달영역에 미치는 영향을 비교하고자 하였다. 한국아동패널 1-3차년도 자료를 활용, 발달 영역 별 중다회귀방법으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어린이집의 이용이 영아의 운동기능 및 언어, 사회성의 모든 발달영역에 미치는 영향이 모두 긍정적으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어린이집 이용 시기에 따라서 각 발달 영역의 수준이 차이를 보였으며, 마지막으로 어린이집 인증여부는 영아의 사회성 발달 측면에서만 그 차이가 나타났다. 종합해 볼 때, 어린이집 이용이 영아의 발달 수준에 긍정적이라고 하더라도 어린이 평가인증 강화와 같은 서비스 질 제고 방안 역시 여전히 필요해 보인다.

보육교사에 대한 보건소 중심의 영유아 안전관리 교육 프로그램의 효과 (Effect of Community Based Child Safety Education Program for Child Care Teachers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of an education program promoting attitude, knowledge, and practice of safety for teachers in child care centers. Method: This education was provided at one public health center in Kyunggi Province. One group pretest-post test design was used, and knowledge on safety and emergency care, practice of safety, health belief and self confidence on safety practice were assessed from 74 teachers. Theoretical framework for this program was Pender's health promotion model. Result: After two hours group education session on safety management, knowledge on safety and emergency care was significantly increased and perception on the main cause of injuries was significantly changed. Practice on safety was significantly related to the knowledge, health belief and confidence on safety, and social support. Conclusion: The education program for teachers in child care centers regarding the child safety and emergency care was effective in promoting knowledge and perception on the main cause of injuries of infants.

양육환경과 기관의 질이 유아의 스트레스 행동에 미치는 영향 (The Relations of Family Environment and Quality of Child Care Center to Child's Stress Behaviors)

  • This study investigated relationships among family environment, quality of child care center and chlld's stress behaviors. The subjects were 241 boys, 197 girls and their mothers in 7 child care centers in Seoul and Kyonggido. Children's behaviors were evaluated by three raters(mothers, teachers, and observers) in either a family setting or a child care center. The results showed that children who had problem behaviors in their families showed more stress and problem behaviors in the child care centers. Mothers who reported more stressful life events and parental stress had children with more problem behaviors in their families. Observers and teachers reported fewer stress and problem behaviors in child care centers rated as showing high quality of program.

장애 영유아 부모의 지역사회자원 활용에 대한 사례연구: 서울 북부를 중심으로 (A Case Study on the Utilization of Community Resources by Parents of Children with Disabilities: Focusing on the Northern Part of Seoul)

  • This study the presents survey results of a families living with children with disabilities in northern Seoul (Nowon-gu and Dobong-gu) that provides various educational services. This study investigates the current usage and needs of community resources for children with disabilities by the families in the inclusive and segregated care as well as education centers to provide information for the effective implementation of the current system. A total of 109 surveys were distributed and 62 (57%) were returned. 44 families in the 14 inclusive care and education centers as well as 18 families in the 2 segregated care and education centers participated in this study. They were asked to report on access to community resources that include compulsory education, family support, medical treatment, counseling services, commuting support, ways to gain necessary information, current use, and further needs for community resources for their children. Research results indicated that families in two different types of child care centers needed differentiated community services. Parents who use a segregated child care center demanded physical accessibility and increased numbers of highly qualified teachers; however, parents who use the inclusive child care center require the unified information system for the community resources. Survey findings are discussed related to differences between the two types of child care centers. Implications for sharing comprehensive information through child care teachers and directors of child care centers and future research are also discussed.

보육시설 평가인증에 대한 보육시설장과 보육교사의 인식 (Awareness of Evaluative Accrediation System of the Heads and Teachers in Childcare Centers)

  • This study was intended to analyze whether there would be difference in awareness of the Evaluative Accreditation System(the administrative procedures of Evaluative Accreditation, the effect of Evaluative Accreditation, and the preferred public support types for encouraging participation in Evaluative Accreditation) between child-care directors and teachers, and among the types of child-care centers. The questionnaires were administrated to 168 child-care directors and 423 child-care teachers in Gyeonggido. Data analyses were conducted by descriptive statistics, the chi-test and the t-test. The main results were as follows. First, there was significant difference in awareness of the administrative procedures of Evaluative Accreditation among the types of child-care centers. Second, there was difference in awareness of the effect of Evaluative Accreditation on child-care service areas between child-care center directors and teachers, and among the types of child-care centers in terms of child-care services. Third, in terms of the preferred public support for the encouragement of participation in Evaluative Accreditation, there was difference between child-care center directors and teachers, and among the types of child-care centers.
