태양광 발전과 에너지저장시스템을 활용한 모빌리티 충전 시스템의 제어 방법 (Control Strategies of Mobility Charging Systems Using PV-ESS Systems)

  • Operation modes and control strategies for single-phase mobility charging station utilizing photovoltaic (PV) generation and energy storage systems (ESS) are proposed. This approach generates electric power from PV to transmit the mobility, ESS, and then transfer it to the grid when surplus electric power is generated during daytime. However, the PV power cannot be generated during night-time, and ESS and the mobility system can be charged using grid power. The power balance control based on power fluctuations and the resonant current control that can compensate harmonic components have been added to increase the stability of the system. The MATLAB/Simulink simulation was carried out to verify the proposed control method, and the 2-kW single-phase grid-tied PV-ESS smart mobility charger was built and tested.

  • This study analyzed the electric vehicle recharging station status with recharging time limitation due to long waiting time, and figured out the user status by user interviews. And then this study verified the validity of hypothesis in terms of environmental design perspective and suggested layout of recharging station model. 21 recharging stations in Korea and station operation cases of 7 countries were examined. Except for the USA, the reality of electric vehicle recharging station today is the 1st proving stage focusing on the infrastructure construction of electric vehicle recharging station. It focuses on performance of recharging facility, use efficiency and operation environment of electric vehicle. About the effective waiting time of the user to use it should be studied. The current conditions of recharging station are as follows: Lack of independent recharging space, lack of facility that reduces external effect of recharging space, and lack of lounge for users during the waiting time. These three are essential factors constructing a suggesting model after basic layout, which needs proper measurement on the long recharging time and long waiting time. The essential factors are applied to electric vehicle recharging station layout so that users might use 'digital refresh" i.e. lounge and information contents service during the waiting time which provides convenience of recharging and emotional space with users. Such upgrade recharging station environmental model might resolve the burden of long recharging time which may contribute to the popularization of electric vehicles.

이동로봇의 자동충전을 위한 어안렌즈 카메라의 보정 및 인공표지의 검출 (Fish-eye camera calibration and artificial landmarks detection for the self-charging of a mobile robot)

  • This paper describes techniques of camera calibration and artificial landmarks detection for the automatic charging of a mobile robot, equipped with a fish-eye camera in the direction of its operation for movement or surveillance purposes. For its identification from the surrounding environments, three landmarks employed with infrared LEDs, were installed at the charging station. When the robot reaches a certain point, a signal is sent to the LEDs for activation, which allows the robot to easily detect the landmarks using its vision camera. To eliminate the effects of the outside light interference during the process, a difference image was generated by comparing the two images taken when the LEDs are on and off respectively. A fish-eye lens was used for the vision camera of the robot but the wide-angle lens resulted in a significant image distortion. The radial lens distortion was corrected after linear perspective projection transformation based on the pin-hole model. In the experiment, the designed system showed sensing accuracy of ${\pm}10$ mm in position and ${\pm}1^{\circ}$ in orientation at the distance of 550 mm.

Automated Wireless Recharging for Small UAVs

  • We develop a wireless, contact free power transfer mechanism that is safer than the direct metallic contact and robust to imperfect alignment on landing at the base station. A magnetic field is created using inductors on both the transmitting and receiving sides. We use the inductive wireless recharging to increase autonomy and decrease the sensor interference by reducing the inductor loop size. By locating four independent small receiver loops and corresponding four circuits around the quadrotor UAV, we can increase safety from circuit malfunctions in comparison to the use of just one loop. On the base station, four folding robotic bars are used to realign the receiver loops over the transmitter loops. After adequate recharging as measured by battery voltages or power consumption at the bae station, the UAV sends a signal to the base station to open the robotic bars and takes off once freed from the robotic bars.

가스정압관리소 기반의 복합에너지허브 기본설계 (A Basic Design of Multi Energy Hub Based on Natural Gas Governor Station)

  • In this literature, we are introduce a basic design of multi energy hub based on natural gas governor station. Multi energy hub consists of turbo expender generator, phosphoric acid fuel cell, pressure swing adsorption, H2 charging station, utilities and etc. We design a hybrid energy hub system that provides energy using these complex energies, and calculates the amount of electricity that can be produced and the amount of hydrogen charged through the process analysis. TEG and phosphoric acid fuel cell produce 2,290 to 2,380 kW and can supply electricity to 500 houses. In addition, By-product H2 gas is refined to H2 vehicle fuel. This will help maximize the balance of energy demand and supply and improve national energy efficiency by integrating unused decompression energy power generation technology and various power generation/heat source technologies.

  • 정부는 2019년 1월 세계 최고 수준의 수소경제 선도국가로 도약하기 위해 「수소경제 활성화 로드맵」을 발표했으며, 우리나라가 강점이 있는 수소자동차와 연료전지를 양대 축으로 수소경제를 선도할 수 있는 산업생태계 구축 전략을 세웠다. 그 일환으로 2022년 310개소, 2040년 1,200개소의 수소충전소 보급목표를 수립하였다. 이에 발맞춰 2021년 2월 한국가스안전공사는 속도감 있는 수소충전소 구축을 위해 시공단계에서 안전기준에 따른 다양한 현장 문제 발생으로 인한 시공지연을 사전해소하기 위한 수소충전소 사전컨설팅 제도를 운영하게 된다. 본 논문은 사전컨설팅 제도에 대해 알아보고 그 효과를 분석하고자 한다.

  • 최근 전 세계적인 탄소 중립 정책으로 인해 전기차 보급 속도는 예상보다 훨씬 빠르게 증가하고 있다. 하지만 늘어나는 수요에 비해 전기차 충전기 수는 턱없이 부족하다. 그뿐만 아니라 일반 차들의 전기차 충전소 불법주차로 인해 전기차가 충전하지 못하는 불편함이 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 에지 컴퓨터(edge computer)와 딥러닝 기반 객체 감지 시스템 YOLO(You only look once)를 이용한 전기차 충전소 불법주차 방지 시스템을 개발한다. 먼저, 이 시스템은 카메라를 통해 실시간으로 영상을 받아 YOLO를 이용하여 차량 번호판 인식이 되면 전기차 번호판의 특정 마크를 인식하여 전기차인지 일반 차인지를 판별하여 판별된 값에 따라 주차 차단기가 작동되는 시스템이다. 전기차이면 차단기가 내려가서 충전소를 이용할 수 있게 하고 일반차일 경우 주차 차단기가 내려가지 않고 막아 불법주차를 차단한다. 이와 같은 기술을 활용하여 전기차 충전소 불법주차 방지에 기여하고자 한다.

  • As the development of hydrogen vehicles has accelerated in recent years, it is necessary to develop a storage tank for hydrogen fueling stations capable of high-pressure charging, and for this purpose, a new system with a compressor-embedded refueling tank is required. In this study, the parametric study of shape design based on strength performance evaluation was carried out to find the optimal shape design of bellows, the core component of compressor-embedded refueling tank for a newly developed hydrogen refueling station capable of high-pressure charging above 1,000 bar. The design factors for parametric study were contour shape and radius of bellows, and the performance factors were the maximum stress and the gap distance in the contact direction. In the shape design of the compressor bellows for hydrogen refueling station considered in this study, it was found that adjusting the contour radius is an appropriate design method to improve the compression performance and structural safety.

  • 제조식 수소충전소에서 생산되는 수소가스는 일반적으로 석탄연료의 개질 및 부생가스 등을 활용하지만 순수물을 활용한 수전해 기술의 경우 청정한 기술로 각광 받고 있다. 전기에너지를 이용하여 순수한 물로부터 수소를 생산하는 기술 중에는 향후 가격 및 성능 경쟁에서 우수한 PEM(Polymer Electrolyte Membrane electrolysis)을 이용한 개발이 주로 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 수소충전소 중 개발단계에 있는 PEM 수전해 수소충전소에 대해 잠재된 유해위험요소를 확인하여 안전한 수소생산 및 수소충전소의 활성화를 도모하고자 한다. 유해위험요소를 도출하기 위해서는 수전해 수소충전소의 설비 및 장치의 안전성이 우선 확보되어야하기에 FMEA(Failure Mode & Effect Analysis)를 수행함으로써 수전해 및 수소충전소의 설비에서의 유해위험요인을 분석하였다.
